I appreciate your short videos. Busy lifestyle. I cant do some of the moves as deep. I modify a lot! But finding more range in motion in my lower back, hips and knees. Understanding my body and where I need to stretch more. Ty
Gabo: I just want you to know how you have influenced me. I started out with this video and have used it consistently since and I have since joined your academy. I You see: I have Stege 3 Osteoarthritis and Stage 2 Osteoarthritis and was in a significant amount of pain. I was going to give up and have knee replacements, but I tried your channel and now I am able to do all of these and my hamstrings, quads, calves, IT band has SIGNIFICANTLY loosened up! My knees have gotten significantly better as well, and I will be able to have the recline hero pose because I'm not afraid anymore. You, Tom Merrick, and Strength Side is like the Holy Grails for me, and you all have greatly increased my self-esteem in myself! I Thank you so much for being there! Namaste! P.S. Yes, I am posting on all of the channels that have helped me.
Best deep quad & hip flexor routine ever!! Thank you!! I have some pain in my right knee over the knee cap and under the bottom front and I am hoping that adding this stretch routine in regularly will help fix that too.
First I have to say: it’s amazing how you took the time to answer to nearly every comments, really shows why you are doing everything thing that you are doing for us, pure passion. Secondly, even though I really like long routines to do at the end of the day, more often in the middle of night 😆, short routines like this one are doable during the day as a break from work, and it’s really good to have them, thank you brother

Feedback after over 2 months of sm academy and phase one done : keep up the good work, I would recommend a month for everybody to try it out. Very nicely build website and programms. You can Start at a low Level but you should have some basic (e.g. Pushups on your knees) and it builds from their. Sadly it is a bit repetitiv, I would have hoped for a bit more variation and not doing the same stuff for 6 weeks. Especially with the Yoga programs it got a bit boring. I did all three Programms parallel so there was something to mix up. My limitations are my hamstrings, which hinder me at pistol squads and L sits. Without the pistol squats leg day was to easy for my and I had to ad weights in the gym and do deatlifts and so on. Sadly Phase 2 for Handstand and Yoga are not done yet. Since I got three free months as a gift for commenting here I will definitly extend my member ship for at least 3 months to pay for what I've already got. I would love to buy your merch, but shipping to Germany is to expensive

Trust me, that will increase your reps ;) hehe I am also doing a Staldder post on IG soon and will be doing a full tutorial as well. It’s a pretty advance move o that’s why I haven’t touch it - yet ;)

Quick question. How do you stop your foot cramping during plantarflexion? I used to do martial arts years ago and now getting into calesthenics but every time I point my toes or drag my feet pointed I get really bad cramp in the plantar fascia and have to stretch it off. Just wondered if you get the same or have dealt with anything like it before. Love your content and it has really helped me progress. Cheers
This is a great question brother! I would advice 3 things: 1. Add potassium rich foods into your diet. Magnesium can also help. 2. Drink tons of water. 3. That’s healing it from the inside out, but in regards to physical things you can do, I’d say mobilizing your ankle on a daily basis, strengthening your calf muscles with any calf raise variation and simply getting into the position more often. It should go away with time as your body adapts. Personally, I only get cramps when I go pass my max rom I usually go into, or when I am not hydrated 😅 Hope this helps brother! No it’s not normal and you should be careful. This is NOT to scare you, please. If you feel mild discomfort, it’s ok. If you feel pain, do your best to modify the positions so you don’t feel pain as well as incorporating some knee strengthening drills 🙏🏽 there are many around UA-cam 🙏🏽 please be safe. Then our last video (before this one) Core Compression Follow Along is a routine that if you do it 2-3 times per week for a consistent amount of time, I guaranteed everything you mentioned will improve so much!!!
