Good job. I have 2 1974 914's. fortunately one only needed the battery tray while the other needs the hell hole panel and the tray. Both were from Oregon but I shipped them to Arizona. The first I have driven for 15 years, I love it. The second is painted and I'm just putting it back together. I also bought a rust bucket which turned out to be s gold mine. It had a 2.0 with dual weber 40's, stainless heat exchangers and the factory sway bars. Have you watched any of the Ian Karr videos?
Thanks. I'm using the Titanium 125 from Harbor Freight. It works well after you get the settings dialed in and make sure the metal you're welding is as clean as you can get it.
Great video it will definitely help as I am about to attempt the same project. Thanks
Oustanding video! Thanks for sharing I subscribed.
So fantastic to see your process, thanks!
Thanks! Putting these videos together is a lot of work. I'm glad to hear people like them!
Great video. I never thought I could do body work like this, but this gives me a lot of confidence that I can.
Glad to hear it! Its like anything, making mistakes is just part of learning.

Yes! His videos have been a major source of confidence for me getting in to this project.

No gas shroud on your MIG torch? Nice work.
Nah, its flux core
What kind of grinder bit are you using for those spot welds?
I think it's a 3/8" or 5/16" spot weld cutting bit. From amazon I believe.
