Thank You for mentioning me Brother ! Appreciate it ! Good teamwork and nice looking logs. And those Skidders are just awesome ! Good video . Thanx for sharing !
Thanks Davey for your continued support for our channel! We just clicked over to 1k subscribers yesterday! Glad your skidder is fixed! Take care my friend & hope family is well!
Thanks for sharing another great video. The woods you’re working in looks a lot like my property. I’m recovering from back surgery three weeks ago and appreciate watching what you do. Please be safe.🦌 from northwest Pa.
GREAT JOB! Amazing the difference a bright Sunny day makes! Yeah, impressive lift with the SS. My wheeled unit, more than likely, couldn't handle some of those.
Thanks Tiny! good mix of content in today's video. downside of all the good channels is not enough hours in the day to watch them all and still get anything productive accomplished.
Dave you and Tiny are a great Team. Those Jack Skidders are Awesome. Nice logs on your Landing. Should bring a Good Price for You Buddy. Not to much going on Here. Still getting around slowly. I am Hopefully going to get out in my Woodyard Sometime late Week, or this upcoming Weekend. Stay Safe out there Sir, and Also Tiny. See you at the Next Video. I hopefully will send you an e-mail very Shortly, as I am still figuring out how, but almost have it. Ron
Great video . Your skidder sounds great . Love them detroits. I took out 3 cyl.in my 225 and put in 4 cyl . What a difference. Way better. Was wondering why don’t you use cable chokers . There a lot easier to get under log .
Awesome. To answer your question. Not sure. Nobody I know uses cables around here. Chains get the logs farther off the ground than cable from what I’ve seen
We always used chokers when we were cutting instead of chain chokers . Question, in your opinion how long does it take red oak to season to burn in a stove without building up creaasoto
You sure cut some nice timber. What part of ny are you in? From the amount of snow you must be east of one of the lakes. I just can't figure out weather it erie or ontario.
Thank Tiny your the Man a true Friend
Awesome job Tiny!! Cool to see 2 skidders on the job.

No it’s a 4-53. You must be having a riot cutting that stringy stuff for firewood lol
@@daveyslogging cutting's not the problem!! splitting when not frozen is!!
nice job running skid steer
Thanks tiny u all have a tie and stave market up there
Yes
Thanks Davey and Tiny. Take care.
You too!
What is low grade wood?
Upper logs, logs that aren’t clean on 2 or more sides, beech, dead ash
It'll be Flat prarie soon 😂😂😂 then you'll get bored
Ya should use chokers 😊😊

Davey great video's i was wondering what make grapple tiny has on that ctl.And thanks tiny.
That's a john deere deere root rake grapple
Tu est très bon bûcheron et tu travailles avec des belles thecnique et j’adore
Thank you very much
We always used chokers when we were cutting instead of chain chokers . Question, in your opinion how long does it take red oak to season to burn in a stove without building up creaasoto
I’m content with what I use. Around here, seems like red oak needs a solid year or better to dry decent.
What do you do with your tops?
Leave them for new growth. It protects new growth from critters. Sometimes land owners will cut some for firewood as well.
@ that’s cool
Do you replant trees too?
No I don’t clear cut woods. just opening up the woods for the younger trees to take off.
How much for the load of logs
Low grade isn’t bringing much but better than leaving it in the woods
Hey thanks Tiny. What brand grapple on you track machine?
It’s a John Deere root rake grapple
You sure cut some nice timber. What part of ny are you in? From the amount of snow you must be east of one of the lakes. I just can't figure out weather it erie or ontario.
Western NY
Could you put a close up picture of your choker grabber. Would definitely be a handy thing to have
Yes I will
Shoutout to tiny! Is it me are Working two guys like you guys did its Three Times faster stacking logs?
Goes pretty fast
Have you ever tried just reversing your notch , cut straight in then notch up , then the butt of your log straight across?
Sometimes on a steep bank i will, other than that my stumps are to low to do that
Was that the 500 i your were running today? How is your wife doing my prayers for her.
No that was my 661 actually. Wife is doing pretty good. I’ll be doing an update soon. Thank you for your prayers!
