I love how you incorporate paganism and gothic culture equally in your videos. I’m a gothic witch and your channel is one of the only ones I’ve seen that does justice to both sides. 🖤🖤🖤

I hang my green man up w/holly and mistletoe on winter solstice and leave him up until summer solstice where I switch him out for another green man covered in ivy and oak leaves. My grandmother passed her green man faces on to me when I got my own place and they're my most prized possessions. Have a great vacation and have travels .

I love seeing the doll of St. Lucia. My cousin is half Swedish and played the roll of St. Lucia numerous times while I stayed over and watched her balancing a wreath of candles on her head while serving food to her parents in bed! My Yule is definitely a mish-mash of traditions. Swedish Dala horses next to Old World Santas in my home, Gävlebocken next to a reindeer who is next to a Valkyrie, etc. Have you read The Old Magic of Christmas, by Linda Raedisch? It is fabulous and covers all the origins, as well as Krampus! Candlemas is celebrated the same time as Imbolc.

I love videos where UA-cam's incorporate their lives. The closet tour and the yule tree were great. It inspires creativity in others. I think at least

I think it would be interesting if you did a book of the month video. I am always really psyched when you speak about the books you've been exploring.

I love flowy skirts because they manage to be airy and dramatic at the same time. Granny vibes are a fun addition to dark outfits. Your beige rose shawl makes me think of a fairytale witch that ends up being kindly.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been Pagan for a few years now, but I still struggle with the season because I have so many negative associations with Christmas and it's never really felt "right" to me. I love many of the older Yule traditions and I try to incorporate those elements into my life around this time, but I still find myself feeling "wrong" around all of the gaudy Christmas decorations, as well as the customers I get at work giving me bad vibes as they spend endless amounts of money in attempts to please family members they hardly know. I just wish that I could celebrate Yule in a simple and meaningful manner with people I truly love. Things have gotten better each year, but I still feel like people are not satisfied with my way of celebrating. I have been making candles and fudge for most of my family, and buying small gifts for the people closest to me, such as my friends and boyfriend. I feel like if you aren't super enthusiastic about the season like I am, you get ridiculed as a "Grinch" or "Scrooge" and it's actually quite hurtful, especially when this time is so stressful and overwhelming for me. Anyways, that's how I feel about everything. You have inspired me to make a Yule wreath with antlers and Runes! I've been channeling creative energies to help me get through the winter so thank you for your lovely facts and inspirations! 🌛🌝🌜

The crown with the 4 candles the doll was wearing is called an " adventskrans" in Belgium and Holland we burn the candles on the sunday evenings before christmas, as a kind of countdown, 1 candle the first week, 2 candles the next and so on until christmas :) btw thanks for the tips you gave me for San Fransisco! I have bought some creepy books and some pretty crystals! ow and when you visit Germany at the end of the year i recommend the christmas market in Valkenburg on the border of Germany and Holland. Its in what they call velvet caves and it is really pretty and spooky. There is even a church in the caves, its all carved out by a priest who went in hiding in world war 2. Its pretty cool :) have fun in Mexico! Xxx

I feel like the Yule book would be super helpful. I want to start doing more recipes and rituals for each Sabbat. I definitely have to look into each of those books for future use. I'm very interested in any future DIY projects or as someone mentioned below, a book of the month. That would be really great for people that are beginners or intermediate in the wiccan/pagan family <3 I hope you and Brady have a great time in Mexico.

OMG you're coming to Mexico... Orus festival I asume. I hope you have a great time here there's so much to see. Like someone mentioned already El tianguis cultural del Chopo is good option on Saturday, don't forget to enter the Biblioteca Vasconcelos which is close by (there's a whale skeleton suspended there)... There are also a couple of medieval stores in the very Centro: Mundo Medieval and Kimera Bazar (they are close to each other they both have FB pages so you can check the address)... I know you love to drink, there's a Viking themed bar in Insurgentes sur 497 called El Rincon Vikingo... If you have the time there's a lot of museums around, I'd recommend El museo de historia natural and El museo de antropología e historia. Have fun!

Mistletoe near my condo grow on rawan. Sickle use by druids was most likely high polish brass, gold is to soft to have sharp age.

That's so cool that your elementary school did that! I lived out in the boonies, so pretty much anything other than Christmas was unheard of/not celebrated for the most part. (Yay Montana)
