If you want to go above and beyond with the Rit Dying dye it apple green, then spot dye or tie-dye random spots brown. Then you have both macro and micro patterns.

I have a set of Izlom patern (Russian take on Flecctarn, but with more tan and light green.) It works very well, especially in the early season, for example, against dove.

All these hunting "experts" have so many tattoos, that acts as a camouflage in itself.

Oooo that’s my next tattoo idea! Do you think Realtree would sue if I got one of their patterns as a sleeve? If not zebra stripes are my back up plan. - Ian

I never claimed to be an expert, I'm an amateur at best. I enjoy sharing and teaching what I do know. I will forever be a student of science and conservation, and sometimes, tradition.

ACU is great at half dead grass, Ugly furniture, and gravel at night.

If you liked the russian camo you should check out the finnish M05 pattern which the russians copied from, the availability for M05 pattern gear is excellent from Finland in multiple different cuts and materials, easily the best dark woodland hunting camo.

Bottomland looks very similar to the strichtarn (rain) pattern used in the Eastern European countries. (I’m not super knowledgeable about origin)

Is that Sumrak pattern? I have that, too. It blends really nicely with jack pine, moss covered rocks and tree bark. I like Russian stuff. It's pretty cheap for what it is and it looks different.

Have the army digital patter, bought the Proper. brand. Gonna try dying them, either the green dye or a coyote. They're really thin cotton compared to USMC marpat wood or desert.. Are the Russian IR comparable being reversible?
Have the Czech rain pattern that has this IR. Thnx ,stay healthy 2020.

Both Proper and Rothco offer different blends in terms of thread, so thickness may vary. The Russian Spectre camo is very comparable to the USMC digital woodland (MARPAT), but the material of the Spectre sniper suit is extremely thin, the thinnest I've ever worn, but surprisingly durable. Thanks, stay healthy!
