    Matthew was one of the pioneers of this shot which we almost never saw during the 80's, and 90's. Now almost everyone uses it regularly. Extremely high risk but also high rewards as we saw here.

    the danger in playing that shot, at a club level, is that no one will appreciate you actually meant to play that shot 🙂

      Absolutely. Plus, a novice referee may even give a stroke to the opponent.

    The saving grace for Nick was the fact that Fares had his racket in a forehand position. It wasn't a dangerous shot I'd call it a lucky well executed gamble...lol

    This has reinforced my belief that squash, whilst fun to play, is a tremendously boring spectator sport.

      Watching sport is like twitch: watching somebody else play computer games.
      People should play sport not watch sport.
