Bridgerton Screwed Kate Sharma (A Kanthony Rant)

The tension b/w Kate and Anthony was amazing but there were a lot of mistakes. First off the show treated Kate like a villain, secondly, they didn't put the effort into her backstory and they didn't invest in their emotional connection. Heavily influenced from Miatta Lebile’s season 2 review.

I agree that Kate was villainized, and got a lust story, not a love story. The season was entertaining but I didn't care for the love triangle with SISTERS. The show writers underdeveloped Kate's story in favor of more screen time with "Cousin Jack". Enjoyed hearing your thoughts.

I'm late to this, but I completely agree. I loved Kanthony in the book and Kate x Edwina's sisterhood. But the show crapped all over it. And to make the Sharmas women of color just to make them fight over a man. I was disgusted by season 2.

They took the emotional aspect out of their relationship and replaced it with a love triangle and sexual tension.
