He deserves a second chance to play in the NFL and Cleveland let me say that was probably the best quarterback you will ever have browns you should be sad
not a fan of johnny manziel but the 1-15 and 0-16 seasons are strong evidence that he SURELY wasn't THAT bad and wasn't the problem in Cleveland...I honestly think Jonny should play CFL/XFL for a year or two and maybe get good ala Kurt Warner style and maybe in 2019 or 2020 do an NFL training camp if someone see's his potential that is the smartest and safest way to comeback...imo idk
This should have been the long shot story instead of Devin wade. But for real I want to see this guy do better now he’s got his mind in the right place
That if you act like you are bigger than the team you were drafted too and don't take the job you were paid millions to do seriously you would be playing in the CFL going around doing mental health interviews trying to get sympathy for being such a screw up.
What huge downfall? Guess they forget or better yet they refuse to acknowledge that Manziel was only a 3rd string NFL QB. The media LOVES to over exaggerate and every sports story is overblown. Whenever a top college QB is drafted by Cleveland you know the NFL isn't going to give that guy a career.
First round draft pick and he did start a few games for the browns. He was easily the most popular college athlete in 2012-2013. Yeah, that’s a big downfall.

And Rice wouldn't get that same chance Manziel is getting. Nor will he get the same support for a comeback, from the media like this!
MrYorick271 there’s a video of him dropping a bitch. Only videos of Manziel getting litty
Yeah he viciously KOed her on tape and the images are burned into everyone’s brain... but don’t worry Johnny ain’t getting back in. The NFL made an example.
@@MegaGoozie I wouldn't say never, ratings matter a lot, the NFL ratings are declining, if he starts proving himself for Montreal and starts making a name for himself again, Roger Goodell would get on his knees for that man. Just sayin
He doesn’t have mental illness, he has regret it’s a natural human emotion. People need to stop playing the victim, be a man and make a change in your life
He's gonna destroy the NFL when he's back
Nick bahhahahahaha 😂🤣😂🤣
LOL, he's just too small.
Great interview always had hope for manziel. I am a diehard razorback fan but I stood in the rain and bought a suite ticket just to watch him demolish us in Fayetteville
I'm glad he's getting the help he needed but truth be told he was never an NFL quarterback and the Browns were dumb for drafting him that high
I hope he makes it. At least he's trying now.
*AT THE END OF THE DAY*
One of the most overused and pointless phrases used today especially among athletes.
He only said it 2 times... Not his problem if that phrase stuck out so hard to you.
What else is he suppose to say?
He is not an employee of a university.
He deserves a second chance to play in the NFL and Cleveland let me say that was probably the best quarterback you will ever have browns you should be sad
I pray he'll make an NFL comeback someday.
It crazy Manziel and Tebow both lasted as long as first round picks with their original team and are opposite ends of the spectrum
not a fan of johnny manziel but the 1-15 and 0-16 seasons are strong evidence that he SURELY wasn't THAT bad and wasn't the problem in Cleveland...I honestly think Jonny should play CFL/XFL for a year or two and maybe get good ala Kurt Warner style and maybe in 2019 or 2020 do an NFL training camp if someone see's his potential that is the smartest and safest way to comeback...imo idk
No shame in getting help. Wish u the best
This should have been the long shot story instead of Devin wade. But for real I want to see this guy do better now he’s got his mind in the right place
Seems pretty genuine here
Top 3 college QB of all time I don't care what anyone says. 1. Tim Tebow 2. Cam Newton 3. Money Manziel
Get this man back in the NFL asap
LMFAO he's such a loser
God bless him
I hope he’s changed but only time will tell.
other than Tim Tebow, the Greatest college football player that I've ever seen. Glad to see you're doing better, Johnny.
Can't wait for the 30 for 30. What if I told you...
(Fill it in yourself)
Will E. You could come back
Johnny Manziel wins Superbowl 53 MVP
A huge fall can lead to an even bigger rise?
That if you act like you are bigger than the team you were drafted too and don't take the job you were paid millions to do seriously you would be playing in the CFL going around doing mental health interviews trying to get sympathy for being such a screw up.
Johnny Manziel is the biggest loser of all time
If my dad said that about me....I'd probably be to embarrassed to even be alive!
Looks like the brownies got it right for a change
First round draft pick and he did start a few games for the browns. He was easily the most popular college athlete in 2012-2013. Yeah, that’s a big downfall.
Drinking does mess up goals and lives, lord knows I have done my share of it, everyone has that choice to change what they were. Do work Johnny. Be about it.
The best that never was
He should get a second chance. He sounds sincere. Too talented to just be tossed aside.
Not really
Defunct Houston Oliers are calling.....actually I hope he continues to recover.
It’s cool man we all slid down the shit slide sometimes
He debuted in the CFL recently....and threw 4 interceptions.
Damn i feel this guy for sure. Damn
Respect
Reality, needs a plan B in case Pro football doesn't want him back.
He’s been out of the league for 7 years
Funny how everyone could see that but him. It's over, he might have a future in the CFL, or Arena league, but the NFL is not an option anymore.
