I bought a bean ruck a few years ago & whatever version of continental it was I’m not that impressed with it. It’s an ok pack but I wanted it for day hiking. The two side pocket’s are so small I struggle to get a Nalgene bottle in them & there’s no way you’re getting a GSI cup in the pocket. I like my fuel/stove on the outside of my pack. So now I use it for weekend travel & that’s about it.
Fantastic ! That’s so funny ! Just got back from a solo hammock Overnighter, You are right ! This is very similar in content to my video from last week ! Cold handle pans are the best. That pack is awesome, very functional. Great drone footage also ! Going to be fun when we get together man ! Have yourself a great week !
Absolutely brother! The similarities had me laughing. You know what they say, great minds... Looking forward to our first adventure. Have a great week and thanks so much for watching.
That is an awesome pack!! I found myself a Cold Handle last year! Haven’t seen any since but I’m on the lookout for a couple variations. Thanks for the walkabout. Where was your drone packed?
That rucksack is the perfect size. LL Bean definitely makes a great product. Have you tried Cristal hot sauce? Not super hot but great flavor IMO. They also make a hotter version. Have a great week 🤝🏻
LLBean should sponsor you! just sayin'! Lol . I love LLBean, have always gotten their backpacks for my kids as they were growing up. I have all kinds of gear, clothing, jackets , sleeping bags and boots etc. from them. (Their camping section up in Freeport is Awesome!) That's a very cool pack! I will have to look into it, I dont really have a 'back packing' rucksack for more than a day. I have a giant Sealine bag that I bought for canoeing (definately overkill!) but a straight up backpack /weekender I could use! Thx Brother !!! (side note, have you heard of a 'Kelly Kettle' for boiling water/cooking?- wondering what your impression of that would be?) Peace!
Ha ha! I actually purchased this pack at the L.L. Bean in Freeport! The camping section is awesome. My wife has to drag me out of there bucking and kicking. I do own a kettle, but not the Kelly. I wish I had one. I have the Self reliance outfitters kettle. (No longer in production) It works, but certainly needs improvement. Maybe I will pick up a Kelly sometime. Thanks again for all the great comments. Best wishes my friend.
@MarkYoungBushcraft just did a review of the PetroMax which also looks like it has a couple plus over the Kelly! I am investigating a purchase myself. You can get the Kelly in Aluminum which may push me that way. Wish someone made a titanium.
Hey there, fellow vermonter. I was wondering if you had any contact information on your channel? I couldn't seem to find any in your profile. I was curious if you'd be interested in some hiking/survival conversation with another local. Thanks Pauly
The footage of the quarry is really cool !
New Sub. Cheers from the South Carolina Lowcountry!

It is certainly only a weekender bag for sure. Have fun out there and thanks for watching. Best wishes.
Nothing is as good as cooking over a fire. Nice video ❤
Absolutely!

It was a small hike so the drone was in my rucksack. I love having lunch out in the woods! Thanks for watching buddy! Have a wonderful week.

Great video as always 🍻
Thanks so much my friend. Have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes.
Just remember to clean your face with the bandana before you get soot on it from the pan...or else you'll just wipe soot all over your face...hehe
