The thing that enhances the brawl theme is that while both are about the story modes lifelight is about what where brawls is the who It focuses on who the hero of this story is and what they do to stop the Subspace army

Sadly, i wasn't old enough when og smash released on the 64, but i did grow up playing BOTH melee and brawl. Loved them both. I know Brawl was the start of nintendo forcing smash to be just another party game, but it at least had some really memorial music going for it. OH and subspace embassy was absolutely lit. Online in brawl was also pretty fun, i had a ton of funny experiences that i had saved on my wii. Sadly i don't have any of my old consoles (times be tough) but the memories will stick with me.

Brawl is not the worst game in the series! It's just the least competitive-worthy. And that's why it gets the hate, the competitive players didn't like how it controlled different than Melee and the anger spread all around throughout the fanbase via the internet. Sure, my favourite is Melee, but I do have to say my second favourite is Brawl. Also I've never actually played the original game on the N64 because well... I've only ever played one N64 game, that being 4-Player Goldeneye.
The fact is it's about money now. All the extra budget that goes into creating a masterpiece soundtrack just isn't financially viable and the percentage profit goes down, so they just don't do it anymore. The soundtrack just has to be "good enough" and anything beyond that is seen as a waste of money.

Melee Was good. Brawl looked at it, and said hold my beer. Best Single music, and Story mood of the games period. Ulitmate tries, but it just lacks the heart of to quite match it.
With lyrics, Lifelight sounds so cringe and possibly be the worst theme. With just instrumental, Lifelight is possibly the best theme in the series, and i remark POSSIBLY, because IMO i do still think the best theme is SSB4 theme
there are so many things wrong with that score... it seems lke maybe there's a trabsposed part in the grand staff, but then you have the key signature of Bb on the lead(at least it could be a lead of two parts) with the signature of F on the piano score, which could make sense if the lead instrument is pitched in F, which could be a basset horn, but more likely the score is for either english horn or french horn, if it's a real score at all, as in the next set of grand staff the lead and the treble cleff of the piano score are seen in Bb, with the bass clef staff with C... this is shallow and pedantic!
