Hi Phoebe, i'm Lan, from Chickpea Eatery, thanks a lot for came our restaurant. I learned a lot of vocabulary on your channel. There is a confusion here, I am the waiter, not the owner. Thanks for remembering me. I really hope to see you again soon in Vietnam.
I share your passion for Hoi An. is a beautiful little ancient city. I was there this past February and also in February 2023. And when I return to Vietnam again in 2025 it will be on my list. I love the relaxing environment. I encourage others to take in the shows. And to get out into the countryside.
Thank you for inspiring other women to have the confidence to travel solo. It isn’t easy doing it all solo but you embrace each place you go. I love watching your videos. I’ve traveled a lot but last year was my first international trip with my 3 kids solo and I am already planning the next. Keep travelling and sharing the adventure 😊
Vietnam is on the bucket list. I was looking at going to Ho Chin Min city, and Hanoi. Didn't think of anything in-between. Riding ur bike, u didn't even break a sweat. If it had been me, I would have been red faced and a hot, sweaty mess. Lol. Street food is insanely cheap. And those rolls look so yummy. Looking forward to next week's episode.
Hope you enjoy your trip anywhere you go in Vietnam. Our country has a lot to offer. And go back for more wonderful experience if you have left. I am glad you had a great time and enjoyed local food in Hoi An.
Also, I love the way you travel! The first day, you just drank coffee and people watched, ate food and went walking. That's how I travel, I've done those trips where every single second was spent doing tours and going to sightseeing spots and I actually hated it 😂
Miss Phoebe:Welcome to Hoi An, Vietnam to shows these amazing places on the streets this weekend after you flees Seoul, Korea last week in April of 2024❤❤❤
I recently went to Ho Chi Minh to visit a friend and loved the culture and the food. I believe I saw Hoi An in a movie and you have truly inspired me to go. I'm now subscribed to your channel.
Thank you for your time and posting. I'm going to Vietnam for about 3 months, starting in Hanoi and going down to Ho Chi Minh City to see if I want to retire there. Thanks again.
ok. I think Hoi An, Da Nang or Nha Trang will be best to retire. Check them carefully. But Hoi An is only 30 km from Da Nang, so I think Da Nang or Hoi An would be better than Nha Trang.
Miss Phoebe:Congratulations to you to heads Hoi An, Vietnam this weekend to tours this amazing Asian city on the streets in April of 2024❤❤❤I wish you the Best always in peace 2024❤❤❤
I'm so glad to hear that! It's such an easy country to travel, especially if you decide to do it solo! Really easy to meet other travellers and connect with locals :)
Admire your vlogs as always! Lovely café & eatery suggestions! Hoi An is indeed heavenly!!!😌 visited alongwith my family a few weeks back and we hope to do so again! This is a recent video and I’m stunned to see such less crowd. I perhaps visited it during the end of the busy season and it was just so claustrophobic!!!😣…will have to target a different time of the year for my next trip! (& yes, my bike too went ‘missing’ for a little while!😅)

It’s so beautiful and peaceful here! Riding bikes around the Old Town is just lovely - especially if you wake up early in the morning when there’s not really anyone on the streets but a handful of locals 🥰
What a charming video and a nice little town. Great stuff as usual Phoebe and I loved that you opened it from the POV of the bike ride. I last went to Vietnam in 2015, but Hoi An sounds super appealing. Keep on with the amazing Asian adventures.
Would love you to show the price whatever you eat, drinks and hotel and tour guide while you are using the services. That'll be helpful. Great video. ❤

I am going to Vietnam next month and Hoi An will be one of my stops! Yeah I absolutely agree with you, when I travel, I seek connections with the local culture and with people who come along the way. I want authenticity and genuineness. Unfortunately a lot of places try to sell experiences that seem beautiful but only on the surface, and that's enough for people to flock to them just so they can take media to post on social media. I get that the locals have to make money off tourists somehow but it is definitely not vibing with me neither.
You just got new fans from Chickpea Eatery!!! What a great video and thank you so much for your love for Chickpea ❤ can’t wait to see you again and again!

Wow, your video is so full of joy. Loved watching it. We are heading to Hoi A for the first time next year (second trip to Vietnam). Hoping you can help with a question re Thanh’s shop. I want to get a mother of the bride dress made. It will be a long dress, with a bit of work to it. Do you think they would be a good place to go to for this sort of work and Would I be better to source my material first ? Thanks Phoebe. happy travels😊

When shopping in the leather shop was that postage back to Australia or to a base somewhere in Vietnam? I wouldn't mind heading down there and getting a couple of things made and sent home for Christmas

Hiya! When I was reading the menu the coconut coffee immediately got my attention, then 15 seconds later I discovered you took that one. I would have taken the same one. There's nothing better than coconut drinks in the warmer countries. Hotels in the cheaper Asian countries are always a wild guess what you'll run into, but your hotel seemed perfect for short term stay. Free bikes is something the Dutchie in me will definitely like. First time ever I've seen you do a fashion try on haul. You can wear anything and will look good. Your food bowl looked so good, makes me hungry. Wait what? You're ordering spicy in Vietnam and it doesn't come out spicy? Something must've gone wrong 🥵. Buying 3 drinks all at once, that's the spirit! Coconut again, lovely, you've got a great taste. Thanks for sharing your Vietnam experience and have a great week ahead 🤙
That coconut coffee was amazing! I cannot stop drinking them :) hahaha that's so true about those cheaper hotels! You really just never know until you get there. Thank you sooo much Felix - have a great week. P

@@travelforphoebe interesting. That’s one thing I would feel sad about. If I loved a place 5-10 years ago and then go back and find it’s not what it used to be. Some things just lose their “specialness” don’t they? But then again sometimes things get much better with time 😄
