We have many things in common, I also read the Stoics, also read Cal Newport and others, and also live outside my country of origin (Brazil, been living in Germany for ages) :-) One question: what do you recommend when you have blocked time for a task but you are in this situation of total anxiety and fear because you have no idea how to tackle it, and also have a deadline, so that you on top of that need to be efficient!? Hi Giselle, it helps me to break down the difficult task into smaller steps and write those down and when I block the time, I would write the specific smaller steps next to it so I know what exactly I am tackling during that block of time. Putting all of it on a paper and seeing that if I stick to it, I can manage it on time, helps me keep my mind calm and I am able to concentrate on the task ahead.
What do you struggle with most when it comes to focus and concentration?
