I hate how Cenk treats warfare like a video game.
He’d suck at Call Of Duty. Imagine the “No Russian” scene with him playing it. He’d refuse to fire and scream, “You’re murderers!” and get shot for blowing cover.
The idea anyone would want Cenk for president is insane to me.
I think a lot of us are more guilty of this than we think. I spoke to an Israeli citizen who lives in a border city once and when I learned these people literally live with Hamas rockets firing into their city 2-3 times per week like it's normal, it made me second guess their common sense, then my own. The dome catches most of the rocket fire but too many rockets or just a stray flying funny means a few get through sometimes and usually means a destroyed wall. But because the rocket fire is so ubiquitous, every home is fitted with bunkers and their early warning systems means that you aren't in any real danger as long as you move to the bunker as soon as the warning goes out.
But still, I can't imagine living with that...
He treats it like Civilization and even in Civilization....Cenk probably would get rolled by some other country AI
@murphoithegameguy3924 No.
Cenk amd his nephew are really bad at debates
Why do you disrespect Hamas Picker?
@@filbertovandetteand his patented "conservative DUHHH! " voice..... And "SHOUTING!".. don't forget the "SHOUTING!"!
They see themselves as Mark Hamill in a galactic battle against Darth Vader. But, they think Darth Vader is pretending to be JarJar Binks. So they’re in a constant state of pretending the world is right on the verge of Darth unveiling himself. In reality of course, as they are fond of saying, it’s complicated. But to them, only their own views are complicated .
of course
Not only debates, basic thought and reason is far beyond Hamas Pickers capabilities.
I am always entertained by people being surprised that everything Cenk says swings between deceptive hyperbole at best and slanderous attacks at worst. He often does both in the same sentence. I can’t wait for the boys to forget this and be surprised by the next Cenk video
Runs in the family.
Something about Cenk is just soo funny to me. He has al these ticks and mannerisms that are just hilariously once you start noticing them. Also when he gets mad and starts screaming is just fantastic.
Is a bit like leftist Alex Jones 😂
I totally agree with you. Cenk is just so damn entertaining because he is just a buffoon. His rants are designed to get more clicks and it seems to work. The man could careless how he is perceived and for that alone my hat goes off to him.
@@byrons1339 he did at one point but he knows everyone sees him as a joke now so he's embracing it. absolute buffoon w/ no shame lol. now he's running for president after getting 6% in the congressional race w a million dollars and name id looool
The conversation of "occupation" switches quickly from Gaza to the West Bank and back when convenient
Heated debate isn’t necessarily bad, as long as the point comes across, but as far as Cenk goes, he couldn’t get a proper point across if he was calm, and when he gets heated (more than usual) you’d expect fighting to break out…
Ah socialists fighting among themselves. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
The whole thing Cink described is a Siege when he talks about the cutting off of supplies and sending over rockets.
Israeli here. I love you guys, and agree with most of your views, there are though some main points you are wrong on.
You view the west bank as a totally different case when compared to Gaza. It is not. You rightfully mentioned the Palestinians repeated refused peace offering, but that is only one part of the equation. Cenk says the only viloence in the west bank is done by the settlers, that's an insanely false claim, terror attacks were coming out of the west bank all throughout Israel existance and even before it was established... On settlers, on non settlers in Israel major cities, everywhere. By Hamas and by Phatah (PLO military branch) and before that by Arab mobs (do you know that the Jews lived continuously in Hebron for thousands of year until in 1929 their Arab neighbors came and butchered and raped them quite like 7.10, what was their exuse then? There was no occupation. And it happened in multiple places. Did you know there were Jews living in Gaza in the early 20th century? They were also butchered and thrown out before the "occupation".
And then you call Jews that return to those places (not thousands of years later but a few decades later) illegal settlers. If that is true then all we have to do is expell all the Palestinians and wait long enough so their legal claims who be void. Oh, wait, the Palestinians are the ONLY refugees in the world that legaly keep their refugee status even after their are settled in a new country... And the only refugees that legally transferr their refugee status to their kids and grandkids to the end of time... No joke, check it out. There is a UN refugee law and organization for all the refugees in the world and there is a seperate law and UN organization for Palestinian refugees... Why is that? How are they different from all other refugees in the world? You will find no logical answer. The answer is its related to Israel and the Jewish people. There is no escaping that. I challange you to find a different logical reason.
It is made specifically to keep them refugees forever. Making this insanely complicated issue completely unsolvable.
Regarding the separation of the Palestinian people from Hamas. Obviously there are innocent people in Gaza and in the west bank, and we Israelis need to do our outmost best to try and keep them safe while fighting Hamas, and we do, I challange you to find another western country (and don't even talk to me about non western countries) that go for the lengths the IDF goes to to spare innocents, you won't find one, and that is not even a just comparison becuase our wars the past 75 years are existancial while most other western wars the past decades were being fought on the other side of the world... And still we did more to protect innocents...
BUT, the fact there are innocents there does not allow a vast precentage of Palestinian people wash the blood from their hands, many many Palestians support Hamas... You think it poped out of nowhere? Even now after 20 years of brutal rule of Hamas in Gaza there is around 70% support for Hamas in Gaza, and in the west bank? The support is similar if not higher... There is a reason the were no elactions in the west bank for many years... They know Hamas will come into power like it did in Gaza.
Its natural to think people around the world are like you, that most people just want to live in peace. Its very hard to accept that there are people in there world, and quite a lot sadly... that truly herondus and murderous points of view. But there are. Radical Islam is a real thing. And its not an uncommon phenomenon. There are countries that most people in them hold those views...and sadly the Palestinian people are one of them.
Do you know that it is completely accepted among Palestinians (and some Israeli Arabs sadly) to murder your sister if she has a boyfriend before marriage becuase they see it as bringing "dishonor" to their family. Imagine a culture that this is the culture norm, can you? Can you understand that people that think that just simply might not be good people...? Its hard to think like that, but its the truth. All we want is to make peace with those among them that are not like that, and there are many, but we will have to fight first the many who are freaking murderous maniacs, exuse my french.
@Sitch & Adam Show @PSASitch 39:04 Hamas IS in the west bank, they have ammo caches, recruitment operations and…
their presence however is significantly stronger in Gaza.
the Fatahs (current rulers of the PNA) simply don’t have the control or support to governor the west bank

The Crisis of Hyperbole is in Full Effect on Both Sides of the Debate.
“Israel takes the MOST Measures to reduce the Number of Civilian Casualties...”
“NO!! They take the LEAST Measures of ANY Country!!!”
This is a Golden Example of what I am referring to when I mention “The Crisis of Hyperbole” in which We are currently embroiled.
Actually, I think Israel factually does take the most measures to reduce the number of civilian casualties, from what I've read.
We are? What country takes more Measures to reduce the Number of Civilian Casualtiese when they at war?
@@KraszuPolis Maybe I should’ve explained myself better, because that wasn’t my Point.
By “Crisis of Hyperbole”, I was referring to a Trend that I have noticed in the Behavior of MANY People (myself VERY much included), where We have started to speak in a Manner that is HEAVILY hyperbolized, and I believe that it is actually having a Serious Impact on the General Discourse, because it has a Tendency to raise the Stakes of the Discussion and increase the Tensions.
Like, for Instance, I’m sure that you have heard People say something like, “THAT was the BEST Movie that I have EVER seen in my ENTIRE Life!!”, even if it was just a Good Movie. Or “OMG! I absolutely LOVE this Shirt! It is simply INCREDIBLE!! What a STUNNING Work of Art!!”
Or alternatively, “(Generic Republican Politician) is LITERALLY Hitler!! He is a Demonic MONSTER who wants Homeless People to DIE, because he voted AGAINST the UNIVERSAL Healthcare Bill!!”
This Style of Speech has become more and more prevalent, at the Same Time that People have started to believe that the State of the World is ON THE BRINK OF COMPLETE COLLAPSE!! And basically, I don’t think that this is a Coincidence. I believe that it has had a Transformative Effect on the Perspective and Mentality of the People who have unwittingly allowed this Hyperbolized Speech to seep into their OWN Life (again, myself included, which is what originally prompted me to start thinking about it as a Crisis).
It has almost made it so that NOTHING seems special anymore, because EVERYTHING is framed as if it is the MORE AMAZING thing that has EVER happened to Humanity as a WHOLE!!!
@@pariah_careyit also makes small gains seem unimportant. “Yeah our thing will reduce bad things by 5% per year.” Well that’s not near enough! Things are terrible now and we need relief right now without it MILLIONS will die. Until someone with reason comes along and explains that a 5% decrease is the best one can hope for than it’s all good. Than you give it a week and someone with no credentials will slander that reasonable person because it’s not happening fast enough!!
In a perfect wolrd, people wouldn't have to kill eachother. Like your guys said, war is innocent people dying while hoping that some bad people died too. Its tragic.
@@SacClass650 i meant in regards to good people whether they're involved in combat or not.
@@josesosa3337 What are you replying to?

So just shrug at any action done it war, we can't reduce civilian deaths? Ignorant monster.
Watch the star Trek episode A Taste of Armageddon.
A civilized war would last forever.
Cenk and the the other guy are like "PEACE. I WANT F***ING PEACE. GOD DAMINIT. PEACE. I mean you can be passionate and calm at the same time.
Cenk has a totally fantasy version of the history of Palestine. in 1948 the Arabs owned 20% of Palestine and the Jews 7%, the other 73% being under British mandate or foreign ownership. Prior to that the Ottoman Empire 'owned' the entire region. When it came to dividing up the non-owned land, in 1948 the UN drew up a map based on areas of Arab and Jewish occupation, which the Jews accepted, and the local Arabs rejected and sparked the 1948 war. Local Arabs plus armies from 4 neighboring Arab states (and contingents from 4 more) tried to exterminate the Jews and lost. When you lose a war, you can't ask the guys you tried to exterminate to be nice to you.
I am so uber confused. If hamas leadership is in qatar. Than how is hamas in prison? If its the palestinians who are. Than why not go after hamas leadership directly in Qatar?
5:00 then its not a prison lmao
As far as I'm concerned there is a an occupation in Gaza, it's by the Gazans.
This is the one topic I can honestly say you’re both beyond biased. You’re making an effort, but you’re both way off.
They're not biased..they are spitting facts
@@manofculture584 lol. Nope. Not even close.
21:23 If you escaped a prison or a concentration camp, why would you ever flee back into it? However you want to describe what happened on October 7, it wasn’t a breakout.
If you really don’t want to be met with a “Disproportionate Response”, then I would strongly encourage you NOT to ATTACK a Country with the Military Capabilities to respond disproportionately.
I mean, it doesn’t seem like Rocket Science to me...
So if cartels kill a US citizen that gives the US the right to kill Mexican citizens?
@@StickyFinguz So the military has the right to bomb your house and kill your wife and kids?
Hamas:40k fighters
Palestine: 2.2 million citizens
@@StickyFinguz Exactly. The Pro-Palestinian Left have an Obsession with the Concept of Equality (except they would call it “Equity”, even though that is basically the Opposite of Equality). Like they EXPECT a War to be a Perfectly-Proportioned Affair, where they keep a Running Tally of the Number of Casualties, to ensure that they aren’t disproportionately impacting the Population on One Side of the Conflict or else they’ve broken the Rules of Engagement, which means that that Military has to take it easy for a bit, until the Other Side has attained Parity and then they can go back to fighting at Full Capacity. 🤦♂️
Last I checked, Palestine had a population of 5,3 million …
If someone can turn off your power and your water, it might behoove you to not commit war crimes against them. To the extent that the Israelis can do that, they have not done that for no reason.
"Gaza is an open air prison" What if the Egyptians allow them leave? "Then Israel would take the prison for themselves!"
Tremendous cognitive dissonance in the rhetoric.
Lol, they keep crying about how cruel israel is yet cry about how israel is cutting off the resources THEY were generous enough to give them in the first place. It's all about the inability to assess honestly, these people are children and should be ignored.
Hamas != The Palestinian people
@@stuartbrown3070 yes but not. at the end of the day, they elected them even though they literally murdered the opposition right after lol
@@gorkasillero This wasn't in their platform at the time of election: it was 17 years ago. Were they supposed to be psychic?
@stuartbrown3070 Yes, and the Nazi Party was not the German people in WWII, but they controlled the government of that state. When a government makes war, especially a war they cannot win, the people are going to pay a price. Also, then Hamas' attacks against Israel were not in the interests of the Palestinians, right?
Just because you can't cross the borders doesn't mean you are in a prison. I mean, Swiss isn't in the EU and before the treaties they needed to apply to get into other countries and could get rejected. Was Swiss an open air prison as well?
38:45 maybe the Islamic countries should not have been irrationally hostile to Israel
Cenk's way of comunicating is ponderous... I used to think he was bad faith but now think he's limited
You can tell he's just in a constant state of arrested development, the way he shakes his head "no, no no" to actual information then fabricates nonsense in his mind to protect his ego in typical toddler behavior. His responses don't even make sense because he doesn't need to for his positions. The guy has a legitimate mental illness, i wish i knew what it was because it's quite fascinating.
Cenk vs Hasan will be the final battle of Breadtube
"Wait, I'm pretty sure my state government can cut off my power and water ..." *slow, yet deliberate and stuccato Malakian guitar riff chugs*
I hope when Cenk is president, he'll end the occupation in the south and allow the Confederates to raise their own army and elect their own commander-in-chief. That would be the progressive thing to do, I think.
That's why everyone remembers Abraham Lincoln so fondly, that time when he put his foot down and said "No, no, no, Sherman, just send in the special forces. There, it's easy."
It's annoying to see after months of Ukraine-Russia weighted casualty numbers people make the same mistakes with new current thing. Not surprised but disappointed.
What I don't get is how you can hear the 500 dead at hospital, get all the information, find out the explosion happened in a parking lot and 2 people died, and keep believing the incredible numbers.
Well, people like me have been invested in this 'thing' for as long we've been aware of politics. It's not the 'current thing' to me and others like me but the influx of crazies supporting both sides have made a lot of my side insane (looking at you Ben). It's kind of disturbing because I sympathize with the no more wars crowd and recognize they have a good point but I can't really talk about it with others because no matter what they freak out.
Pro-Palestine folk love to start the history around 37 even though the history of jewish migration started long before that. Jews had been living there during the Ottoman Empire but were a minority and before the empire fell, European jews started the migration there in the late1800's , buying land from the Ottomans. they legally and peacefully acquired their land, and when the Empire fell during WW1 Britain gained control and promised the land to both Arabs and the jews, and when the Holocaust happened they decided to give it to the Jews. The jews were willing to just keep the land they had legally bought and let the Arabs have theirs but the Arabs decided to go to war, winner takes all, and then lost. Peace isn't possible as long as the Palestinians believe in this fake history/narrative that says the entire region is theirs.
I've noticed Destiny has been delving into the history lately, and it's been entertaining watching him come to the realization that the charitability everyone has been giving the Palestinians is a bit undeserved, because they've been incredibly unreasonable throughout the entire history of this conflict.
As someone who lived in Israel for many years and speak the language and know the history, and have arab friends from the west bank, it's been pretty relieving to see someone actually go through the history and educate themselves on the conflict, and still recognize the bad Israel has done, but see that the bad from the Palestinian side far out weighs Israel's misconduct.
You can also go way back to when the Romans kicked the Jews out after the Jewish-Roman wars because the Jews kept rebelling against Roman occupation, this is when it was renamed from Judea to Syria Palaestina.
@@syzyphyz you could, but I feel that is a weaker argument for both sides, cause how do you prove that either of the jews who came from Europe and around the middle east or Palestinians are direct descendants of the original Judains/Israelites. The fact is that all countries and empires were created through warfare and conquest, so I would argue that the Ottomans and the British were the last rightful owners of the land prior to Israel, and the fact the Jews acquired the land from both is the strongest argument for the Israeli side.
And the fact that the Arabs of the region only started officially identifying as Palestinians in the mid 1960's ads to the fact they weren't and aren't a real ethnic group, they were all just considered Arabs back then, and the original mandate of Palestine included what is now Jordan, and one of the original partition plans was that the Arabs get the Jordanian side, but the Arabs on the Israeli side didn't want to live under Jewish rule, and didn't want to leave either, and we've had this stupid conflict since.
@momo1234368 seems believable especially looking at Islamic history just massacring India Hindus, fighting Christians in wars, literally trying to spread beliefs like wildfire along side with radical that are following the beliefs... I'm honestly surprised why people can't fact check onto the news.
With just listening, this sounds like cenk is arguing with the rat from ratatouille.
Hey now!!
I hate that people are sitting here condenming israel for bombing territory held by an enemy force in war as if this is somekind of unprecedented level of force that's never been seen before rather than what is to expected in any modern military operation, what people need to understand is that hamas started a war, they are the ones who are at fault. In my opinion any argument against israel would have to be based on the geneva convention.
Why did netanyahu help fund hamas?
I hope TYT keeps going the "heterodox" route if only because it's more entertaining. That it's using people's desire to hear talking heads yell at each other to trick them into hearing new arguments is just a bonus.
It's pronounced 'jenkem chugger'
No it's chunk yoghurt
I think that every time Cenk starts yelling, you guys should I put his voice through a filter that makes him sound like a squirrel.
Calm and passionate debates have the same value, entertainment. And that's basically it. We're not solving the Palestine/Israel situation. There have been efforts towards peace for longer than we've been alive. Whatever sides there are in the conflict, they don't want to stop fighting. Asking them to stop doesn't work, making them stop doesn't work. As atrocities pile up, they spring up in western news cycles, and most people in the western world would like to see a peaceful resolution, for the atrocities to end. But it's not our choice to make. So yeah in the meantime we'll watch people argue about it on our screens, maybe even learn about the subject to see what kind of resolution there could be. But we're not going to do shxt, and soon enough something else will happen to captivate our attention elsewhere. There is no value to any of that theatre.
I'd rather watch Sitch and Adam's take on AoT finale.
Peace in the middle of the east is just a stones throw away.

Ben Gleib isn't Israeli. He's a Jewish US-American. BIG difference, esp. concerning this debate.
Hegel wrote of the telelogical nature of history which is history can be viewed as a process that lead to a just society. Cenk and people who take his position have to rely on anti-telelogy, which allows him to ignore any historical event that doesn't count as evidence for his position, and he gets to pick and choose when history begins. Therefore Cenk is right when he says Israel has to end the occupation, since Israel right now in 2023 is occupying Gaza and since occupation bad, there is no good reason for Israel to invade Gaza. He also seems to believe history in the Middle East started in 1948.
Tunnel fighting makes WW1 trench warfare look like a joke. It doesn't matter if they're special forces or conscripts sending unsupported soldiers into kill corridors set up by the enemy is just plain idiotic. War is not about being fair. If they fuck around you make them find out.
Did you say they have a Howitzer at the end of a tunnel?
it hasnt been an occupation since 2005 or whatever, but after this war it WILL be one, anf there will also be massive numbers of refugees, hopefully theyll go to egypt or camps and not be foisted upon the west,

The settlement only started after the Palestinian refuse peace and continue the attacks against Israel. The problem is that is very easy to a Muslim to become antisemitic. This war is not religious in the Israeli side, but for the Arab/Palestinian is only about religion and the denial of the Jewish state. And if a Palestine state exist in the best case it would be a failed islamic state, in the worst case scenario they would use the state to attack Israel, the problem is not that a Palestinian state doesn't exist, but that Israel exists.
The Muslim world have not a mighty makes right morality, but a mighty makes divine, but they are weak, we only have more Arab/Palestinian deaths because Israel is more competent, if the Arab have half of the resources of Israel they would try to commit a second genocide. So in this region we have a group that is antisemitic, misogynistic, homophobic, racists, basically Nazi, question anyone really believe that is possible to live in peace with a Nazi. The childishly idea of return to the 48 borders when were the Arabs that refuse. The only mistake that British and Israeli made in that region was not knowing what Arabs believe, because if they knew a 2 state solution would never be proposed, and the only thing that a 2 state solution would achieve would be Arabs/Palestinian flee to Israel, because a Palestinian state would be anything, but a place that you would want to live.

Exactly right about the United Nations: they may not have influence over rogue entities like Hamas, But they should’ve at least demanded the release of the hostages anyway, if only to appear as though they hadn’t taken sides in the conflict. In fact, that’s the first thing they should’ve done… now it just looks as though they believe Hamas was justified in their actions, and Israel needs a handicap to make it a fair fight.
