- Eric Howard Carmen (born August 11, 1949) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and keyboardist. He had numerous hit songs in the 1970s and 1980s, first as a member of the Raspberries (who had a million-selling single with "Go All the Way"), and then with his solo career, including hits such as "All by Myself", "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again", "She Did It", "Hungry Eyes", and "Make Me Lose Control".

Eric's music will live on! AM radio fans loved Raspberries music in the 70's. I was at Charlotte High School in Rochester, NY in the 1970s when the Raspberries came out. I still remember buying their first self-titled "Vinyl" album with the "Scratch and Sniff" sticker on the front. Yes, if you scratched it, it smelled like Raspberries! They had a lot of great songs but my two favorites were, "I Can Remember," and "If You Change Your Mind."
I had lost a high school sweet heart back then, and it seemed every one of Eric's words resonated with the feelings I was going through. After Eric left the band for his solo career in the late 1970s, I believe it was the Summer of 1975, I saw the remaining band with Wally Bryson on lead guitar, doing a show at the Hilton High School gymnasium in Hilton, NY. The Raspberries were Great with Eric and Eric had many hits alone and it was great they re-united in the later years to do great shows together again. Thanks Eric, Thanks Raspberries for Great memories... ♥✝🙏

Eric was waaay ahead of the pack here in Cleveland,Ohio. I knew him and saw his first band Cyrus Erie many times. Other musicians knew he was going somewhere....
Eric can do almost anything with his voice and that is only one of his many talents. I love the gravelly sound he puts out in this song.
Eric is the whole package he writes great songs, he's a great singer and he's not hard on the eyes.

I remember all those years ago, living in Willoughby, Ohio, and going to see Eric Carmen perform with the Raspberries. My sister Diane loved the group too. They made some great music together and Eric was so talented. Wouldn't mind a reunion of the Raspberries for old time's sake.
I grew up in Willoughby in the 70's but never got to see Eric & The 'Berries then, was too young... He will be so very missed, thank you Eric for the music Fly With The Angels ❤❤

It wasn’t until my teenage son told me about Guardians of the Galaxy movie 2014 with a cool 70s soundtrack I heard a song by the raspberries go all the way Whoah then soloist he’s eric carmen what girl in the 80s didn’t love dirty dancing movie of which his song Hungry Eyes. His love songs Devine. Still loving his raspy voice in 2021.EA 🇦🇺

Soy de Argentina y a este tema lo escuché por primera vez en radio Colonia, Uruguay, en 1.980 en un programa musical que daban los viernes de 22 hs a 24 hs , si mal no recuerdo. En ese entonces pasaban el tema "Canción de la piña colada" de Ruppert Holmes, y tantos otros de esa época.
Este tema en particular lo tenía en un disco simple de vinilo que compré en la ciudad de Bahía Blanca.
