New to your channel and it's become one of my favs!!! Wanted to recommend a product that's helped me with the same issues you've had with powder for under eyes. It's the By Terry Hyaluronic Powder. The one that has a pink tinted to it is surprisingly really nice in the under eye area, and then I use the lighter one for all over the face. This powder is literally the best!!!!! Expensive, but worth it.
If I don't have shades eq brand. I have paul Mitchell PM shines. What level should I use for a bleached hair with dark roots (1inc). She wants to go caramel/ brown. I love how your hair came out.
I love this deeper color I have green eyes and went blonde the past two years I can see my eyes look brighter with my darker hair It makes your eyes pop as well
Absolutely stunning brunette hair, I always though blond hair looked cheap on you. I love your darker natural looking luxurious hair, you look so regal 🙌
As a color specialist I assumed it would work on y skin tone, but i have to admit I was quite skeptical right before shampooing it out. Thanks for watching lovely!
Would you ever consider doing a video or series that people could send in photos of themselves. You could analyze and help suggest colors and cuts? I’m struggling with what do to with my hair. My amazing colorist is great, but tells me I can do whatever I want. I want to find what truly flatters me and “goes” with my undertone (which I also struggle with). Love the look and your content!

I would need to see and learn more about your hair than from just a message this is why doing a video explaining what to do without having had a thorough consult could possibly make the information I give you very inaccurate. Hi Sylvia, I watched this video about five times to help me get up the courage to do this. I saw the new M series so I used 7m on the roots, pulled it all the way through the back and sides, then did the top and front last, combing it through to the ends before washing it out. It canceled any faded coppery tones I didn’t want and added an incredible depth to my color, it also muted any gray I have at the root/crown area. I’m absolutely sold on doing this in between permanent color to freshen up the tone without having to do everything every time, thank you!
@@babycakes8434 it faded enough so that when it was time for my next full root touch up and highlight I just did it like always. It was a great middle of the month refresh made it look like I did the full color job
A small thing I really appreciate about this videos, Silvia: the amount of time between “so, let’s go for it” and the brush touching the hair lol! The cool attitude might be due to you being a professional, but it’s nice to not waste time on “aaah!”, “I’m so nervous!”, “idk if I should do this!”, “no turning back now!” bs lol ❤️
When the blonde specialist says she wants to be a bit darker, shit gets real 🤣 I was like Nooooooooo at first, but it turned out amazing and you look beautiful as ever!! 💛
well to be honest, let's face it, Elle has done so many chemical treatments with bleach to her hair that it has become lifeless.. I understand why she now wants to give it a break...
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! Being able to do such a beautiful job on yourself, now that’s real talent! I wish you went brunette and posted this two months ago. I had a horrible experience in May at my salon wanting to go more brunette. 😪 I told my stylist that I wanted to add some lowlights but leaving out many of my blonde pieces for contrast. Well, she barely left out any blonde and the combination of the brown she added next to my blonde left my hair looking........GREY!!! 😫 In fact I work at an elementary school in the lunchroom and I had so many little kids comment on my hair. “what did you do to your hair?” “ Why did you spray paint your hair grey”? “ I like your grey hair”. I wanted to cry!! 😭
Omg im going thru the same but the hairdresser i went to left me w these super dark brown lowlights along w another type of brown and what was supposed to be a pretty blonde with dimension turned out to be a muddy dull color! Went to a 2nd hairdresser spent a small fortune and even though this hairdresser said she'd get rid of the lowlights, all she did was give me a few more highlights on top but i still have the ugly muddy color/ lowlights! There's no getting rid of them!
@@Mary-it4om Yep! I hope yours doesn’t look grey like mine does. I called my salon the next day and asked for a redo with no charge. I was very nice about it though. My stylist called me a couple days later and told me that it wouldn’t be a good idea to go in with more blonde this soon. She said that it could make it look more grey at this point or even orange. So I patiently waited with this color on my head for two months. I went on June 16 and she added more blonde but not enough to totally fix it. 🤷♀️
I would love to see some videos where you use Sally’s Beauty products and/or also give similar recommendations for what you use that’s comparable at Sally’s Beauty specifically, where a lot of us DIY’ers get supplies! It’s hard for me to ever get my products right because I cant translate what you use to Sally’s options! Love your videos & you! Thanks for all you do for us DIY’ers! 💛✨
Sally’s doesn’t make professional color and the difference is very important. I don’t think Sally’s offers semi permanent toners either and that’s what Redken Shades is essentially. She does it this way so that it’s not permanent and she can easily go back to the blonde whenever she want to. Just a general rule for professionals is that we don’t recommend unprofessional hair color and so we don’t promote it.
Shades EQ is the best! I use these on 99% of my clients and I love that since it’s a Demi-permanent color it lasts longer than a semi-permanent would but without the commitment and dullness of a permanent color. And the shine it gives the hair is a big plus!
This tutorial is basically saving my hair life right now! This is how I plan to eliminate serious demarcations from my current extreme color levels and getting my hair stable enough to withstand growth and the Summer until I decide to lighten again

I love this on you! Definitely going to try this myself! My hair is about a level 6 with approximately 30% grey and lots of highlights, but it's looking very washed out. Will the Shades EQ lighten my natural color at all like a normal toner usually does? I would just like to tone down the all-over blonde look. ☺
Sooo my stylist has suggested using a gloss for me to darken my hair. (I'm quite blonde, but crazy so yanno I want it to be darker - but not forever) Will it compromise my blonde when I'm ready to go back?
You look gorgeous!! Amazing color, It's actually great for me that you've made this video, i'm going darker my self today (7) , doing the root Shadow(6A), and you made me confident with my decision
If your hair is overly blonde(level 10)- you’ve stripped all the pigments from your hair. So slapping on her formula will likely not turn out as hers did. First you would need to add in those pigments that you stripped- I would go with an orange (copper) and maybe a yellow (gold) with the levels in between 10 and 7… So maybe like an 8C/9AA/8GG as a filler. This will add in those copper/warm tones you need. After that is washed and dried..then you can go in with a formula like hers using a level 7. That will give you a smooth canvas and will knock out any unwanted green/muddy ash tones. Good luck! :)
Love Love Love the result 🤗 and recommendation how to get such a natural result on white hair which are going to become more, and are more visible on dark hair?

Looks great. I thought you had to add pigment to blonde hair (red or copper) to go brunette. Does the 7G work as the pigment added? Thank you
It does. If you add gold it will fill in and balance. It’s helpful if you are worried about going to ashy on over lightened hair.

Love it! Think I will keep my blond a bit longer, but need to try this sometime..
I love how this turned out. I'd love your opinion on how I can do something like this with my recently overly blonde hair.
If your hair is overly blonde(level 10)- you’ve stripped all the pigments from your hair.
So slapping on her formula will likely not turn out as hers did. First you would need to add in those pigments that you stripped- I would go with an orange (copper) and maybe a yellow (gold) with the levels in between 10 and 7…
So maybe like an 8C/9AA/8GG as a filler. This will add in those copper/warm tones you need. After that is washed and dried..then you can go in with a formula like hers using a level 7. That will give you a smooth canvas and will knock out any unwanted green/muddy ash tones.
Good luck! :)
