Many so-called 'experts' had proclaimed the UAE 'B Team' as the weakest link in his bid to win the Giro. But they have proved themselves more than equal to the task. Other than Pog demonstrating complete superiority over his rivals, it was a revelation to see riders such as Laengen and Bjerg able to remain at the head of the peloton group and pull so hard for as long as they did on Monte Grappa.
