The reason it does not have as much excitement is that it is not based on a Jedi or Sith. If you take the Jedi/ Sith/ Force out of the Star Wars story, it is a space rpg. Those typically do not do as well as more traditional fantasy rpgs (knight/ dragons). If you look at the game most anticipated, it was Jedi Three. A story focused on Jedi/ Force/ Sith, that which makes the Star Wars universe special. What people really want is a killer Sith story, just no one has the cajones to tell it.
I can give a crap if it’s a male or female protagonist- mysteries of the Sith was a female led game and I loved it. For me it’s the pet. Every SW game / movie / show these days has to have a little cute critter companion and it takes me out of the fantasy personally. Grogu was well written and had a story. But now it’s like every Star Wars protagonist has to have this adorable creature / droid assistant. Disney needs to take inspo from Dark forces, Shadows of the empire, mysteries of the Sith, Jedi academy, and remake a modern version where you can create your own character with your own choice of species, gender, lifestyle and have a set of planets to explore companion optional.
If you think “baby yoda” was a thing to make the story better, you’re dead wrong. You HAVE to sell “merchandise” which means cute little plushy toys. Baby Yoda was put into the show for the same reason the Ewoks were put in….to sell cute toys.

I'm definitely interested but I need to see more. I thought it was a good start but we have barely seen anything it's too early to tell. And i hope we get a mission with the Commando Droid as he looks cool too.
As someone who played the division 2 for over 3 years massive creates immense beautiful worlds and I can't wait to see what they do with one of my favorite franchises. As a StarWars fan, This would be a day one pre-order game for me however in light of Ubisoft as publisher I think I will wait a week or two before buying the game and check out feedback from other Starwars UA-camer fans on gameplay, story and performance especially from DigitalFoundry. For me, Jedi series has been the best StarWars game to date. Respawns has earned my respect and love for their work. I can’t wait for Jedi 3. I do understand where the community is coming from in regard to Ubisoft. I too was a bit let down when I learned that Ubisoft has anything to do with this game. I’m not much of a Ubisoft fan; their history and track on quality games are not inspiring for me but EA hasn’t done justice for StarWars as well so I’m hoping Ubisoft takes learnings from Respawn and puts out true to the StarWars universe and dedicated to StarWars Fans.
@@creationfied Yeah I could and doing that is a smarter option due to again being published by Ubisoft than automatically pre-ordering it. I may end up doing this just to see how the community provides the feedback by other StarWars UA-camr creators and experts by the likes of Digital Foundry in game performance. I will edit my original post and state this. It’s a wiser choice to wait a week or two before ordering it. I’m just excited to see new gameplay and another (Hopefully 🤞🏻) awesome game in StarWars. However Respawn Jedi series (1 & 2) has been the best yet for me. I can’t wait for Jedi 3 to come. LOL!
Very much looking forward to Outlaws. My favorite Star Wars games were TIE Fighter, Rebellion and Dark Forces II. Outlaws presents something unique in Star Wars gaming, the ability to be a Tramp Freighter Captain with some open exploration and trading (I hope). I have high hopes for Outlaws.
I just dont understand how they could cancel the Kotor remake. Like you have a guarantee win right there. baldur's gate just won game of the year, its a year for games like that and they coulda jumped in on it. but they decided to pass on this money. Stupid.
Massive is a Ubisfot Studio, and other Ubi studios are involved in the game. Ubisoft is not just the publisher but the developper. Also the game use their new engine (same as Avatar)
But I can make that argument for every game walkthrough ever. I can’t think of the last game walkthrough where I was really impressed and knew I was getting a cool product.
ill put it as simple as I can, the people behind this project only ever shout from the rooftops that the character will be a 'strong female woman etc etc etc', the usual talking points that tell us this is based more on identity politics than enjoyment. Meet you back here when the game releases
Im always excited for star wars games but ive learned to be wary as most games haven't delivered. Jedi fallen order and survivor though has given me hope
What concerns me is Ubisoft's approach to the open world genre, which I grew tired of because of its repetitiveness and artificiality that often leads me to be burned out more than entertained. If Outlaws ends up being FarCry with a SW coat of paint, then chances are I will be disappointed. The gameplay makes me somewhat optimistic, as actively traveling to different planets, which have their own respective areas, seems quite different to what Ubisoft has offered so far. But well, from what I hear, the Avatar game is exactly what I'm fearing Outlaws will be...
@@alexwilliams4729 Red Dead Redemption 2 and Breath of the Wild. No saturation of icons or repetitive activities on a map, just a sandbox to be lost in and discover things at your own pace.
@@Dass_Jennir RDR2 have some interesting side quest, but 85% of the game is mission goes side ways, now you have to shoot 50 to 80 people in a town with the population of 115. Make it geographically correct, then it would be a different story. Plus I swear to god you don’t need markers or a map in any of them just turn on the game and go north, east, south, or west (in siwa, Norway, or kapheladonia) you’ll never get bored. RDR2 level side quest
@@Dass_Jennir you saying having there own respective areas is different for Ubisoft tells me you don’t play there games. Wildlands, breakpoint, far cry 5/6, A.C games, the crew 2, riders republic all exhibit that on an ambitious scale for being on Xbox one & PS4.
@@alexwilliams4729 I mean areas as in entire different planets and biomes, which you will actively travel on your starship. This has potential to triumph where Starfield undelivered. Saying that about RDR 2 is a tremendous oversimplification, even if you spend your time shooting at people who don't deserve it, it will reflect on the honor system and the ending you will get.
I wish Disney hadn't alienated me as a life long Star Wars fan. It has nothing to do with a female protagonist, it has to do with the repeated bad content and contempt for Star Wars lore. I'm way passed the point of hoping Disney rights the ship. Apathy officially set in after Kenobi for me.
The main problem with "Ubisoft games" is... gamers. There are 3 types of gamers. The first type prefers not the game but interactive movie with easy but nice-looking gameplay like RDR2. The second type prefers choreographed gameplay with missions executed in the form of linear puzzles. Jedi Survivor is such a game. The third type prefers as much freedom as possible. They don't like scripted missions. They like to take an objective and determine how to reach it themselves. "Ubisoft games" are for the third-type players, that's all.
I understand but isn’t this what made 1st Jedi so popular? I played both and it was fun to me. I can understand the cut scenes during boss fights can be a bit much but then if this game doesn’t have all elements then why do you have? Game has something for everyone no? Also it’s a short term game not long term like Starfield, no Man’s Sky, SW KOTOR, LOTR, MMG that has updates and releases. Here player base can have input on games development. Would rather explanation to games like this, add new planets etc, quests released ever six months rather than new game every 3-5 years. Good luck to all.
Ubi games lets be real arent for anyone anymore thats whybthey fail and dont find audiences these days. Ubi is so out of touch ita games fail and it blames the gamers not themselves
in 1977 me my brother and two cousins walked down to the state theater to see the first star wars movie a new hope and I was the only one out of 4 of us that liked the movie and I absolutely loved it I went to see it 6 more times and I'm equally excited to play this game and I will be getting the ultimate edition.
I dont know whats confusing... a star wars game, where you're playing a female just doesnt hit as well as playing as a male. Im not afraid to say it.. the poll proved that.
Super skeptical about all upcoming Star Wars projects. I’ve always wanted a more grounded darker take on the Star Wars universe and Star Wars 1313 was the last shred of hope for that 🤷🏽♂️
The 2000s was the golden age for Star Wars games. The Disney era of Star Wars games hasn't been great. Both Jedi games were good, the scam called Battlefront 1 & 2 was a black stain on the name, Squadrons was good but it was a small game. I miss the time when we got 2 or more yearly games most being great.
The Outlaws gameplay footage was not inspiring at all for me. It made me think "Forspoken with a Star Wars skin". It was uninspired combat and a young female protagonist making stupid comments every ten seconds. That was what killed my excitement for it.
I'm confused, the official gameplay trailer got 3.7m views and is sitting on 107k upvotes (pity we can't see downvotes, damn oyu YT!) Comments that I scrolled through are all positive
The gameplay showcase looked amazing, just like the showcase for Watch Dogs Legion did, and many games before that, Ubisoft has had false gameplay many times before so it is about trust. I have enjoyed many Ubisoft games but that don't mean that they have lied in marketing
I don’t know I don’t think that this Star Wars open world game is going to go well most of the time you have to have different character races to have a large amount of replayability
I wish Sony would sell the right of star wars galaxies and them make direct sequel with today modern graphics. I think that would be a total money maker
Judging any game by the larger publisher, as opposed to the actual dev studio, would be like judging Jedi:Survivor on EA, instead of the actual developer.
Which people did with Jedi Fallen Order. It wasn't until AFTER the game was released that EA became a non-issue. And even then it kinda was with Jedi Survivor and the game being released when it was obviously incomplete.
Ubisoft own massive tho and made massive respawn already existed just got bought by ea so their devs are a little pocket of good. Massives made the division games which are fairly good but they suck at balancing etc avatar was just far cry blue planet, and we know anything ubi touch is tainted ea has learnt to let their devs cook and obly ruin their own games not their studios games cause when they have stepped in its flopped or got worse reception than it could of. Ubi is vety much a habds on publisher more so cause they made the studio as well. 2 different sides to the same coin
I actually want to play this game and curious as to what possibilities in star wars outlaws I almost expect you to do more that what you think from this game.
I I’m glad other developers can have a crack with stawars ip there are great possibilities ahead With Star Wars game in different genres like loot shooter rpg. Racing brawler fps survival etc
Biggest problem for me with Star Wars games going forward are if I'm not wielding a light saber it doesn't feel like proper Star Wars and the other one is where's Revan??? Give me Revan already KOTOR remake or not I need Revan and that goes for the movies too. Where's our Revan saga?? Absolute gold material in their hands for so long now and done nothing with it instead just hurting the Skywalker saga. The most iconic character since Vader is there to be delivered and all up to now nothing
I have no problem with Ubisoft, but I just don’t prefer playing as a female I preferred to customize my own character or I preferred to have the choice of who I want to be. I don’t like to be dictated on how I play and who the character is that’s why I like games like division 2 you can customize your character however, you want and it’s your story. Another reason why I don’t like this game is because we were robbed of a perfect Star Wars game with so much potential Star Wars 1313 a young Boba Fett that’s what we would’ve got but we were robbed of a good Star Wars game. Everybody probably would have preferred to play as a young Boba Fett on the lower levels of courasant.
the gender locked protagonist thing isnt a ridiculous thing to be disappointed by just because you dont understand it. people enjoy video games for different reasons and for me personally as well as lots of other people; I need to play as a character that I can like, can relate to, and aspire to be like in order to immerse myself in the world and the role of that character. If I dont chime with the character Im playing as, it can prevent me from getting into the game enough to enjoy it. In this case, im a man, i like being a man, im happy with being who i am, i know what its like to experience things from the perspective of a man. I want the option to play as a man, because I want to project my self onto the character im playing. the lack of a male option really knocks the likely hood of me buying this down to 50 / 50. But its not just female characters. I also didnt like the way GTA 5 forced me to play as either 1 of 2 fat balding middle aged men or stereotypical black gangster. in that case at least the characters where fun and well written
I agree, but since they have taken this approach I just hope we don't end up with a Rey like character. Because most girls can't even relate to a character like her.
So far it looks pretty sick honestly. Im super in if we get mess around in the star wars galaxy without being constrained previously explored narratives.
Im just not as excited for this game because it looks and feel really similar to Jedi survivor, taking place in the same era between episode 3 and 4. Except the main character is neither a jedi, a bounty hunter or a Mandalorian. The game is call outlaw, so does that mean you get to do crime ? Well kind of, but the character again is a goody two shoe who wont work for the empire, carrying with her a fluffy plushy available for 39,99$ at every Walmart lol.
hello its been awhile I agree we need to support this game and give it a chance what I like about star Wars outlaws We can actually fly the ship there hasn't been a star wars game where u can do that in years but u are right if we dont support this game at all and not give it a chance it will be years until we get another star wars game im also on the fence about it but im willing to give it a chance
I don't really want to play as a quirky female character it breaks the immersion for me. I'd much rather have my own custom-made outlaw character even if I was limited to just female. I'd love to make my own female character with a personality I can choose through dialogue rather than the Disney Marvel quirky female character that's so overplayed now.
The argument at 9:48 I feel like is not really a good take, yes we did just get Jedi Survivor but thats also a Jedi focused game, I personally dont want to play as a jedi nor a character that is pre established, so for a lot of people I'm sure its not solely based on the fact the protagonist is female but the fact its a character thats got a backstory, I've wanted to play as a non jedi character in an open world starwars game for ever yet I'm gonna be waiting god knows how long until I get that game, nothing wrong with having a female protagonist either, in the end i just want to be able to customise my character, its already annoying enough that most games outside of starwars don't have the ability to do that besides the few games like cyberpunk or BG3 why cant starwars just get a game like that To be fair there is probably some people out there that hate it just cause women but your argument is ignoring the bigger issue that people take with the MC and again I dont think saying "we just got a male lead game" is a good defence, especially when he was also a pre established character from the first game and had backstory and is a Jedi which surprise but not what everyone wants to play as
I like to put my self in the main character shoes for games like this and i cant imagine myself as a bad ass bounty hunter when the main lead is a girl i love women but i cant imagine myself as a girl unlike some of us in this day and age 😂
Outlaws looks like it’s trying to give us less gimmicks and more of what we truly want and it seems like it’s pretty true to Star Wars. Honestly the more I look at it, the happier I am.
d little we have seen on Outlaws looks gud but we need t see more and some advice wud b t make sure d main character is a well written and likeable character.....thts so important, we all remember forspoken right ??? d hate for d main character ws so insane it outright killed d game
Thank you for your awesome content Lunar Squadron. May the force be with you. I really appreciate your channel being one of the more positive Star Wars channels on UA-cam. I am tired of channels like Star Wars Theory, who all he does is complain and whine about Star Wars. I am really excited for Star Wars Outlaws. I think it will be a nice change of pace to play as a non force user in Star Wars. Star Wars is more than just about the Jedi and Sith.
I think this game looks very promising.. I think I’m more hyped for Eclipse as it takes place during the high republic, but excited to play both.. I think most gamers are just tired and fed up with Ubisoft, they’ve been putting in game ads to their full priced games and have been known to add a lot of filler content just to sell gamers xp boosters xD
So many content rats who call things doomed to fail 1 year before it even releases just based on gut instinct. People really need to learn to appreciate new games, movies and shows and not point out the negatives instead of praising the positives and innovations. Star Wars fans are embarrassing
I’m a casual game player and I’m not a star wars fan at all……..I WANT THIS GAME!!!!!! but I want eclipse more because it’s from quantic dream and I love their games.
On female protagonist: Lara Croft, Mara Jade in Mysteries of the Sith, nah, with a good writing, not a problem. After all, many males create female characters in MMOs :-) My worry: performance/bugs on release day - something that plagued Jedi Survivor.
Theh should have did like the odyssey assassin creed where you choose male or female any time a game forces a female protagonist only i cant fully delve into it i cant put myself into it ive never preferred a woman when playing it helps to be able to relate to the protagonist and with the way this is i would prefer to play a male and have option for female role its going to be a great game with how it looks and the premise behind it i just feel I’ll probably only play once n probably wait until its on sale literally dont care that ubi made it they have a good past on some stuff and like said with the advancements just in survivor hopefully the game will make me change mg mind id just prefer to be able to choose a male version so i could feel fully into the game but thats just my thoughts
It looks cool , i would just like cool outfits like dress , skirt ,pants styles that fit into the game and be able to change hair styles and colors at least to kind of make the player more yours
The problem is not it being a female protagonist, The Problem is in a Game Like Star Wars It Has Many Many Species/Races Of Humanoid Beings so many paths to take so many stories to be told.. So Why are we always Being forced To Play as Someone els Character? Like What about My Character? Our CaC “Created Character” it just doesn’t make sense. I didn’t buy the previous Jedi games because of that same reason, imagine giving us a GTA like open World Star Wars Game Without CaC.. Sounds Pretty Dumb right.
Do we get a space Vespa? Customizable with unlimited mirrors? I mean dude. I have zero interest in the games that have been announced. Zero. The fact that my SW fandom has gone from “camp out for midnight release” to “I dont care anymore”, that probably has something to do with it. Outlaws looks like straight up trash. Sorry, not sorry.
A a starwars fan, I just want a game where I play as a rogue commando droid. This game reminded me that they won't give me that. Battlefront 2 doesn't count.
No game is “destined” to fail. We’ll just have to wait and see. I’m remaining optimistic, the gameplay I’ve seen looks like I will enjoy it but we’ll see. I personally like a lot of Ubisoft games.
all we need is a open galaxy game were i can start my own company or join empire etc and have my own star fleet with fully explorable shipv and like visit planets and buy homes or land on those plannets, star wars GTA
Idk why you guys are making a pig point to separate massive entertainment from Ubisoft. Ubisoft ownes the studio they have full control over them. they aren't an independent studio in any way. At the end of the day the game is created in a Ubisoft board room with return on investment at the forefront of the priority list. The game may end up being decent but based on the history of Ubisoft I would expect more of the same
I plan to pre-order Outlaws. I think it will be the closest thing we'll get to the Star Wars Elite, Wing Commander: Privateer, or Freelancer type game I've wanted since the mid 90s. I still hope there's a new Rogue Squadron/Starfighter style game coming, and that the strategy game is more Empire at War or Rebellion then Galactic Battlegrounds
The thing with male or female protagonist is easily avoided. Just give the players a choice on male or female. Mass Effect, Fallout 4 and Cyberpunk 2077 did it very successfully. Most game development teams try to avoid this because it means your paying to make two main characters plus the voice actors, assuming its a voiced protagonist. They take the stance that this extra cost means less profit. What they don't consider is that more people are likely to buy the game because it offers this feature and will satisfy gamers by giving them a choice.
I need this game to be good. I'm going to need at least 50 hour story + 50 hour explore 😂 multiple reasons to play through morally and detailed immersion please
I don’t get it, that gameplay demo looked great, maybe idiots with agendas, I’m looking forward to it, it’ll give me an excuse to turn on my series X for the first time in almost two years
With Outlaws they should have left it up to a character creator, Also i believe the concern of PC nonsense is a real you can't tell die hard fans not to be concerned where dev's or movie studio's take creative liberties and drastically insult the player base, Most of us want a Kotor^esque styled in game universe where the player shapes the narrative of their adventure through dialogue and/or actions. (Let's also not pretend the demographic study doesn't exist for who will/Always be playing/supporting these games)
Its funny how people hate Ubisoft mostly blindly... i love AC, i love Far Cry, i love open world rpg games with full of contents... and i love Star Wars too, so iam gonna play the shit out of this game, i dont care how many people talking shit about it before (or even after) release
It's not because it's made bg ubisoft. 😂 It is litterally because of the female protagonist. This game looks like 1313 and bounty hunter and people loved those. Same thing has happened with multiple games and movies now.

Respawns has earned my respect and love for their work. I can’t wait for Jedi 3. I do understand where the community is coming from in regard to Ubisoft. I too was a bit let down when I learned that Ubisoft has anything to do with this game. I’m not much of a Ubisoft fan; their history and track on quality games are not inspiring for me but EA hasn’t done justice for StarWars as well so I’m hoping Ubisoft takes learnings from Respawn and puts out true to the StarWars universe and dedicated to StarWars Fans.
why would you pre order? cant you at least wait like a week for more player/non sponsored reviews to come out?
LOL!
Avatars was far cry with new skin so will this be unfortunately follow the pattern
Hope leads to disappointment.
Id temper that hope and excitement its what feeds the abuse machine that is ubisoft and allows them to spit out trash like skull and bones etc
Perfect opportunity to do Star Wars Bounty Hunter 2 as an open world Boba Fett game but went the new trilogy way instead
After Boba's last small screen outing I'd imagine he's laying low.
personally im very excited for star wars outlaws
The Star Wars Outlaws open world gameplay reveal and walkthrough screamed 7/10 at best.
But I can make that argument for every game walkthrough ever. I can’t think of the last game walkthrough where I was really impressed and knew I was getting a cool product.
Sometimes walk throughs show potential,
this one just looks like it has a low ceiling@@johnhudecek5667
idk looked more like a 5 at best to me.
I was trying to be gracious @@zomgpie2
ill put it as simple as I can, the people behind this project only ever shout from the rooftops that the character will be a 'strong female woman etc etc etc', the usual talking points that tell us this is based more on identity politics than enjoyment. Meet you back here when the game releases
That is exactly what will happen.
Im always excited for star wars games but ive learned to be wary as most games haven't delivered. Jedi fallen order and survivor though has given me hope
But they had a decent main characters this is going to be woke crap
@@louditalian1962how is it woke crap? Edplain ur bullshit.
What’s a good open world to you?
@@alexwilliams4729 Red Dead Redemption 2 and Breath of the Wild. No saturation of icons or repetitive activities on a map, just a sandbox to be lost in and discover things at your own pace.
@@Dass_Jennir RDR2 have some interesting side quest, but 85% of the game is mission goes side ways, now you have to shoot 50 to 80 people in a town with the population of 115. Go pay your bounty and everyone forgives.
Breathe of the wild is a simple version of orgins, valhalla, and odyssey that’s why you don’t need markers.
I can’t feel like a badass outlaw when I have to change my super absorbent tampon in the middle of a blaster fight
Star wars fan tries not to be misogynistic challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
I’ve always wanted a more grounded darker take on the Star Wars universe and Star Wars 1313 was the last shred of hope for that 🤷🏽♂️
If we were playing as the droid I would be way more excited. He looked badass.
"oH, hOw MiSoGoNiStIc Of YoU!"
I'm confused, the official gameplay trailer got 3.7m views and is sitting on 107k upvotes (pity we can't see downvotes, damn oyu YT!)
Comments that I scrolled through are all positive
Just take a peek at the comments on this video. So much unwarranted negativity surrounding a game that hasn’t even released yet. It’s a shame.
you can... get ''return YT dislike extension''
The gameplay showcase looked amazing, just like the showcase for Watch Dogs Legion did, and many games before that, Ubisoft has had false gameplay many times before so it is about trust. I have enjoyed many Ubisoft games but that don't mean that they have lied in marketing
...You just have to realize when you are in a bubble and are simping for certain products. It is okay to admit you have low standards.
😂
I would play it. I liked Survivor until a glitch kept me from progressing. Some day I'll finish it. Sucks that Outlaws won't be playing at a Jedi
Do you do realize Star Wars is more than just playing a Jedi, right
I I’m glad other developers can have a crack with stawars ip there are great possibilities ahead With Star Wars game in different genres like loot shooter rpg.
Star Wars fans are never satisfied
For real
Well said👏🏼
Agreed
Agreed.
I agree, but since they have taken this approach I just hope we don't end up with a Rey like character. Because most girls can't even relate to a character like her.
This my exact thought
U saw avatar….the division… U know what to expect from them…..
Review first list
Looking forward to getting star wars outlaws game for ps5
I actually can’t wait to experience the details & new aspects
The argument at 9:48 I feel like is not really a good take, yes we did just get Jedi Survivor but thats also a Jedi focused game, I personally dont want to play as a jedi nor a character that is pre established, so for a lot of people I'm sure its not solely based on the fact the protagonist is female but the fact its a character thats got a backstory, I've wanted to play as a non jedi character in an open world starwars game for ever yet I'm gonna be waiting god knows how long until I get that game, nothing wrong with having a female protagonist either, in the end i just want to be able to customise my character, its already annoying enough that most games outside of starwars don't have the ability to do that besides the few games like cyberpunk or BG3 why cant starwars just get a game like that
To be fair there is probably some people out there that hate it just cause women but your argument is ignoring the bigger issue that people take with the MC and again I dont think saying "we just got a male lead game" is a good defence, especially when he was also a pre established character from the first game and had backstory and is a Jedi which surprise but not what everyone wants to play as
I'm excited, but I'm cautious. I won't let hype hurt me again like BattleFront Classic Collection did.
I like to put my self in the main character shoes for games like this and i cant imagine myself as a bad ass bounty hunter when the main lead is a girl i love women but i cant imagine myself as a girl unlike some of us in this day and age 😂
Same. :/
😂
Same.
Yes please, more Star Wars, all day, every day, all the time, for all time
Outlaws looks like it’s trying to give us less gimmicks and more of what we truly want and it seems like it’s pretty true to Star Wars.
I hope it is good but, the actress I have issues with and the dialogue in combat are not funny. Jedi Fallen Order, was great.
Just like Avatar was a shabby Far Cry. SWO is probably going to be a shabby Assassin Creed.
i'm not sexist i just want to have the freedom to choose between male and female😶
I prefer the old republic, high republic is trash
Do you play the games or are you just repeating what you heard from Luke Stephens?
i just want a mandalorian game is that too much to ask for
So many content rats who call things doomed to fail 1 year before it even releases just based on gut instinct.
After all, many males create female characters in MMOs :-)
My worry: performance/bugs on release day - something that plagued Jedi Survivor.
We don't want to play as a strong female boss. That's why a lot of people are not excited.
If the character is written good then we will love it.
I have really high hopes for SW outlaws ❤️
It would have been nice if if there was character creation
This game looks like it has a ton of potential and I’m excited for it. I just hope it isn’t hallow and we have a true adventure like KOTOR gave us.
So, whats the best Star Wars game so far? I havent played many of them.
Dude said Star Wars gaming literally 25 times in 1 minute lol Jesus
A a starwars fan, I just want a game where I play as a rogue commando droid. This game reminded me that they won't give me that. Battlefront 2 doesn't count.
No game is “destined” to fail. We’ll just have to wait and see. I’m remaining optimistic, the gameplay I’ve seen looks like I will enjoy it but we’ll see. I personally like a lot of Ubisoft games.
It's rather sad that the first Star Wars single-player game with a female protagonist is being attacked by some for having a female protagonist.
all we need is a open galaxy game were i can start my own company or join empire etc and have my own star fleet with fully explorable shipv
and like visit planets and buy homes or land on those plannets, star wars GTA
Jedi outcast remake would be awesome, or something new with Kyle Katarn
Followed you guys for Jedi Survivor and and will for Outlaws too! 👍
I can't wait for this ! I can care less about all the bullshit as long as its fun with great story telling.
It could be very cool if it's a game where you play Mando story before the tv show or even Boba Fett, how he became THE legend 😊
Idk why you guys are making a pig point to separate massive entertainment from Ubisoft. Ubisoft ownes the studio they have full control over them. they aren't an independent studio in any way. At the end of the day the game is created in a Ubisoft board room with return on investment at the forefront of the priority list. The game may end up being decent but based on the history of Ubisoft I would expect more of the same
Yeah idk why he tryna to trick us like they are not Ubisoft studios
I plan to pre-order Outlaws. I think it will be the closest thing we'll get to the Star Wars Elite, Wing Commander: Privateer, or Freelancer type game I've wanted since the mid 90s. I still hope there's a new Rogue Squadron/Starfighter style game coming, and that the strategy game is more Empire at War or Rebellion then Galactic Battlegrounds
Actually…Baldurs gate III was the hottest commodity of 2023
The thing with male or female protagonist is easily avoided.
Facts
I need this game to be good. I'm going to need at least 50 hour story + 50 hour explore 😂 multiple reasons to play through morally and detailed immersion please
I don’t get it, that gameplay demo looked great, maybe idiots with agendas, I’m looking forward to it, it’ll give me an excuse to turn on my series X for the first time in almost two years
Dude, play baldurs gate 3
You’re welcome.
@@griffithandy2950 I tried, it wasn’t for me
I tried, it’s not for me
Let us create our character!
Ubisoft.. Blizzard, Bethesda.. The Triad of the Kiss of Death.
It is litterally because of the female protagonist. This game looks like 1313 and bounty hunter and people loved those. Same thing has happened with multiple games and movies now.
I forgot this game even existed. I still rather have bf3 or even content bright back to bf2
So whats the controversy?
Hey Kay the Snakes said your not going to do good in sales and game play experience .
what do you think !
tell them Snakes I got the 4K Power Sweet Nectar in Star Wars come pop it for me 1-Love
i see your soon
It looks like it's gonna be amazing
I cant wait for star wars outlaws 😅
Dit anyone notices all those games take place in the classic era of star wars. So not in the rey and reylo time line
The elephant in the room: it's very likely woke until proven otherwise. This IP has a reputation
I guess we can say we the high republic times 😂 on Star Wars gaming only hardcore Star Wars fans will get that
