I just stumbled across your content. While our tastes may be different, I can much more easily visualize what and how I might change something by watching you do so. I like the idea of refashioning old clothes, but there's only so many ways I can re-use a t-shirt before I'm out of ideas. You provide inspiration for eyeing the better pieces hanging, neglected, in my closet, and giving them a new life.
Thank You so much :) exactly it's all about your own taste, style and your own creativity. We get inspired by seing people create 😊 that's one of the reasons I don't use exact patters. It's more fun to play ❤
I get the frustrations with comments. All content creators have to deal with it. Good, bad and indifferent. My take is do you. I am inspired to upcyle thrifted clothing to cut down on cheap fast fashion purchases. As one subscriber, I would love a spoken tutorial on how you are changing the garment as that helps me. For instance, when you cut off the sleeves of the two tone dress I wondered how you figured out where to cut since you chose to not seam rip the sleeves. Showing us each step as you do a voiceover would be so awesome. A lot of UA-cam upcyclers whiz through the changes they make. But again, that’s me and what I would appreciate. I hope that makes sense and doesn’t offend you. You are crazy gifted for seeing so much possibilities in a garment. A breath of fresh air. It’d be great to just do one video for each project, with instructions. You’d have loads of content for years. You really have a knack for modifying garments. And no two creations are alike. Keep up the amazing work 💃🏻💕
Thank You so much for such a great comment. 😊 that is a great idea. Do some videos in between with more detailed tutorials. Some of my older videos are kinda that style with voice overs. I'll see what I can do. It realy depends on a project, sometimes I change my mind as I do it and don't capture everything on the video. But something to consider. I hope to improve my production as I learn 😊 welcome to the Hub ❤
@@hippiecrowhub you’re doing great. Do you find that you sketch your idea once you thrifted a piece of clothing? Or just have it in your mind? A vlog about your searching thrifted clothing would be great. I get the feeling that you know when you see an article of clothing you already have an idea of what to create with it. It’s fascinating
@@elizabeth4053 that's a great idea. I should film while in the thrift. I usually spot something with potential, sometimes I know exactly what I can do and sometimes I love the textile and I know I'll figure something out :) thank You
I just started following you a couple days ago, love to see different ideas from different upcyclers, my favorite today was the red dress and Jean jacket, try putting on rubber gloves next time you use bleach, I did the mistake of not using gloves once and the bleach irritated my skin so bad my fingers felt raw for a couple of weeks. Keep up the good work and don't give much attention to negative remarks. Hippie style 4-Life! ☮️❤
You do have amazing willpower. Yikes on breaking a needle 😮 it scares me when it happens. Although with all the layers it probably didn’t go flying 😂👍🏻 Which glue was that?
Thank You :) my stubborn will power 😂It was a regular fabric glue I picked up at Wal-Mart. I think most of them gonna work as fabric glue is more flexible after it dries.

Love your upbeat attitude. The macrame was amazing. Can't wait to see more.
Thank You so much 💓

Thank You very much. Yes not wearing gloves was not the smartest idea. Welcome to the Hub :) love that people are into upcycling
Recent subscriber I’m loving your videos
Ps I think I would have tried hand stitching the denim😊
You are very right. I was lazy and then too stubborn 😅 but I got it done ❤
You can try hydrogen peroxide on stains but check an inconspicuous spot first. Also enzymes. Enzymes work on sweat and urine stains.
That's good to know. Thank You for the tips 😊
