Awesome build. I was 10 years old but I remember back during 462 or 478 era that acrylic case are the most interesting one. Everyone looking forward to buying one. In my opinion this was there the most existing hardware era. There were lot of brands with different layout like aOpen, Epox, Chaintech, Tiplex, Suma, Abit, Hercules, Pixelview... now all looks the same. Black or grey colors with horrible RGB Led.

We all had one of these cases back in 2002. LoL!! Mine had cold-cathode UV lighting. I had the nVidia Ti 4200 128MB AGP 4x at the time and I installed the ONLY after market cooler kit with copper heatsink on the ramdacs, and a blue LED-lit ORB copper gpu heatsink and fan. I overxlocked the piss out of that card and it took it all. I was desteoying the 4600 SE cards in benchmarks. The 4200 overclocked the best of all in the series. I was also rocking my AMD Athlon XP Barton 3200+ as well. Kickass build. I was rocking games maxed out and flawless framerates on my 22" flat screen CRT @ 1600x1200 @ 85Hz on DVi. What a monster!!

It's always fascinating to see this era of pc build, unlike most people in retro pc group who mostly having their first PC/PC Gaming experience/introduction are way back to 90's era. My first experience and also introduction to PC and PC Gaming world was this era (2004-2005s). So every time I see this kind of build (Pentium 478, Radeon 9000 series or Geforce 5000/6000 series), just bring back memories.
    Great video as always. Cheers!

    really nice!
back then I had an overclocked amd barton mobile 2200+ and also my 6600 GT 128MB, this was the budget option as I remember it for me! It served me well as I remained on winXP 32-bit for the longest time!
I was quite proud of my (AXMH2200FQQ3C) as I had overclock stable to 2.4ghz and I remember overclocking my gcard also using nvidia software for overclock, i remember tuning it until i saw artifacts in 3dmark (the one where trolls fall off ledges at the end of the bench). It was my main computer until 2010! I only upgrade because some games started to demand SSE2!

Great build, brought back cool memories from my first custom build. I also ran UV CCFL's with reactive accents and green sound sensitive tubes as my lighting setup. You should look for UV PCI slot covers to further enhance the theme and additionally Sunbeam made a 3.5" bay mounted sound sensitive CCFL controller that would fit this build perfectly

    I had two DFI Lanparty boards; nforce2 & a socket 939 based.
I also had a p4 2.8c ht which clocked to around 3.7GHz stable, but required additional voltage and wouldn’t hit 4GHz, but I was using a poor, cheap hsf & it would get to over 70c without even being under full load.
I had an epox 8rda 2 and an abit nf7-s 2.0 and an ecs k7s5a as well as a pc chips m810lmr 7.1.
