Great video! I'm looking to go with a 24v 100ah lithium for my trolling motor but no sure on a good reasonable 24v lithium battery charger, any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
Most of the manufacturers of those batteries offer Lithium chargers that they recommend for charging those batteries. Just be sure to get a higher amp charger in the 10 amp or more range. Keep in mind the higher amp charger the least amount of time to charge and maintain the battery. Thanks for watching 👍
@@GordonPettieFishing I looked closer and your right. I ordered a 24v. 20amp charger with a 29v output, the best I could tell not all 24v chargers charge at 29v,, thanks again for your help!
Maybe a dumb question, very new to this. Looking to have this kind of setup in my rod locker. So doing it this way is there no fuse box or extension cables or switches?
The power box has all the switches. There is also a fuse inside the power box. I also have an inline fuse on the main power line going to the unit and black box. If you check out my other video it will show you everything I did. There is a link to that video in the description.
When charging u need the power switch on and the light will be red. To know when its finished charging will the light change color? Or will it stay red
Yes. The switch on the box needs to be on to open the Circuit to accept the charge. The switch light will stay on all the time until turned off. Your charger indicator will let you know when it's fully charged. Don't forget to turn the power box switch off after charged.
Awesome setup ! 8:18 definitely the way I’m going!
I think it definitely the way to go. Thanks for watching 👍
