This delay is simply the best. Some have more features, some have simpler set ups, but this is amazing. This and fuzz is all you need.

wow! I have never seen a delay with that many options! Andy, any options for a tape sounding delay with that type of subdivisions? this thing is practically like an old binson!!! too bad it's so costly

It's actually surprisingly small. When I first took it out of the box I couldn't believe what a small footprint it has. Much smaller than the Line 6.
between 5:00 and 6:00...awesome. are the modulation effects demonstrated here also possible with the eventide timefactor? thanks.

I just got one of theses today. How do you get dotted eighth out of it???
How do you get the modulation controls to effect the regular delay side? I have the echolution, and when I engage the Modulation delay, I cannot use the normal right side controls, and unless the Modulation delay is engaged, the controls don't effect the sound. Can you explain how you do that?

I heard the sound sound of the pedal at the beginning and I was like "wow", then i saw it and I got scared.
Not if you use a Parallel Effects loop since the signal is only mixed in that type of loop. PLus, USE YOUR EARS. Who cares if anything is converted to digital as long as it sounds the same if the effects is plugged in or not.
Pigtronix should make a 8 voice modulation delay!

It makes my heart cry that this pedal costs so god damned much. Because it is perfect. Does anyone know of a cheaper analog delay pedal that has reverse delay?

It's because delays with true bypass suck. The delays just stop when you switch it off. with the buffer the last delays still taper off.

Yes, it absolutely does matter because the effects loop is in the heart of your signal chain (the amp itself!). With this pedal your analog guitar signal is digitized after it enters the effect and STAYS digitized even when the effect is shut off. Whether it's in front of your amp or in the loop, it's robbing your true guitar/amp tone...and if you don't have that squared away no pedal will help.

It's actually a digital delay.
weird, as most other pigtronix are true bypass. could be to do with stereo, as if your guitar is split (and i'm guessing your guitar is split when this is bypassed too) it will sound very bad without a buffer (much worse, probably like having volume on half or something). not so great for mono(unless it happens to be in the place in your chain you need one, and if you need one).
better than Memory Man with Hazarai ? cuz it sure cost more

No, the L6 delay can't. I own it and you could spend all day tweaking and it wouldn't come close to anything the echolution did in multitap.

Great demo as always but with all due respect to Andy and PGS, this pedal is unfortunately NOT true bypass!
wow this thing nicer then hot go go boot wearing chicks dancing in cages, wait, um k not really but this pedal pretty close, well ok, kinda close.
I feel like these pedals would sell better if they looked nicer.
