Would it have been easier and perhaps more accurate to rabbet the boards before cutting the miters, thus only needing four miters to minimize the room for error? Just a thought. Thanks for the detailed video. Always helpful. Blessings, Glen

absolutely. But the purpose of this video was to show using just the table saw to come up with the frame.

Nice project Mike. I have made a similar jig and use the Shopsmith biscuit cutter for small boxes. Adjust height with quill. Would work for the thickness of this frame, but spline would be pretty short.
