Intro to Comprehensive Suicide Risk Assessment | WJC Military Discussion Series Ep. 2

Nora Drane, LICSW, a Suicide Prevention Coordinator at the Bedford VA Medical Center, joins the William James College Military and Veteran Psychology program for a discussion of suicide risk assessment within military and veteran populations. This event focused on the state of suicide as well as referral services and interventions for our military and veteran populations. Presenters also addressed the fear and concern providers have about approaching suicidal thoughts and behaviors among high-risk patient populations, the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and the Comprehensive Risk Assessment Tool.
