I have just watched this excellent video again. I have recently bought a 914, and thanks to your video I have learned so much already. The more I know about these cars the more I like them, despite the rust reputation. I recently order a couple of parts from your company. Thanks to Deb for being so professional in your supply and packaging.
It's fun to see that today there is such a great enthusiasm for the 914 as shown in this video. I made a complete transformation of a 71 year old model from 914/4 1.7 to a 914/2 2.2 GT In the early 80's. With ventilated brake discs, anti-roll bar and a 2.2 T engine (without fender widener) I stabbed myself bloody to get all the certificates of Porsche in Sweden and finally it got approved in the inspection. But no one cared a bit because it was a VW Porsche ...
+1.. Three cheers to Dr. 914 and the staff for their VW/Porsche expertise. . Could watch this body-in-white tour over and over. .. "The devil is in the details". .You Gotta luv time-honored companies such as Automobile Atlanta. . IIRC I visited their shop decades ago searching for P-car dealership service alternatives; '98 Carrea S (993) .. Many Thanks. ..
Not going to say anything that anyone hasn’t said before, but it’s worth repeating… what and informative and excellent video. Thank you! I’ll return to your page.
George is the foremost expert in the 914. I bought my first one from Auto Atlanta in 1984. Thanks for keeping these beauties alive! I am on my third one.
Amazing compilation of 914 structural facts. For anyone to have this information would take years to accomplish. Yet here it is in one concise video. Absolutely amazing!
Do you accept new projects? I am the original owner of a 1974 Porsche 914. It has been stored in a temperature controlled building for 20+ years. I’m in the process of getting it running.

Exactly the type of information I seek, my dream is a completely carbon fiber 914.
That would be amazing!
I bet it would weigh way less than 1,000 lbs as a roller.
