- It amazes me that Raylen grew up to be somewhat "normal" given the father he had. We take a look at the life and times of Arlo Givens. Entertaining for sure, but one of the worst Dads to grace the screen.

Arlo is very talented....he could take a class show and almost make it irrelevant in a few scenes!

Yes I have - just this week. I've only watched a few episodes but it sure gets your attention! Chiklis is great.
@@ReelClues The writing and acting in this show are phenomenal. Vic/Shane vs Claudette/Dutch. Chiklis should have won tons of awards. Goggins and CCH are the hidden gems. Even the guy that plays nerdy Dutch is great.
Fair warning: It is a violent, racial and dark show. But, it's not gratuitous, just very well placed for effect. I still don't know how FX got this on tv, even for the early 2000s.
I need to rewatch it.

Absolutely - he does have a bit of his father's "don't give a shit" attitude, but that's where the similarities end.
I’d rather watch the scenes without the running commentary.
We would love to just put up the clips and have people watch them too, but UA-cam frowns (really hard!) on that.
Arlo is being impuned here. What about the love caring and sound judgement?? What about the contrition and regret??? Redemption for Arlo. caring loving Arlo. His only crime was he cared too much.
