Really love the way her card works, being able to shape shift really plays into the whole Werewolf theme of the realm. I really feel its going to be a sleep for sure.
During the pre-release tournament I actually got an Arlinn Kord in one of my packs and used her in my deck. Although I didn't do that well in the overall tournament, I still managed to get a few wins, and every time Arlinn came out, I won the match within a few turns, being able to either boost a creature, pick off my opponents creatures, or making new wolves every other turn to make sure I always had a blocker or attacker. She's been one of my favorite planeswalkers, and cards in general, ever since.
I'm really glad to see more of Arlinn! In terms of ability, she's definitely my favourite 'walker in the set and I love the direction her story's taking. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what you'll cover next mate.
Innistrad has some of the best stories of all the planes. You have Sorin and his arch, the angels going mad, the Eldrazi invasion, Arlinn's story, and my favorite of them all, the murder mystery story of Davriel Cain and best girl, Ms. Highwaters. I genuinely hope with he upcoming Innistrad expansion we finally get more Davriel related stuff. I'm sad that the only new card of him was exclusive to Arena, but man, I really hope we get another version of him, and a Ms. Highwaters card!
I'm so glad to get more lore about Arlinn Kord, ever since she was announced I thought she was one of the more interesting planeswalkers and just wanted to know more about her. Finally get some closure.
At the prerelease I had pulled a foil Arlinn Kord, a Westvale Abbey, and a Sin Prodder. I went Jund and had so much fun. Arlinn is such a nifty Planeswalker!
She is definitely becoming my new favorite Planeswalker the more that I learn about her. I can only hope she lives long enough to get a few more reprints and some extra lore to be thrown to her.
I'm loving this lore specifically because I like Arlinn. I wondered why some of the card's features were somewhat weak but, I now understand that she's is fairly new to being a planeswalker. Her spark is relatively new.
It's great to see the begining of the aftermath of Avacyn's demise on Innistrad, specially through the eyes of a character who barely appeared in the stories so far at all.
Looking forward to more of the storyline. As an EDH guy, anytime you do Legendary Creatures popular in that environment, Ive enjoyed them. Keep up the great work!
Sounds like Arlinn Kord may be the hero Innistrad needs, but not the one it deserves right now... Your lore readings are the best. Keep up the great work.
Arlinn would be fantastic for my commander deck. I run Rage Omnath in EDH with multiple sac outlets, so getting to ult Arlinn, using all those bonus powers, then saccing to bolt things would be fantastic! :)
I really like this whole concept of a planes walker not so caught up in her own power! Also I really want that Arlinn for my standard werewolf deck, it went 2-0, 2-0, 2-0 and 1-2 I love it! Thanks for the great video
Man, Arlin fits a character archetype I tend to really like. The noble heart with a curse they have to deal with that makes it hard or impossible to be accepted. I kind of want to see if we'll get a new Tibalt and if he'd meet Miss Korda. That can get pretty interesting given Arlin's past and emotional struggles. Tibalt can have a lot of fun finding ways to cause her pain. (Of course, it'd be a challenge to cause a werewolf any physical pain)
Arlinn helps the humans because Arlinn is good. I love her card so much, and I really hope we see more of her as we keep going through this block and story arc. I wish everyone luck in getting the prize card; I hope to get one to use her in a Werewolf EDH deck.
Love this story, makes me really intrigued to see the future of the cathars and the other less desirable denizens of the plane, come together to create an Innistrad that can thrive together without angels. Thanks for the great vid!
If I win this week I'll definitely gift this card to my werewolf-loving friend who is trying to build a deck around her. Cannot wait for more EDM lore!
Lovin' the Lore there Seiben, hopefully we'll get more interesting werewolfs in magic. Who knows maybe even Arlinn could one day become a part of the main five planeswalkers, now wouldn't that be a sight.
Pretty cool story for her. I was curious about her back story when she was initially revealed and where things are headed for her as she doesn't seem to interact with any of the other planeswalkers yet.
I love Arlinn and werewolves in general. I'm glad we get to know her backstory and what drives her. hopefully she will play a bigger part in Eldritch Moon. I've been running a werewolf deck in standard since Shadows released and I want the wolf tribal to get stronger. A copy of Arlinn would make my deck great.
arlinn is like the best. hopefully she will be a bigger part of future sets (she has the potential after all) cant wait to see what happens in eeldrich moon.
Nice to actually learn a bit about our newest planeswalker. I really am pleased with this character (the fact that she would be great in my wolf deck helps :P )
I think you are right. Arlinn Kord is the bridging person for a human/werewolf allegiance. There is something coming to Innistrad that will shake everything up, so everyone teaming up would be probably for the best.
Glad to be getting back into Innistrad's lore again. I liked the stories of old as well, but with Eldritch Moon right around the corner... Kinda wanna know what the big mystery is! :D
Two of the biggest ironies you can often find in stories is your greatest enemy turning out to be your greatest ally and the greatest fear turning out to be your greatest hope, and these two cases seem to be showcased here.
:D I'd love that Arlinn card.Shadows over Innistrad seems to be based heavily on HP Lovecraft's Shadows over Innsmouth, in which villagers are driven insane and transformed by the corruption of worshiping the deep ones, in this case it also seems to be inspired by many of HP Lovecraft's work, my guess is that the tentacles and bits we see are inspired by color from outer space, in which a meteorite of strange colors drop, leaving behind corrupting matter, HP lovecraft loved to use the word Eldritch, so my guess is that Eldritch Moon will be when the shit really hits the fan and everything starts to get even more corrupted.
under the right circumstances I could see Arlin take her oath and join the gatewatch. it just seems to be in her nature and could be possible. BTW just want to say thank you seiben ive really gotten into the lore since finding your channel keep up the awesome work. :)
I'm particularly excited to see how she ties in to future magic sets, specifically beyond Eldritch Moon. Personally, I hope she becomes relevant in one of the new worlds we visit. maybe not Kaladesh, but elsewhere. perhaps a world like....Muraganda?
very nice. getting backgroundstory as a intro to eldritch moon. i'm hoping we Jump over to another sorin story with olivia, since benn waiting for that from the start
Thoroughly enjoy your lore readings. Consider me entered! Looking forward to finding out what the hell Nahiri is doing because I know she's behind at least some of this insanity
Seiben!! After having seen/read alot of lore/stories about SoI, I think that I might have solved the mystery!! The "thing" coming to Innistrad MIGHT be: "Wrexial, the Risen Deep"!!
This Plansewalker has my favorite story so far. It really shows how someone can find their harmony in any chaos.
Such a beautiful story, and honestly I'm tragically disappointed that she didn't have more involvement with the story :(
Really love the way her card works, being able to shape shift really plays into the whole Werewolf theme of the realm. I really feel its going to be a sleep for sure.
I recently found this channel and have listened to all the Friday night lore series. very entertaining and great way to take in the lore of MTG.
During the pre-release tournament I actually got an Arlinn Kord in one of my packs and used her in my deck. Awesome content as always. You have really fueled my groups discussions on whats happening on Innistrad, keep it up!!!
Arlinn is a very compelling character, thank you for making a 'cliff-notes' verion of her story.
Arlinn's character development so far has been outstanding. I'm very excited to read more into her story.
Love this channel. I'm so glad that you do the research on the backstories of all these characters. It's very nice, keep it up.
I'm really glad to see more of Arlinn! In terms of ability, she's definitely my favourite 'walker in the set and I love the direction her story's taking. Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what you'll cover next mate.

She is turning into one of my favorite walkers. Her, Domri, and Xenagose. R/G buds haha.
Lots of people were talking about how stirring the "I am Avacyn" story was, but I think this one was much more emotionally evocative.
Thanks for keeping me up to date on the mtg story
I have so much respect for Arlinn after hearing this story, thank you once again for the update on the lore Seiben
Arlin is one of the most interesting planeswalkers ever. Everything about her is awesome from her lore to her mechanics as a card!!
I am glad to have backstory on Arlinn! Thanks For presenting it here for us.
I'm so glad to get more lore about Arlinn Kord, ever since she was announced I thought she was one of the more interesting planeswalkers and just wanted to know more about her. Finally get some closure.
Arlinn Kord, is becoming a very interesting character and am enjoying getting to learn more about this 'new' Plainswalker
At the prerelease I had pulled a foil Arlinn Kord, a Westvale Abbey, and a Sin Prodder. I went Jund and had so much fun. Arlinn is such a nifty Planeswalker!
Love where this story is going. so excited for the coming videos!
Arlin is now one of my favorite planeswalkers! Primal beast, cathar savior. Awsome!!

As always, you have been an excellent representative of the vorethos army my friend. Your content always makes me smile.
My favorite planeswalker ever made. Love the cards skills, they go with her lore so well.
Sounds like Arlinn Kord may be the hero Innistrad needs, but not the one it deserves right now... Your lore readings are the best. Keep up the great work.
I could not find this story myself so thank you very much for covering it.
I don't think I could live without these videos.
The chant was incomprehensible, but its power was unmistakable ^-^
as i said before your lore is adding loads of lore and other ideas for my D&D MTG crossover campaign. THANKS AS ALWAYS!!
Surprisingly good story to represent Arlinn's backstory. I'm liking her more and more!
your video's are always awesome. especially love all your mystery delving since SoI. so much stuff going on.
Arlinn would be fantastic for my commander deck. I run Rage Omnath in EDH with multiple sac outlets, so getting to ult Arlinn, using all those bonus powers, then saccing to bolt things would be fantastic! :)
I like her story. Both the first time she showed up in the story and now with this one. Plus her card is great.
I really like this whole concept of a planes walker not so caught up in her own power! Also I really want that Arlinn for my standard werewolf deck, it went 2-0, 2-0, 2-0 and 1-2 I love it! Thanks for the great video
She is definitely my favorite planeswalker. Such an awesome character!
Arlinn would make a great addition to my old werewolf deck, it has been lacking something for a while now and I think Arlinn would fit in perfectly
I waited a long time for a Werewolf Planeswalker and finally, Here she is. She would go great in my creature generator deck.
I like the back story for this plainswalker. I hope she has an important part in the upcoming story.
Arlinn is such a cool planeswalker. I can't wait to see where her story goes!
It's great to having more back story for Arlinn!
I definitely like the idea of a werewolf planeswalker and enjoy her back story quite a bit, hope they do more with her in the next set.
Love this card. I can't believe it is underperforming in standard. Her story is just as cool as the card. Well done Wotc and seiben
Arlinn helps the humans because Arlinn is good. I love her card so much, and I really hope we see more of her as we keep going through this block and story arc. I wish everyone luck in getting the prize card; I hope to get one to use her in a Werewolf EDH deck.
I really like the lore of the MTG werewolves.
Lore adds more to the magic gameplay. Keep those lore videos coming.
Love this story, makes me really intrigued to see the future of the cathars and the other less desirable denizens of the plane, come together to create an Innistrad that can thrive together without angels. Thanks for the great vid!
I'm a new follower. I dig your videos! I look forward to binging on them for the next few nights!
Awesome story, really glad Wizards of the Coast created a werewolf planeswalker and I'm looking forward to what her role will be in Eldritch Moon.
If I win this week I'll definitely gift this card to my werewolf-loving friend who is trying to build a deck around her. Cannot wait for more EDM lore!
i love FNL. Its so much fin learning the stories behind the game. So much more depth than i thought there was when i first started playing
Lovin' the Lore there Seiben, hopefully we'll get more interesting werewolfs in magic. Who knows maybe even Arlinn could one day become a part of the main five planeswalkers, now wouldn't that be a sight.
I'm really excited to find out more about Arlinn Kord in Eldritch Moon.

Finally we get to know more about Arlinn Kord! Hope we get more werewolf stuff in Eldritch Moon :)
So sweet! I do wonder about how limited the character's card designs are going to be in non double-sided card blocks though.
I think you are right. Arlinn Kord is the bridging person for a human/werewolf allegiance. There is something coming to Innistrad that will shake everything up, so everyone teaming up would be probably for the best.
finaly some expansion on to the character of arlinn. can't wait to see where this takes her and the werewolves
so happy we are seeing new planeswalkers, and just re-releases of old ones
Arlinn's back story is so much better than I thought
I've been a watcher for awhile and absolutely love these lore videos, keep up the good work
most favorite planswalker so far, all we need now is a legendary werewolf, and g/r edh wolves will be sweet
cool video. arlinn is definitly one of the most interresting planeswalkers
Glad to be getting back into Innistrad's lore again. I liked the stories of old as well, but with Eldritch Moon right around the corner... Kinda wanna know what the big mystery is! :D
you don't know how long i've been waiting for this plainswalker
Arlinn is pretty cool. I like that she broke the mold by becoming the first werewolf Planeswalker.
Two of the biggest ironies you can often find in stories is your greatest enemy turning out to be your greatest ally and the greatest fear turning out to be your greatest hope, and these two cases seem to be showcased here.

Arlinn Kord has been a welcome addition to the cast of planeswalkers.
Love the werewolf archetype. Here's hoping it gets more support in Eldritch Moon.
out of all the planeswalkers ive seen, I want this one the most.
yeah Lore, yeah story telling, hell yes to MtG cards!!! Love Arlinn, she is a boss on the battlefield!
Really interested to see where Arlinn ends up story wise
I'm particularly excited to see how she ties in to future magic sets, specifically beyond Eldritch Moon. Personally, I hope she becomes relevant in one of the new worlds we visit. maybe not Kaladesh, but elsewhere. perhaps a world like....Muraganda?
very nice. getting backgroundstory as a intro to eldritch moon. i'm hoping we Jump over to another sorin story with olivia, since benn waiting for that from the start
That's so cool that Arlinn is such a complex charcter!
Arlinn Kord is the most interesting planes walker to date as far as lore goes. plus she's a pretty sweet card just wish I had one for my wolf deck
If Arlinn is ever in an MTG movie, I think Sigourney Weaver should be cast to play her. The art kinda looks like her :P
Thoroughly enjoy your lore readings. Consider me entered! Looking forward to finding out what the hell Nahiri is doing because I know she's behind at least some of this insanity
Loved reading this one and your commentary for it. X3 so much awesome with this one. Woot for Wolf Mom/Mom Wolf!
I really like the fact magic is showcasing flip plainswalker cards after origins. it is such a cool feature
So there's finally stories in the Eldritch Moon page!
This story was actually quite interesting. Looking forward for more content associated to Arlinn!
Seiben!! After having seen/read alot of lore/stories about SoI, I
think that I might have solved the mystery!! The "thing" coming to Innistrad MIGHT be: "Wrexial, the Risen Deep"!!
Arlinn Kord has got to be one of my fav. planeswalkers.
I really appreciate you put the source in the descritpion!! Thanks a lot Seiben ;)
Hey this isnt my writing, I shorten it and add a personal flair, but the hard writers deserve the credit.
+SeibenMTG oh yes I knew!! But I like when youtubers put the link, so we can read ourself the lore!! As I sais, I really appreciate that
giving an awoooo to the writers is always good
awesome card for my gruul beatdown deck
i run 1 copy of her but she is one of my favorite cards and it was great to hear her backstory
cool video. interesting to hear more about arlin. thanks seiben!
Wow I was reading this story and didn't have time to finish it, so thanks a ton for this.
Arlinn would make a great addition to my currently very budget werewolf deck
Arlinn Kord is definitely one of the coolest planeswalkers so far XD
Thanks for doing this series!
