Amazing. You would have been a king at year 2003 LAN parties :)
This Hardware is from 2004 not 2003.
@@michael80126 he still would have been king =)
Lan party. 😍
@@michael80126maybe even a bit later than that, maybe '06
@@michael80126 he would have been a time traveler with a system from the future!
Forget RGB, this is where it's at!
Much cooler than RGB !
100% agree
So nice !
Hey it's pixel pipes!

*_About 14 years ago this computer was one of the top models in the world and would have been almost unaffordable at that time._*
Just a little longer than that. The core 2's stomped these in 06.

Man I really miss the DFI Lan Party aesthetic, just like a dark motherboard with neon accents. Nice retro build
I have no words to describe that computer, that thing might be the most pure computer I have ever seen. This is a computer you would only see in another dimension.
This is a really beautiful build and the colors bring so much nostalgia
Bonus points for the Barbie keyboard! 😂
One Brazilian was here! 🇧🇷👊😎
Congrulations! 👏👏👏👏

I just love how absolutley overkill everything about this guy's builds are. Its fantastic. One of my new favtorite channels to watch recently.
this was a golden age of crazy style on pcs love it
PC tuning podle mě peakoval právě v době, kterou nejlíp vystihuje tenhle build. Instantní láska, děláš božskou práci.
Awesome build. I was 10 years old but I remember back during 462 or 478 era that acrylic case are the most interesting one. Everyone looking forward to buying one. In my opinion this was there the most existing hardware era. There were lot of brands with different layout like aOpen, Epox, Chaintech, Tiplex, Suma, Abit, Hercules, Pixelview... now all looks the same. Black or grey colors with horrible RGB Led.
The best 478 i ever seen, dfi lanparty i really lovit
Nostalgia to the roof! Quality hardware for that era OMG could never afford it back then
This particular build spoke to me. It was absolutely a dream to have had a full uv setup like this back then. Even if i have no room for it at this time, i would have loved to own a setup like that.
It's when I see builds like these that I know I'm old lmao... Thank you for the nice memories.
This channel makes me feel 15 years younger again. ❤
Oh man, I miss these days, when UV reactive everything was all the rage and cold cathode ruled the PC modding communities. Good times...
in my opinion, the best time for PC modding...
I wished I'd started collecting hardware years ago... some of the stuff you have is just, next level, never seen some of that stuff before
Wow. This build is actually more glamorous than RGB.
Great build! You have the skill to transport me back in time with the hardware you have. I am AMAZED about the excellent condition in witch you find most of the old hardware. Hugs from Colombia
Let’s make that style come back with the cool light lettering and everything
+1
This might be one of the coolest retro builds ive seen on youtube. Massive kudos!
19:49 nostalgia quake 3
i had that case and that psu ... the psu went bang a long time ago .. i still have the case but over the years of use with uv it yellowed really badly so lives in the shed lol .. great video brought back memories
I know the location of a case with a functioning psu. I haven't asked for the price, but im sure it would be pretty steep considering this case was top of the line in its days.
what's the name of the case? I need one like that for a project
@@nicolaspomies7944 Akasa Crystal Clear MIDI tower case it was .. you had too build it yourself from a flat pack old school now tho .. sometimes a copy of this case comes up on ali express from time too time .
@@Soooperspeed thanks
Man this brings back fond memories of a bygone era. Thank you for keeping it alive. 👍

wish they still made pc parts like this!
I love the fans, outrageous Barbi keyboard, and both graphics cards
We all had one of these cases back in 2002. LoL!! Mine had cold-cathode UV lighting. I had the nVidia Ti 4200 128MB AGP 4x at the time and I installed the ONLY after market cooler kit with copper heatsink on the ramdacs, and a blue LED-lit ORB copper gpu heatsink and fan. I overxlocked the piss out of that card and it took it all. I was desteoying the 4600 SE cards in benchmarks. The 4200 overclocked the best of all in the series. I was also rocking my AMD Athlon XP Barton 3200+ as well. Kickass build. I was rocking games maxed out and flawless framerates on my 22" flat screen CRT @ 1600x1200 @ 85Hz on DVi. What a monster!!
It's always fascinating to see this era of pc build, unlike most people in retro pc group who mostly having their first PC/PC Gaming experience/introduction are way back to 90's era. My first experience and also introduction to PC and PC Gaming world was this era (2004-2005s). So every time I see this kind of build (Pentium 478, Radeon 9000 series or Geforce 5000/6000 series), just bring back memories.
Great video as always. Cheers!
Same! I rocked a 478 P4 3.0 and a 6800 and 2gb of DDR for YEARS and thought it was the beez-neez.
The awsomness level of your builds is over 9000!
As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I knew these would be 22 very well spent minutes
That CPU fan really looks helpful on stats
Videos like these are so much more fun than watching a full blown best pc possible in current year seeing all this nostalgia technology is just better
really nice!
back then I had an overclocked amd barton mobile 2200+ and also my 6600 GT 128MB, this was the budget option as I remember it for me! It served me well as I remained on winXP 32-bit for the longest time!
I was quite proud of my (AXMH2200FQQ3C) as I had overclock stable to 2.4ghz and I remember overclocking my gcard also using nvidia software for overclock, i remember tuning it until i saw artifacts in 3dmark (the one where trolls fall off ledges at the end of the bench). It was my main computer until 2010! I only upgrade because some games started to demand SSE2!
I now desperately want that DDR ram. It’s so wicked.
went to town with those cold cathords, that motherboard looked brand new and what a package with all those extra accesories. i remmember those uv reactive cases, came flat packed with brass fittings, mine only had the one fan mount on the side panel, i remmeber scorpion fan grills and uv reactive acrylic lady fan grills that had a little light in the corner, that the wire kept breaking off, crazy neon phydillac days lol
it's such a 90's party PC i'm surrprised it didn't boot by playing The Macarena
I don't think any thing could scream "YEAHHHH BOIIII" any louder...
The 80mm fans are the touch that makes it next level though XDDDD
Ah... I remember when computer hardware stores used to have an acrylic case on exhibition... I still have an UV reactive fan with (near) UV LEDs :).
Great build, brought back cool memories from my first custom build. I also ran UV CCFL's with reactive accents and green sound sensitive tubes as my lighting setup. You should look for UV PCI slot covers to further enhance the theme and additionally Sunbeam made a 3.5" bay mounted sound sensitive CCFL controller that would fit this build perfectly
Seeing this Pc, brings me back. Where I would poke around in my uncles PC. watching the fans move and seeing the light show.
Man i had completely forgotten about DFI they were awesome back in the day, wonder what ever happened to them, those acrylic cases were scratch magnets, surprised you were able to find one in that good of condition. Great biuld man!
Man I love this so much. Great choice of parts too. I never knew the ram lightbars and the thermaltake cpu cooler with the fan display ever existed!
HAVENT SEEN THE WHOLE VIDEO BUT NICE WAS WAITING ON THIS THANKS MAN CHEERS
I never really understood why modded rigs were so big back then, then it clicked that LAN was massive in those days
I used a case like this until 2 years ago. I loved him. Good video. Greetings from Brazil.
The most colorful built of today RGB era must call this built MASTER. Every component in this built is so odd, even the cable. Respect 😎
I had in the past exactely one of this chinese clear pc case, but no blue just clear. I had build my first socket 775 pc: 4CoreDual-SATA2, Pentium 4 3.0Ghz and Radeon X1950Pro 512MB GDDR3. One day fell off my desk and break into pieces ;) anyway this cases arn't good quality, I bought it becasue I was cleas so I wanted to have my new unique setup. Thanks for sharing !
I had that one as well! It got cracked after an earthquake we had in our country in 2010 (like 5 months after buying it). I wasn't at home, so I couldn't save it :(
This RAM and CPU fan design is amazing even today
That is the most hideous thing I have ever seen ! I absolutely love it ! Top work there my friend :)
To think of what was "cool" at the advent of the internet. I'm glad to have experienced it first hand. That CPU cooler is bigger than my 5 ton HVAC outside my house !
Great system!
Thanks for bringing up those sweet memories
Really amazing, man! I will never forget what I saw at this video!
Great video mate!
I
I had two DFI Lanparty boards; nforce2 & a socket 939 based.
I also had a p4 2.8c ht which clocked to around 3.7GHz stable, but required additional voltage and wouldn’t hit 4GHz, but I was using a poor, cheap hsf & it would get to over 70c without even being under full load.
I had an epox 8rda 2 and an abit nf7-s 2.0 and an ecs k7s5a as well as a pc chips m810lmr 7.1.
Last two socket a - 462 boards I mentioned were purely for a laugh and to help others out with all of their very odd issues ; especially the m810lmr lol
Man this brings back 15 year old memories!
This is truely a Cyberpunk Themed build. Very nice!
The lights on the cooler and RAM are the most extra thing I've ever seen in a PC.
great time capsule of a pc build there.
Excellent i'm so envy of the DFI Lanparty boxed even if it's rev.a . Well done , well done.
I'm from Poland, by accident I saw your films and found them very interesting :-)

A blast from the past! Nice.
Those corsair modules damn.
Wow! Nice BH-5 Corsair sticks!
My early 2000's self is screaming from jealousy! This is sick.
La música de fondo, el video, y la pc,todo muy bonito
So sick! Love your builds, man!
must admit those parts looks DOPE AF
It looks so aesthetic, amazing. ❤️
I personally would get back that Hw in boxes after filming. Its in mint condition.
когда то в 2005м году о таком только слюни можно было пускать. крутая сборка тех лет. в те года селерон2,5 + Geforce fx5200 на 128мб было за радость.
Hello, I am Turkish and computer hardware patient: D I follow you very often, I hope you will reach the place you deserve.
Best retro pc channel ever!!!
I love this build so much. probably my favorite video on your channel.
i remember i want a pc in the 2000s like that
All it needs now is a disco ball. Nicely done!
This is why I love old hardware.
I wish the RGB trend would end and this stuff would come back, it looks freaking amazing!
So beautiful build... Every part like brand new. Ultimate retro dream machine...
There are only 2 things a bit annoying.
1. A bit loud fan noise
2. Windows XP - when i saw P4 Prescott, Intel 875 and GeForce 6800GT I was sure you will use Windows 98, since everything is compatible with available drivers for it...
Nice computer build and system. Great job again. I love your videos and content. Greetings from Steven from the Netherlands
когда то мечтал о корпусе из акрила..... :) Класс!!!
holy shit that dfi board brought back forgotten memories
i'm so glad I found this channel.
So much classic hardware! Love it m8. Had that case, ram and many versions of DFI.. Tho i do still own the 4 sticks of that CMX led ram.
I'd be around elementary school when these parts were out and honestly, itnmakes me wish I was either way more computer savvy to know about the existence of stuff like this or born about five years earlier to know about this stuff and knowing what I missed over the years before we got all the tempered glass cases and RGB fans and motherboards.
in 2005 i think i was in a pan party and i owned cod2 lan party offline in a tdm in several matchs against other players, i win this same mother board in first place, i still have it in the box because at the time i had an amd2+ 6000+ cpu so it was not compatible for me.
OMG that orange motherboard looks so based, i dont know why motherboard manufacturers dont make motherboards that look fancy, like anymore
7:08 "Excitement guaranteed" yes when it puts on a fireworks show ;-)
This is exactly the kind of computer I would have wanted if I was ten years old which means I'd want it now.
i love it exatly this case i ownd in aorund 2003 its glowing really nice like a crismas tree but its a nightmere to clean
Surprised a working DFI board is still out there, mine never lasted :/
Man you have so much unbelievable hardware!
its like if nickelodeon took acid and barfed, i love it
My God I bet these new in box retro parts cost more than a new PC parts. WOW! where do you even find these parts? AMAZING!
nice man
Ta klávesnice a myš tý sestavě dává to něco co chybí ostatním PC ! :D :D
So jealous of all the OG parts. Where did you find the case? Building a retro PC for that era myself, but with water cooling.
Amazing build. i used to have a SunbeamTech all clear case at one point. sadly it broken. :(
You never fail to brighten my day :)
