And yet so many people grind on about the good old days....and blame everything from the rain to a Tory government on 'migrants' 😂😂😂 I have a wordless admiration for the miners. My grandad was one,my first husband's family were miners. The idea terrifies me. Especially the older miners who wriggled along tiny tunnels on their fronts.. feel sick just thinking of it. How they could steal themselves to go through that day in day out, even as children,is just beyond me. Such grit.
It was fucking disgusting. How poor people couldnt afford food /boots.
