As a person who has unlocked the peacekeeper and needed help with the tile part I can verify that nowadays I keep equipping purely because its like an ingame fidget toy XD
I like to think that each of three main-side dog tags represent a quality they test in you The Beginning - Dedication A Conflict - Patience An Omen - Attention I can definitely say that i need to pay a lot of attention on what i input during Omen. And as of dedication... I want Peacekeeper since the week the guide of unlocking it was posted on youtube.
I worked for this gun a few years back and I must say. It was worth the trouble. Luckily, I was in quarantine and I was a high school kid so I had plenty of time to waste. If you are a kid and you want the gun. I would recommend you do it. My best advice to everybody would be to do it with a friend. Not only will it be easier, but you will also make memories with them and you may even miss the hassle as I do. Another point of advice is to be polite and patient with the discord server. They are very helpful and if you don’t have them, then good luck because you won’t ever get it unless you have a computer with sound software on it.
There is an online tool to help, dont know if its still online though. Jackfrags linked it in one of his videos i think. I for some reason insisted on solving it myself, in a wild caffeine-driven friday night... Those tools would propably have shaved a few hours off the total needed time, cutting corners is no shame as this Easter Egg is propably one of the hardest in mainstream gaming.
I did the Peacekeeper easter egg. Honestly, the fact one of the websites has a means to translate audio into Morse code helps so much. Also, Soissons is actually a fun puzzle. The *rest* of the Easter Egg is just "decode Morse Code, use the cipher, then go around and press a few things in a specific order."

I remember helping 4 people at once unlock this on Xbox. “A Beginning,” was probably the worst dog tag of them all. It took forever trying to sort all the Morse codes and what step they were on. It was worth because we got a full squad of Peacekeepers.
I finally had enough a month ago and told myself "I won't sleep until I have the peacekeeper" Keep in mind, I hadn't done a single step of the Easter egg yet... 6 hours later, I was cowboy be-bop'in fools, making everyone regret their life decisions. Would definitely recommend getting it, but, not in the same way I did. Dont do it in one setting while extremely sleep deprived. Unless you really want to I guess.
@Z3ZP no, got on a cavalry and went to each spawn for it. The first spawn only happened twice actually. The beginning step was tedious, but was by no means difficult. I used it as a break after I did the light puzzle, and before the escalation skin. Got to enjoy some youtube instead of only watching the guide lol
@@SuperGlitchd Loading through maps, traveling, menuing, decoding both morse and the ciphers, looking for a Zeebrugge map without rain so you can get clean audio of the morse or actually learning basic morse to decode the Zeebrugge morse, not having people crash in on the server to try and ruin the shit, finding an empty, clean Albion server with all the houses and lanterns intact and same for Caporetto with the statues? There is literally no way you did all this in 6 hours alone. Edit: I did this reasonably fast solo without help and it still took me nearly 10 hours. Hell it took almost an hour to find an empty Albion server with the houses still intact. I don’t know if there are major differences in player bases and map pools, but on pc I feel like its impossible to do this in 6 hours alone even with a high end rig for low load times. There are also hackers on pc specifically looking for both Zeebrugge and Soissons servers with 1 or 2 players, just going around and killing the people trying to do the easter egg and essentially making you have to hop servers and start the phase over.
@Z3ZP Zerbrugge was a pain, I had to load into like 8 different maps, until I realized I was standing on the wrong water tower lol. Morse translator is a godsend. Only got griefed once, and that was by someone on ballroom blitz when I was trying to find one of those stupid little marks. Ended up going to another server. I wasn't exactly alone, my friend was passed out behind the couch. (Weak, lol) but when I was doing the light puzzle, an absolute legend came in (I thought he was gonna grief me) but instead he plugged a hole in the wall with a tank so I could see the puzzle easier, and double checked my sandbag map. Then I was having a hell of a time on an escalation (got a good server first shot somehow) but couldn't decipher the Morse for the life of me. And that absolute legend joined as a spectator, and told me what It was by ear. Went and entered it, sure enough he was right lol. The mine was a pain... I died 5 times... but in the end got to the end. Watching this video inspired me, so I think I'll make one. Well, I'm already doing it. But specifically one for the peacekeeper side quest. In the video I'm doing now it's pretty much a throwaway joke lol

If I was in a literal blood fest aka "the great war" which advanced in weapon tech so much, it's staggering to even comprehend how quickly it advanced in 4 years, and was given a colt SSA (single action army) while you got dudes running around with self loading handguns and fancy new submachine guns and trench guns, I'd legit play russian roulette but with all 6 rounds
1 shot to the head same stats as gasser but with way more hipfire rpm and accuracy (gasser is already the best non-peacekeeper sidearm) faster reload this weapon is peak and I'm glad I own it (I completed this all in 1 day btw)
Not the same stats, but closest equivelant. There are multiple differences setting them apart. Also, the best sidearm is a matter of perspective and is highly subjective, but most of the upper skill bracket players will say M1911 is the best sidearm, hitting most breakpoints easily and not being awkwardly overkill. It also has no glaring weakness or hindrance going against it.

On paper its amazing, but because you’re playing scout, its just massive overkill for finishing, doesn’t hit many good breakpoints and its stats aside from damage and mag size are not good. Obrez is just simply fun, nothing to do with it being better than competition. It has that nice sweetspot up to 13 meters iirc, but aside that, it is clunky and unreliable. It is hella fun though. Its hard to define a meta for sidearms because its mostly preference, but like I said, if you ask any upper skill bracket player, they will most likely say that M1911 is the best, even if they wouldn’t use it. Edit: Auto revolver is actually very good considering breakpoints specifically for the medic and it doesn’t suffer from the hampering reload time of most other revolvers aside from No. 3 and Mark VI. Oh and Mars has significant range for a pistol, but that is rarely a quality you look for in a sidearm, so its pretty negligible positive trait.

I'm really happy that it's not like Battlefield 4 with the Phantom Bow. Only possible to find the dog tags in active rounds (which is difficult in itself), at least 3 others who have the other dog tags and the required camos and then all this just to find out that the bow can easily be found somewhere else for free and then the bow isn't even that op.
