I'd advise recapping all these Soyo boards, as the silver caps on them are known to be utter trash. (as evidenced by a lot of posts on badcaps.net)
Yep all Soyo boards are weak with caps.
Judging by the number of rare things, you simply speculated on computer equipment, so you had the time and means to pocket it all. You are not the only one.
Those jet style coolers look awesome.
And sound awful
@@matthewday7565 which is accurate
bearings look crap, if they have any
@@matthewday7565 was suppose to resemble a jet engine sound, just saying...
That mounting bracket for S478 is kind of genius.
Once again I covered my desk in drool watching your showcase of hardware.
Haha Genius :-) This is not problem for me - anything from metal.
Genius? Probably better than original Intel or CM bracket, it uses real screws.
As many people have said I prefer your videos of old tech than the videos showing off latest hardware. Old 90s and 2000 PCBs are full of colour and are wacky! Also your motherboard collection in the background is top dollar.
Builds with old HW are in progress and tests too. My favourite HW is just around s370/478/sA. With anything old is 5x more job, time, faults and other problems with drivers etc. But don't afraid, you will see old HW soon :-)
@@RETROHardware Sorry my friend I meant other UA-camrs who focus on the latest tech, your content is the best era. I have a socket 475 with a sempron 2800+ and spend more time working on that than my newer system.
Thank you for the great MX 440 comparison. My first PC was equipped with such a tiny GPU and it is still working.
nostalgy level over 9000 :-), kámo moje mládý léta tenhle hardware. Doby kdy mě ještě bavilo se v tom hrabat
I love your channel, awesome builds and probably the biggest collection of retro hardware on youtube, keep it up.
How have I missed your channel?! this is awesome!
I enjoy your videos, plenty of Unique Retro Hardware.
12:31 Cuz that's how real computer enthusiasts DO!
Beautiful build probably one of the sexiest cpu coolers I’ve seen.
This does actually make you think of winter because the color scheme feels very chill just from looking at it with all the metal with no layer of paint. I say theme attempt successful.
The P4 will however warm up even the coldest of homes.
Love this build 😍 and keep going your channel is awesome!
Wow amazing, thats a really rare custom case Frys Electronics made in the Windows XP Era. There are a few others variants of the case one in black with a side panel fan. The signature of these cases was the acrylic front panel design and no logos. Sleek workstations and Premium home PC's.
I believe they were made for frys by lian li if i remember correctly
I feel massive nostalgia emanating from this video.
Truly a beautiful build! Epic!
Freaking beutiful! Great work, I love old stuff and it works too!
2:13 it's missing components, that's why it's giving a black screen.
I have to say that build looks pretty awesome!
Those soltek graphics cards are insane! Never seen that. This whole build is ridiculous. Nice work broham.
Jednoduše nádherná práce, překonáváš se s každým novým videem.
I discovered your channel yesterday but i literally felt in love with the extreme overclock to mulitple Pentium4 but with this video you make me fell in love with your channel bro.
i´m new in your channel and is awesome. Very nice collection and so much good memories. 2000 coolers and panels are the best for me. got a new sub!
Great build! Brings back memories. Subbed!
This build looks beautiful. All of its colors match (except for that blue screen, but I guess you could say that it matches with the Windows shut down screen). Aesthetics, instead of random lights everywhere, were a priority and you can tell that with the final result. Nicely done.
On an added note: Flatout 2 is a great game. I highly recommend it.
Holy, this color scheme is thousand times better than today RGB, the cooler looks fantastic.
admirable that beautiful that beautiful hardware Retro .. Greetings and a hug from Honduras continues forward pending to more videos.
Hello to Honduras
Great work and great hardware!!!
Woaahh! Im in heaven! Thanks man!!
this is one of your prettiest builds
im glad i came across this channel awesome oldies hardware 😍
What a great build, I had a fan controller like that back in the day,
I am from tropical country.
No snowing, no winter season, no spring or fall season, only dry season and wet season.
Gaada yg nanya lu
@@alvitodev emg gk nanya.
nice work! the jet cooler look great.....
I remember walking into brandsmart or comp usa back in the day and seeing pre builts that looked just like this.
Good ol Cooler Master Jet 7, used to have one of them coolers on s462.
Loud af on high rpm, but I guess it's where it got it's name from "Jet 7" :D.
Mate this is just beautiful a work of art even
Good stuff man love the videos
Awesome. I love your videos.
Nice hardware! I like collecting any coloured boards that aren’t green. Purple and White look great.
Amazing Build!!!! :O
This year the weather freezed in Italy too and snowed a lot
It’s a real magic
Nice collection !
On the gpu with the nice cooler is missing some smd capacitors, and that is the reason for black screen, if you have some dead gpu you can resolder the missing caps.
Yep you right.
I thought it was an apple card by the look of the cooler lol
Gave you a like just for that awesome jet cooler, I had one on a PC of mine and they're just as awesome as they look.
Excellent stuff my friend :D
Great and originals as usual. Respect for crafting process. I like an idea to make video about made some moding of old stuff.
Very nice color matching. I loved it cause you just don't see this any anywhere atm.
Silver/white theme looks great!
Amazingly beautiful hardware and the build itself. By the way, I have the same Logitech keyboard and it works like a charm for about 10 or maybe 15 years :)
Good lord, that is beautiful
So beautiful !!!
Splendid :) best channel
super video, len tak dalej
Very noble system! top class.
Nowadays you can't even install a fan control because there are no more drive bays.
Nice! Do you have a museum you keep these works of art in? I'd visit.
No museum :-) Only personal collection for fun.
Them Jet Turbine coolers look pretty cool.
This guy should have his own tv show.
I didn’t even know they made old pc hardware that looked like that. I’ve never seen silver pcbs.
Like.Perfect!
Thats a nice build. Recapping these old boards with silver solid caps should make them nicer.
I think i'm in love!
I like it. Nice job.
Verry nice mate !! You the best !! I bet you from Poland
This was like retro builder sweet dream
This is art
Oh my god!!!
winter build should keep you warm.
O seu canal é muito Top 👍🏿💯
So damn cool.... Love it.
just got myself an XPS 630i Case, its not that retro, but its gorgeous, old gaming cases are the best
Yap, strange treatment for retro hardware.
That is a damn good looking computer
I remember that this was top of the line in late 2002.
my drem pc back in the days! amazing!
lupit kahit lumang model
Fantastic
Amazing channel
When it looks like the FUTURE but runs like a potato. Great work :)
irado mano.... blz,
Nice... Free Heater
Winter solder mask🎅
at first glance whem I saw the thumbnail I was like "wth is this a drilling rig from the future!?"
Haha good :-) I hope that my pictures are ok (not fake). Any thumbnail is reality from video.
That CPU cooler is so cool.
Very nice, in that PC are only two things missing, a Coba Nitrox Limited Edition PSU and a case fan from Aerocool (Turbine 1000). You can see both in my old videos ;-)
Like this CPU Cooler.
Me gusto mucho en equipo
A nice looking build. I was thinking instead of the white tape over the wires you could use clear spiral wrap over them.
Legendary Jet cooler
FUTUREEEEEEE
Great Build. In 10 Years. You can make retro Videos about Ryzen 5 1600.
6:46 I have the same Vanessa S-type cooler in my Core 2 Quad system. It cools my Q8300 pretty well. The temperatures are roughly 35-40 C while idling and 45-50 C under load and it rarely goes any higher if does at all.
I’m running it on stock clocks though. Wonder how well the Vanessa will stand upon Q8300 overclocked to 3 GHz :)
A to kolik máš komponentů, ty bych si jednou přál mít stejně tolik. Pokračuj v tvorbě. :-D
Awesome
The Starks were right all along... winter is here.
