    My question is. Can I run 2 garmin 10" 106sv units off one banana plug? Than run just the livescope soley off the second banana plug? I would put a switch on the livescope Blackbox plug.

    Excellent video personally on my boat I’m using a Dewalt 20 V battery. It’s a six amp hour battery and I’m getting my power for my graph from a different source. Is that a problem?

    • @jcbassfishingchannel
      @jcbassfishingchannel  Рік тому +1

      I don't think thats a problem. Just remember that the black box from the livescope pulls a lot of power and if the battery is not completely charge it could quit on you while fishing.

    What size wire did you use from the battery to the switch and from the switch to the banana plugs?

    • @jcbassfishingchannel
      @jcbassfishingchannel  2 роки тому

      I use size 14 wire but you can use 12. Just make sure the wire is not on the way or not making it hard for you to open and close your case lid.

    What about the need for fuses between battery and livescope black box?

    • @jcbassfishingchannel
      @jcbassfishingchannel  2 роки тому +1

      The livescope power cable already comes with a fuse and if I remember properly the Garmin screen power cable also has a fuse on it so you don't need to add more fuses.

    Nice box but I don’t understand the point of it. Why do you need a separate portable box for your power source that does not also include your screen and black box?

    • @jcbassfishingchannel
      @jcbassfishingchannel  Рік тому +1

      Because tye black box by itself pulls so much power out of your other battery that it will drain it and you will be stuck in the middle of the lake. I run the Garmin and the livescope on this setup and since then I never been stranded without power, however when I used to run everything together I got stuck in the water twice with no power. Thats the point of it.

    • @bugtussle7475
      @bugtussle7475 Рік тому

      @@jcbassfishingchannel I totally agree with your reasoning but why not make it a permanent install on your boat so that you do not need to haul your power source around with you? Just mount your setup in a rod locker or storage compartment.
