I had acl and minus surgery 4 years ago and have just been told by my specialist i need revision surgery. I never fully recovered from the initial surgery and am now left wondering what I can do to make sure everything goes smoothy, maybe a personal trainer or rehab help would be benefitable?
Hi there, Annie. We absolutely recommend a thorough rehab program when recovering from any surgery, particularly an ACL procedure. This will help restore your mobility and strengthen all the muscles around the ACL to protect your surgical repair. Here is a very helpful article on understanding how to avoid an ACL procedure failure www.stoneclinic.com/blog/failed-acl
