What a great informative video thanks.I have the same issue with my 2015 Nav poor starting and a P0380 error. I'm going to replace both the controller and the plugs as its now got 140K on the clock
there are not enough words to thank you . it was really awesome and i have the same issue now i am very confidant to solve the issue because i don't have the wiring diagram at that time.
Wow great walk through for sure! Well done keeping the camera on your other hand for the whole video! Precious info there, +replying here! Going to investigate a P0380 error on my 2012 Pathfinder tomorrow. Cheers from France :p
Hi, currently having the same issue however when i check the 4 pin plug there is power going through it, for the first second ignition is on it's a bright glow and then light is reduced, any ideas? I've replaced plugs this morning to no avail
Great video with a lot of info... I've had this done a few months ago, then the problems started again, had the glow plug relay changed a second time... Then the next morning with a frost it wouldn't start at all... Is that the glow plugs themselves or a faulty fitting on the relay?
Excellent walk through, thank you! Planning to follow your steps this week to investigate a P0380 error on my 2012 Navara. One question though, which ports on the glow relay were your oscilloscope in when you were testing continuity on ECU terminals 131 and 137? Obviously I can't actually do the ECU signal test as I don't have an oscilloscope, but I'd like to check the wiring anyway. Cheers.
i have only 7-8v on each plug - plug no4 - 0v - the engine start but the engine it does not hold idle, when the temperature of water start to heat it's ok
Did you know other solution for p0380 nissan d40 I check all the circuit change relay and 4 glow, erased code, bud still como back the check p0380..... Car don, t lose power...
Your a hero!!
Been chasing problem for 6 months. Good simplified explanation. With thanks

Im from Chile, saludos.
Check the resistance from the 4 pin plug behind battery to ground, one of your plugs may have a bad wire/connection
