    Nazanin Bahraini is a Clinical Research Psychologist and Director of Education at the Rocky Mountain MIRECC for suicide prevention. Her work is focused on designing and testing implementation interventions to improve the dissemination and uptake of evidence-based practices in suicide prevention in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). She has worked closely with the VA Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (OMHSP) to develop and implement national suicide prevention programs and initiatives, including the VA Suicide Risk Identification Strategy.
    Dr. Bahraini will discuss the largest population-based suicide risk screening and evaluation strategy implemented in any United States healthcare system. She will describe the three stage screening and evaluation process and highlight strategies employed to facilitate implementation of this national program.
