Nice project Mike. I have made a similar jig and use the Shopsmith biscuit cutter for small boxes. Adjust height with quill. Would work for the thickness of this frame, but spline would be pretty short.

absolutely. But the purpose of this video was to show using just the table saw to come up with the frame.
