I didn't know there was pink tourmaline I only thought it was black but both are beautiful. It looks like fun digging there. Enjoy watching your videos!
I started to collect Crystal again this year on Christmas this year!!!

In 10 years I not ever ever collect any types of Crystals yet!!
I used to mine here in the 80s. Maine is full of minerals. Over 1,500 different minerals in Oxford County where the mines are. I would love to go back and do some more mining. I am glad that you were able to mine here.

Love that Maine tourmaline. The history of Mount Mica is what gets me. First spot gem tourmaline was found in the US. And even though it was first mined over 200 years ago you can still find treasure there today.

My daughter and I took a field trip today to Mount Mica. Got to talking about this very video, that was posted the day before. A gentleman by the name of Patrick said, “did you see the Rock Fairy?” My response was, “yeah, what hell kind of name is that anyway?” After sticking my foot in my mouth, Patrick who I later found out, is the Rock Fairy, made sure my daughter was able to see some really good colors. Thanks for the successful dig Maine gems, we’ll be back! The Rock Fairy is a stand up guy looking to share his knowledge and help everyone have a successful dig.

Hello Bryan, looks like you found some of nearly every type of crystal they have there my friend. I'm not a lover of the colour green except in nature and there's nothing but natural about with crystals lol. That large piece of Aquamarine you showed us is gorgeous so was the piece of mica with the crystal in it. If I were fit I would be saving like crazy to come and dig with you, so I look at my crystals here instead lol. Great work and video of course. But 2 days ago in Maine in November and you can still wear short sleeves?! Wow. I'm down here in Virginia looking to move to a much cooler area and I thought Maine would be the best choice but I guess not. I have always believed that by the second week in November that Maine would be covered in snow. You're sweating!

I have jewelry made from gemstones found at Mt Mica. I want to go up sometime to find some stones myself. Only an hour away so I'm a slacker for not having been yet. Mt Apatite also has gemstones and it's almost close enough to walk to
Yes! My absolute favorite crystal ever! My father grew up in Maine, but I have never been there. Only state I have never been to. Mostly because I don’t get along with his family. They dislike me because I proved our Mi’kmaq ancestry and am enrolled in a Canadian tribe. They have spent generations trying to hide it. I do wish I could travel there now that I have seen this, unfortunately my health doesn’t allow me to travel. Dig your videos though!
I can't travel due to physical difficulties and yet, like you, I love tourmaline. My dream would be to rock hunt around the country, but have to suffice with videos!

Hey I was seeing your old videos on youtube with frank perham as mr. amethyst guy. So cool to see you back in the old days... I was like," is that one of the beegees." I was watching one of your older tourmaline videos the other day when you bought the 4 bags in cali. Then I was thinking of looking for tourmaline. Then you have this video this morning. Very cool. The land that's mapped in my area says there is black tourmaline. I'm in Arizona. If there is black tourmaline is there a chance I'll find other colors of it?
