    taking the rear wing off the m2 reminds me of the ferrari fxx k rear end. Makes the m2 look so cool!!!!!!🚀🚀🚀

    nice nice. yep pretty much any tire will be overheated after 2 push laps on most cars above 3600lbs...let alone near 4K lbs loaded.

      Cant you just get more treadware?

    • @nodrogkam
      @nodrogkam 24 дні тому

      @@rjhick1 think about it differently. What happens to rubber when super heated due to friction or otherwise. Yes it’ll wear faster like a rubber eraser, but it also gets soft and mushy - adversely impacting the tire performance.
      It’s actually worse if you have more tread depth - slicks are slicks for reasons.

    Nice! I’ve got a 2024 M2 and would love to get it on track. I just started tracking my 2019 ninja zx6r tho so that’s my main focus rn. Looks like you’ve done a lot to the car. What tires and how often are you changing them?

    great video! Where did you get CSL bucket seats from? Would you also share the part number or model for the rims?

      MTR forged Custom g87 rims. Reach out to them for more info!

    Where are those roof fins from?

    Great video! Do you have to run spacers for the wheels with 305's? If so, what size?

    • @DriversPaddock
      @DriversPaddock  27 днів тому

      No need to. G8x can run 315’s no problem. Just need correct width and offset.

    2:04 why are those up shifts so slow?

    • @creedtucker3681
      @creedtucker3681 25 днів тому

      I assume you meant downshift and it's either 1: The shift logic could be waiting for the engine rpm to reduce before performing the shift so it doesn't over-rev on the downshift. Or 2: The trans was not at full temp and reduces shift speed. But sounds like he was already out for several laps so that's probably not the case.

      cause its a slushbox

    • @DriversPaddock
      @DriversPaddock  23 дні тому

      I hit the paddle early, logic prevented the downshift until the revs dropped below redline.

    Great mods that have been done on this car, with a great driver. I’m just still disappointed in the G87 M2’s design though. I like the look of this track one, but I don’t want to know how much $$ was spent on it cosmetically to finally make it look good. If you have to spend a lot of $$ cosmetically for a car to look good, then its original design is just really bad. 🤷‍♂️

    Dudes with a lot of money. Most these cars cost way way over $100k when you factor in the vehicle cost and especially the mods. Rich dudes and their toys.

      If you don't go out having a bunch of kids and don't waste your bread. You could easily afford a M2. It's more about what's important to you

    • @zcong3402
      @zcong3402 15 днів тому

      It's more about running cost, most of the mod is not necessary especially for this m2. tire/pads/rotors are mostly factor in when you really want to enjoy this toy

    Great driving!! Beautiful build..... but my Lord what a complete shit box of a transmission. I just cant wrap my head around how slow the downshifts are. Someone needs to devise a tune to act like a dual clutch with that quick blip! After watching this im glad i asked for my deposit back 1.5 years ago.
