Lyrically, Phosphorus is an affirmation that as humans we must embrace what we consider our shadows as well as the light we bring forth into the world in order to navigate an existence that can be consumed with chaos at times. Alchemists often viewed light as a symbol of the spirit due to its ability to hold light and draws great parallels in our ability to be a beacon of light in any environment through focus and mindfulness.
