So arguably the best Auburn team in history couldn’t make it past the second round.
They played horrible yeah they lost
Not really I think the 1999 team was the best. Much more consistent and adaptable, made it to the sweet 16 where they lost to Michael Redd, Scoonie Penn Ohio St team that made it to the Final Four and gave the champion UConn team a good fight.
I think the team that was a play away from going to the championship game was better than this team...(about three yrs ago I think)..
Easy to yap yap now..AFTER the fact...that's basketball and March Madness ANYTHING can happen to any team...2019 team wasn't as HYPED but made the FINAL FOUR and should and would have won the title but for that bs call..now this team made it to #1 in the country and was praised more and boom out before the sweet 16..just never know folks..as the Great Chris Berman says.."that's why they play the game" oh well....War Eagle everybody..#UKRAINE 🙏🙌
ACC was under-appreciated in the seedings. SEC and Big Ten have been pretty underwhelming.
Chuck has to be the most depressed Auburn fan in the face of this earth watching his team played tonight. Jim Larranaga has to be the most underrated coach in college basketball right now with the way that his team performed tonight

Knew they were the only team that could potentially upset Auburn, those boys can play, they are no fluke. Their guard play is elite elite. Super nice with the ball on both hands, what more can a big man ask for? And they are fearless , those cats are fearless.

All I’m going to say is that Bruce pearl didn’t coach a good game or watch film cause they had the size advantage in the key not too many post up it was like AU guards was playing one on one and Miami was playing team basketball but Miami if they don’t hit shots in next game they will lose they don’t have a big man and they shoot most of the game

Jabari Smith is supposed to be a top 3 pick? That was a horrific performance from him. He has no handles and is far too reliant on his jumper. Banchero on the other hand is really impressive. He has a wide offensive arsenal and is a willing passer.

Media doubted ACC all year. Didn’t realize we were all just beating ourselves up with REAL basketball. Miami wins at Duke and UNC but gets punched around by FSU, who probably would win a round of 32 game if they were firing correctly. VT and ND were solid also all year. ND pushed Texas Tech today, and that team is very good. ACC will always be the basketball conference. Always

One thing I've learned this season is that teams that are hot early usually are the ones who flame out down the stretch. Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee all failed to bring their A game in the tournament. So I guess it's Arkansas the last team standing out of the SEC.
Usually Bruce’s teams tend to peak late. It’s been a weird but definitely still incredible year, always next year I guess

Nice to see the Canes break thru for their 4th Sweet Sixteen. They are playing really well. Also nice to see Pearl sent home.
As an auburn fan, I knew the moment we went into a slump and started losing games on the road, that's when I knew we weren't going to go far. This was a trap game for them and I give a lot of respect to Miami because they are well coached and their small ball lineup was a big time problem for us. They deserved this win. You are not going to win a championship in this tournament having terrible guard play.

Well....looks like my Razorbacks are the last SEC team standing. Auburn looked flat starting the game and Miami played hungry. Auburn had all that talent, all those top recruits, and never really looked like a team that could go all the way or even make a deep run.

Miami was so comfortable and beat them fairly easy. Auburn did look fatigue, not the same energy that they played during regular season.

Worst shot selection I've seen in a game, maybe ever. Nobody making the extra pass, 5 seconds into the shot clock just launching 30 footers. Disgusting basketball and makes Bruce Pearl look like an awful head coach. Auburn had way more talent than Miami and they got ran out of the gym. Congrats to Miami though, Wong is cold and the whole team moves the ball and plays great defense
