Cycling Track Men's Sprint Qualifying Full Replay from the Velodrome at the London 2012 Olympic Games. -- 4 August 2012
Jason Kenny (GBR) qualifies fastest in the Men's Sprint.
Cycling is among the rare sports that have always featured on the Olympic programme. Road cycling, however, was not on the programme of the Paris 1900, St Louis 1904 or London 1908 Games, while track cycling wasn't in the programme of the Stockholm 1912 Games.
The first road event in Olympic history took place in 1896 on the marathon route at the first Games of the modern era in Athens. The race started in Athens, headed towards Marathon, then returned to Athens, at the Phaliron velodrome.
Olympic cycling was added to the women's programme in Los Angeles in 1984, with an individual road event.

Dude, with training and courage, we could do anything!
Not all ppl are lucky to do that. All by Allah's will.
Only 0.000025% of ppl got this kind of facilities.
@@RSO-IV what?
@@RSO-IV You need a bike + gym membership. You're doing 12-30 second efforts on the bike, sets and reps. + Going heavy in Squat Rack. When it comes to the track side, if you get selected for your national fed, then you will be supplied with all the coaching and equipment to become greater.
Them stickers on the back with their numbers look quite draggy when not stuck down properly

What game is that
lol, ouch
ratio?
Can anyone tell me what the transmission ratio used on these bikes is? ex.: 53x11??
People use whatever is comfortable for them. Not everyone uses the same gear ratio. Since the sprint event is short and they don’t have to accelerate too quickly, usually riders opt for large ratios.
they will all probably be running 59-63 tooth chainrings and 11-14 tooth sprockets
In bikes it's referred to as a gear ratio.
@@desertrainfrog1691 ok, thanks.
14 teeth cog or more they don't ride less than that as it creates wayy too much friction
They don't have breaks?
Yes
jo mana they are riding fixies, which means their drivetrain is fixed with the wheel so instead of braking they slow down by slowing the crank down.
The best Pro you saying that just shows how dumb you are
No, they don't have breaks. They have to do it all in one shot. They don't have brakes either.
@@Vinnicombe1 they literally dont have breaks wdym?
oh…
サガン様は神 LOVE 俺の昔のコメントや!
てかこれにコメしてたっけ?
I just realized that those bikes they have are going at around 4 revolutions per turn. And assuming they have 26 inch bikes the circumference is around 7 ft or so. Within each time, they do around 2.5 of turns every second. This means that the fastest speed should be around 45-50 mph if I stand corrected.
Now that right there is all in the design.
Do all of your videos have unlistenably quiet commentary?
