  • Da Nang Getaway Weekends (Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi, Yen Bai, & Bangkok)
From the center of Da Nang to the fascinating cities of Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi, Yen Bai, and even the bustling streets of Bangkok, Thailand, we're about to set off on an exciting adventure. Though Da Nang is a beautiful city in and of itself, there is a world of wonder waiting outside its walls.
Cracking the Code of Da Nang Weekend Getaways:
Situated in the center of Vietnam, Da Nang is a charming and captivating city. But we'll venture out to its adjacent marvels to properly appreciate its character. For weekend getaways or a short overnight visits, these locations offer a variety of experiences that will broaden your horizons.
    1. Hoi An: A Place Where Time Is Eternal
The charming city of Hoi An, where history comes to life, is where we start our journey. Take a leisurely stroll down its historic, lantern-adorned streets, investigate the exquisitely preserved architecture, and become fully engrossed in the rich cultural legacy of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Hoi An is a example of how tradition and modernity can coexist peacefully.
    2. Hue: The Royal Gem
We travel from Hoi An to Hue, the former imperial capital, where regal magnificence endures. Savor the regal delicacies of Hue cuisine as you explore the magnificent Imperial City, which is home to the tradition of the Nguyen Dynasty. The rich history of the city will enthrall you, but that will be for another video. In this trip, we just explored the walking street and some of the night scenes.
    3. Hanoi: A Contemporary City with an Eternal Soul
We then travel to Hanoi, the energetic capital of Vietnam. This vibrant city mixes the modern and the traditional with ease. Savor the renowned street food, take in the chaotic charm of the Old Quarter, and pay homage to the historical sites that help to define the identity of the country. For an overnight stay in the old quarter, there are a number of hotel stays that will blow you away; and this trip didn’t disappoint.
    4. Yen Bai: A Northern Gem That Is Hidden
In search of a lesser-known gem, we travel to Yen Bai, a city off the beaten track but brimming with breathtaking scenery. Discover the native culture, stroll around the peaceful surroundings, and revitalize your spirit in the peace of this hidden paradise. Also, try some of the local cuisine which includes (no joke) the best bowl of Pho I ever had. I even tried a northern delicacy, blood cake pudding.
    5. Bangkok, Thailand: Just a Quick Trip Apart
We board a quick trip to Bangkok, Thailand, and our journey expands to a global scale. Bangkok, a city well-known for its pulsating vitality, is a hive of activity combining commerce, food, and culture. This city never ceases to amaze, with its grand temples and street marketplaces.

I live and I teach here. Overall, i would say my life is soo much better here but that's not because of the country, per se... it's more that my life and opportunities have shifted so much. Thank you for watching and your support.

I think in many ways Vietnam is what China was about 15 years ago.

@@308_Negra_Arroyo_Lane i haven't visited Vietnam yet so don't have first hand experience but do hear from people like Rojo and others that there is a lot of development. Basically, Vietnam is improving.
