I have finally managed to finish this whole video series! It's much longer videos than my usual ones, but they explain all the steps in much more detail. Several people asked me about doing a more comprehensive tutorial videos, so I hope this will help a lot of you guys and that you will like it. Let me know if you also enjoy longer videos like this one. Thank You. More episodes coming up shortly! In next few days.
Thats Awesome brooo! looking forward to see this. This is incredible, you are making whole new series. Furthemore ur content and the approach is very high quality, much appreciate to you! i learned so much, still valiable in 2021
These are really good guides! I just finished episode 3. Trying to animate a robot character I made :) it is a little challenging because the robot has special attachments on the legs that need extra bones, and the arms aren't symmetrical. Fortunately my robot doesn't have a face, so that part saves some work xD this series has brought me far already!
Hey MC, Thank you so much for doing these. I am doinf fps games but i am always confused about what the curves are people tweak and how to make animations less floaty and more impactful. For instance how do i make sure which camera fov and placement to use and how to make the gun point to the middle of the screen? How to properly use IK. Maybe those will be answered. Im a max user but there isnt alot of resources so i am really keen to check this out
I downloaded the 3d model but it's just black? 3dsmax asked me to convert the scene or something, and textures were missing? I seem to not have the vray dlr?
@ i have learnt bone tools for character rigging, but from your tutorials, i am gonna learn this technique looks flexible and easy to me , bcz i think we dont need , reaction manager, parameter controller and all, in cat
Hi, I’m very new to character design and animation as my background is in arch viz. once I have designed my character, rigged and skinned, what the best way to animate realistic movements? Are there motion capture plugins? That can track my movement and then use that data to link to the bones?
Upon research I could use deepmotion to capture and export a Biped file, but then can I use the Biped file with CAT or do I have to rig and skin with Biped. Sorry my knowledge is very limited in this topic. Appreciate your help. Thanks
I also started learning character design, with some background in arch viz :) Just finished rigging my character & gave it a test animation so I can start skinning. Did you end up finding a nice solution to do motion for your character? I should be working on motion in a couple weeks, so hopefully we'll have good advice for each other!

Any suggestions for UA-cam channel video tutorials about 3d modeling and texturing
I downloaded the 3d model but it's just black? 3dsmax asked me to convert the scene or something, and textures were missing? I seem to not have the vray dlr?

It depends on your needs. But for me, in most of the situations - yes, it is.
