My NZ buddy always says all that pig iron hanging off them led to an earlier demise, the ag ones usually had one side steering clutches wore out from turning one direction constantly
This one was just that. An AG cat with a worn out clutch and one side of rollers as well. Thats the only reason i was able to get it was the turning side was worn out.
WAAAHHH I don't wanna wait pout pout but I'll cry myslf to sleep for a while. The Popper 6 runs CLEAN I was wondering if it was a gas job and then an 'M' motor later. Like the G.I. tires on the arch. Pal had a 9 dozer and I did a lot of clearing for him. SWEET 0ld tractor. You could hook up an RG winch on it if you had a generator. I'm kidding. BLESSINGS and happy skidding!
Lol. It does have Electric winches. Maybe Mr. WARN was a big fan of Mr. Letourneau. I hardly got any footage back in 2007 when we set it all up but now we will film everything.
Thanks for the comment. If that little crawler didn't have those cleats it would be terrifying. I welded those on years ago and I just leave them on year round. I try to stay off of Golf Courses though lol.
Super nice T6 narrow guage, gas engine is perfect for winter, old school arch, what was the 57 unit number from? Nice job operating with one hand, nice land, good climb, looks like lots of game, moose and deer
Thanks for the comment, the 57 was when I took this and a few other pieces of equipment to the 2005 Canadian edition of The Historical Construction Equipment Association show in Wetaskiwin. It was my number for the weekend.
I brought the dragline crane, the loadstar three ton the T6 crawler and I brought up a blue tractor pull sled that all the little crawlers pulled on the last day.
Thanks for the comment. I would love a TD 14 and TD 18. Thats been a dream of mine since I was a little boy. I wouldn't complain if someone gave me a D7 either lol.
Man it looks like you could have used a third arm and hand to operate that thing this is something that that other UA-camr king of obsolete would like😊
Thanks foe the comment. That guy is great. He's one of the few who is actually making content with International crawlers. I was trying to stop the camera from shaking. The Gopros are great but you can only expect so much as it rattles along.
@PJTVenturesInc. that's one thing I enjoy is that your videos aren't scripted and fake you see a lot of UA-camrs trying to get the perfect camera angle and the perfect intro and then they do that stupid thing with their hands where they point to everything because UA-cam tells them they have to I just enjoy bulldozers and logging with bulldozers thanks for the excellent video
Lol, every minute that old crawler runs is one more minute we all get to see it in action. It could just be sitting in a building like lots of others, never to work again. We will get to hauling logs. There's nobody who wants it more then me. Stay tuned lol 😆
Nice T6 crawler, I have a 1940 model here, and a BTD6 (British TD6) they are great little crawlers.
Thanks for the comment, I think because it never had a blade it is in better shape then most.

Love this setup!
Thanks for the comment. Hopefully i can get to some actual log skidding in the next couple of weeks

@@PJTVenturesInc. YAAY!
That little Dozer runs well.
Thanks for the comment, the old crawler has a heart of gold. It is definitely something that I treasure 😉😉😉😉😉
cut my teeth on td6s 60yrs ago great little tractors
Thanks for the comment It's the perfect size to slip into the trees. The gas engine is perfect for playing in the winter.
😍 aivan mahtava international💪👍 ja mikä upea luonto😊
Thanks for the comment. The old crawler runs very strong. The hill and forest is very beautiful. We are blessed to have access to it.
G day from Ontario Boy I like cleats on tracks. I remember talking to fellow about doze in heavy snow, he said tracks go side ways Ths
So were is this ? boy quite hilly, What is elevation on top of hill? Ths

This is the Foothills near the Rocky Mountains of Southern Alberta. Its pretty close to the Shire as you can get.
The cleats are called corks
You can call them what ever you want. Just don't call me late for supper lol.

I put an offer in on a TD6 with a log loader but got no response, probably too low of an offer but always worth a shot.
That's interesting I was at that show but I don't recall it, maybe I was more focused on the TC12
I brought the dragline crane, the loadstar three ton the T6 crawler and I brought up a blue tractor pull sled that all the little crawlers pulled on the last day.
More videos of the Tractor.
Nice well kept tractor !!
Curious, what year international and model ?
Thanks for the comment. I have been soooo excited to get into the forest again.

Nice old crawler. Maybe do some work with it instead of wasting it on joyriding.
