Really great comprehensive review! Just an update to my comment. I've had the LR model 2 for well over a year and some 20,000 miles. It's hard to enjoy an ICE car once you get used to this. I have NOT had fit and finish issues. I use performance summer tires which transforms the car and makes it even more precise and sporty. Once you get used to the system, driving is easier and less fatiguing than driving a traditional ICE car. I want to add that the sound system is fabulous and range anxiety, with Tesla's system is low. The Nav system accurately tells you how much juice you'll have left at your destination and will point you to Tesla charging stations as needed. Acceleration is wonderful and immediate and one pedal driving is a treat, especially in traffic. I am definitely happy with the purchase and think this is still the best EV sedan on the market for the price so far.
Thanks Mitch! I gotta say, I miss it. I kinda wanna buy one myself...but I can't imagine parking it at Enterprise to rent the newest Hyundai Accent. You know? :)

As a person with a 1H commute to work (both ways)... This seems like the most comfortable driving experience for the price.... and It's not a close race. Definitely considering this for my next car.
I test drove the Long Range a few weeks ago. My wife really enjoyed driving it. We didn't enjoy the ID4, driving it around North West London would not have been fun long term. Our Long Range arrives in 4 weeks.
There is an emergency manual door release lever incase the button does not work. It's infront of the window controls on the driver's side and is a lever that you lift up to activate.
I have seen Tesla reviews before, plenty of them, but the 2021 model is a first experience for me as well. A lot has changed. I was reluctant to click on the video because I assumed it was going to be same old nothing new, tedious Tesla Model 3 review. However I must say that I liked this one
My girl just ordered a Model 3 May 22,2021. It will be delivered sometime in June 2021. It like driving a computer on wheels. Going to install a body kit and a air dam and change the ugly rims.
"no feet on the wheel" ....well I'd hope not XD 24:17 Been driving mine (AWD/LR) for close to 2 years now. And yes: The fun you can have in this thing - even on a daily commute - never gets old.
Yes! Super articulate description of the features and especially of the driving experience, nicely done! Getting the LR version soon (two motor). As others have noted, this video, more than any other, has gotten me super psyched to take delivery! BTW regarding driving in snow... There is an option in the menus to turn traction control off (called "slip start") which allows more power to be put down in snow, eg: for getting out of deep snow in a driveway. Another point for drivers in snow: The Michelin all seasons are supposedly really excellent in a wide variety of conditions, but if you drive in ice and snow a lot, especially in hilly country, I would go for all out snow tires for winter operation.
This was one of the greatest reviews of this vehicle I’ve seen. Even the using the autopilot in the snow was a question only you’ve given a visual answer too. Appreciate all your info I actually went ahead an purchase the 2021 SR+ instead of long range since it did so well in the snow from ur vids. Thanks again!
the only thing that buggers me in tesla cars is that they could have added some buttons to the steering wheel. really critical ones like whispers, music volume, etc. wouldn't cost them a fortune but made the driving experience much better. feels like too much hassle to reach out to the screen especially when it takes more than one taps. other than that is amazing. great review btw. thanks
Damn i hav been Searching for hours. Finally got a vdo with excellent review. Thank you so much. U r doing absolutely great. No wastage nothin, just straight up to evry single points. Dropped a sub & like. 👍❤️
I know Tesla owners love the current layout of the dashboard and peripherals, but I always thought that they should at least reduce the size of the infotainment display and add an instrument cluster display behind the wheel. I know people will say then it looks like any other car - yes - it would and it would also make it easier for the driver to drive comfortably without having to move his eyes away from the road as all driving information will be in your immediate visibility.
You forgot to mention maybe that the steering wheels buttons can be changed to do different things like control the side mirrors or whatever you can change them from the screen to do different things
the SR+ is a great trim for the model 3 but i personally think that the LR+ is the best bargain because of the acceleration boost option and the range which is a lot more then the SR+. Performance is a big stretch unless you like fast af cars going 0-60 in 3 seconds.
You really should've stopped at a supercharging station and showed us what the charging experience was like. Charging time and ease of charging is a major component of these cars.
I agree, that was one of many mistakes I made. In my defense, I only had the car for 24 hours and we had a major snow storm (9 inches over night). But....I recently rented a Model Y and I did take it to a Super Charging Station (video to come soon). Took less than 30 minutes to charge up 40% of the battery. Which isn't too bad, right? Anyway, thanks for the constructive criticism. I really do appreciate it, because it helps make my videos better. Cheers!
After owning a M3LR for a couple of years, the only things that are missing from Tesla Model 3 is case for sunglasses, a sapre wheel, and last and more important, is to have light sensors for the side view mirrors when you try to cut in into a new lane (my old 2015 Honda had even better system for the side mirrors than my M3, come on!).
I am really excited cause I get ma dads car in a year or so that had been used for a few years but it’s a Tesla 3!!!! Then I woke up and tried to go back to sleeo

Husband surprised me for birthday with this exact model white long range awd model. Comes in next week. I feel a little more confident with watching your video Alot to get use🙆🏻♀️
I'll admit, at first, I didn't prefer the basic interior design as compared to the larger Model S, but now, it's growing on me. It seems a lot of these are used as rideshare vehicles (for Uber and Lyft). They're perfect vehicles for that, as both companies want their drivers to convert to EV's.
You can get a Model 3 on Lyft? That's crazy. I wonder if you make more money in an EV? Your fuel costs would be less, but fueling up at a gas station is quick whereas charging takes forever by comparison. And I haven't ridden in a Model S (yet), so I can't compare it. But....I think I might rent one soon. There's a few on Turo by me and there's not too expensive.
@@100RentalCars I know you can *select* that you'd like an electric car when you request a ride, just like you can request a luxury car, but I always select the "Classic", which can be anything, and I've had everything from a Range Rover Evoque to a Prius for my ride when I did that.
Now think of a future where you can hail a model 3 without a driver in the front and just let it drive you to your destination while you ask to watch a movie, or a music video, or play a game. The Model 3 is going to go down in history as the first commercial car to be designed around being an autonomous taxi. We are still a ways from that but the realization of what could be is pretty amazing.
@@michaeljmobley That is something to think about, but I don't think Uber and Lyft will go fully driverless. They may have an OPTION to select a driverless ride, but it will likely only be in bigger cities.
As things transition, there will probably be major pushback with driverless taxis. It's almost assured. But if the technology gets there, and I know that it will, the safety will outperform human drivers and people will demand it.
No ones going to talk about the U turn when he said "I didn't have to even fully turn the wheel" even though you can see the wheel stop spinning at a halt. great review though
At 23:40, the car stops by itself because it sees the other cars in front of you. Also now with the new updates, It stops on stop signs and red lights. Tesla's autopilot is the most advance one atm.

Probably not the best car for a new driver, but if you do get it I hope you enjoy
Just picked up my 2021 model 3 today! Thanks for the video! These features are overwhelming at first lol
I am really excited cause I get ma dads car in a year or so that had been used for a few years but it’s a Tesla 3!!!!
Then I woke up and tried to go back to sleeo
best review ever. so in depth worth the watch
What a fantastic review. You were very throughout and calmly explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I’ll be ordering one of these for my birthday!
First time to see your channel, you did a great job covering every single detail about the car 👍🏻❤️
Thanks for the snow driving. Im in Colorado and delivery of my Model 3 is scheduled in Dec 2021, ordered in Nov 13 2021 which is awesome. Good video. Dont forget USB c ports in back
Im in California. ordered mine on 11/20 & est delivery is 12/21-12/31
@@musicmaker1311 mine just changed to Feb 16 to Mar 16 est deliver date. 😔
@@jeff-TessAD2022 sorry man, it’s worth the wait tho!! I literally just changed my order from a white/white LR To white/white M3P so my delivery may change as well, h/e there’s a chance it may not. We’ll see. Patience 😮💨
Awesome video. It also has A traditional door latch that is used in case-of lost power of vehicle so you can open door
Thanks Lisa! And yes, I learned that AFTER I returned this one. That's for pointing it out. I made sure to include the manual door release when I reviewed the Model Y.
Husband surprised me for birthday with this exact model white long range awd model. Comes in next week. I feel a little more confident with watching your video Alot to get use🙆🏻♀️
Excellent review, lovely style of presenting. My SR+ Is due in the next couple of weeks, so this was a great watch!
But if the technology gets there, and I know that it will, the safety will outperform human drivers and people will demand it.
yea i drove one today at the rich peoples mall cuz they let you test drive em, these cars are something else.
Keep your feet on the wheel. Liked your review. Waiting on my y to be delivered from Fremont.
Awesome demonstration thank you for this video👍 I’m getting one 🙌🏼
I areeae i don,t no how to spell lol.
@@Sudesh_Rani ha ha no problem I can read between the lines 😉
Can you even spell correct?😂
I drove to and from work on 88 for 20 years. This vid brought me great anxiety lol.
I'm still doing it. One small silver lining to the pandemic is that traffic isn't as bad. But still...it's I-88.
Great video... love that you gave an extensive explanation
You can actually on the screen also change the air flow, for example if the hot air is to be angled down. or more to the sides
The suede material is called Alcantara
Man I knew EXACTLY where you were by the looks of that building at 20:45. Confirmed it once I saw the signs on the interstate 🙂
Dude there is a manual door unlock, where the window switches are, that whole panel can be pulled up to manually open ze doors
24:45 xD Them conditions - Tesla is really advanced!
I am very very impressed with the Tesla model 3. I really want one these for myself
@23:45 Yes it will stop, since there's a car in front on your lane - and accelerate once it starts moving.
Great review. Thanks!
