Just received mine this afternoon. Prepped and applied it to the windshield of a ‘15 F350 Superduty. Extremely simple & easy application and finishing. The only thing that this video neglected to mention was the 4 hour cure time before exposure to moisture(rain, snow, etc.)
UPDATE - Not impressed. Water repellency is VERY disappointing. Water beads up but does not freely run off the glass. At 70mph big beads kid of walk up the windshield. Super grabby stuff. Again, VERY disappointing. It rained all day from Portland to Whidbey Island and I spent the entire time pissed at how the Adam’s “Advanced” product was failing to perform as advertised. The day after that trip I called Adam’s to inquire about what could have gone wrong. I was told to let it flash for 10-15 minutes instead of 1-2 minutes. Did that last night in a 61° garage and let it cure inside for 10 hours. Raining hard this morning and still the same result. This stuff is $35.98 garbage.
A lot of times products like this require a topper. Ik it stinks because of the cost but I had a heck of a time with 303 graphene until I used a topper extreme solutions makes one called topper. Other then that turtle wax is synthetic spray wax also works well to add slickness and even some depth. Good luck
The flash time will vary based on temps and humidity, the higher for either the shorter/less time it needs. Also, it behaves differently on glass than paint before removal, it is very difficult to see the rainbow appear and then dissipate. Sounds like you may have removed it too soon. What prep did you do?
love this stuff. really no need for true glass coating with this since all my customers are maintenance washes I just decon wash and light clay and reapply another coat to rejuvenate. its amazing. one of the few truly great affordable coatings that doesn't necessarily require full blown correction. though that only helps. I recommend that for 1st time application only
I have used many bottles of the OG Graphene Ceramic Spray. So stoked that you guys came out with it in the advanced formula. I did three cars with the OG formula so far this week. Gotta get some of this new stuff ordered. You guys are my favorite. Thanks.
Love this product so far. Going on 8 months with this coat and it still has that mirror gloss and beads water like day 1. Though I do use the graphene detail spray from you guys every other wash. I get complaiments constantly from coworkers. Love it!
I have been using this Graphene polish on my car for over six months and the product does give my car a glass like look and slick finish rain just rolls off as I drive down the road.
I just got mine gunna try for the 1st time ever doing a ceramic coating. But I'm confused, this guy says wipe off after the rainbow fades, but the bottle says allow 1-2 min to dry until u see the rainbow.. So which is it?? Wipe off after the rainbow fades or when it forms?
I applied the advanced spray ceramic on my car and I’m so thrilled with the results I want to use the full GRAPHENE ceramic now. Can I apply that over the spray ceramic or should I just live with the spray coating that’s on the car now?
Hi P D, you could apply the full graphene ceramic coating on top of the advanced spray coating, but it will not bond as well or last as long. We would recommend waiting 6 months or so, as the spray coating begins to wear some, to then do a thorough decontamination wash, prep, and then apply the full graphene ceramic coating 👍
DO NOT USE THIS ON THE WINDSHIELD. other windows yeah, but the wipers grab the windshield when raining not “gliding” across the glass smooth. Did this on two of my cars.
Have a questions, just received two bottles of Advanced Graphene Spray(BOGO deal). One of the bottles is a clear liquid, the other is a black liquid, when applied it goes on black. Emailed Adams, and they say this is normal. Why the contrast between two bottles. Should the product be black / staining? Anyone else encounter this?
I have some Carbon Fiber trim running across the front of my forward most dash, on the doors, and Center console area in my B9 Audi S4 , I was just looking at the scratches that have shown up and was looking to find a product that I could use that would help protect from scratches when I detail my interior, I just ordered this spray. I CANT WAIT to use their scratch remover and hand polish I bought from Adams and then coat my Trim 😃
Since you spray the cloth, why not just use the 5 year product? I mean, you use an applicator for both, but you have to re-do the spray-on product every year (for an outside-parked car). Is it easier to use? More forgiving? I don't get it?
from what i’ve seen, the formula is less concentrated, meaning it’s a bit cheaper and you don’t have to be AS careful when applying. In my case i’m considering using this product because I don’t have a polishing machine for the prep, and I’m kinda of scared of not applying properly since it will be my first time. I think it is not a great deal to not use a polisher in my case because my car is 6 months old, if the car you are applying this to hasn’t been polished i suggest to ensure the vehicle is polished before application.
You can, but it is not necessary. When layering ceramic coatings the law of diminishing returns applies. They add a UV tracer to make sure the application is full and even.
Hi Marc, ceramic spray coating has a very strong smell due to the solvents, similar to ammonia. Many of our products smell great, but spray coating will cause a burning feeling to your nose and eyes and could cause a headache. Once it is atomized into the air with the spray trigger, the scent is not as strong. Our Graphene Glass Coating will hold up longer and be more durable on glass, but the spray coating can be used on glass if you do not have the Graphene Glass Coating.
@Mark Erbesfield I always use a strip wash snow foam and shampoo to remove any remnants of an old coating. If I'm trying to replenish an existing coating, I turn to things like Mirror Polishes Touchless foam-on solution, or Gyeon's Wet Coat. All you do is rinse those products off, and dry - simple way to keep your coatings durable.
How many wipe off towels do you need to do a truck? Can you use one for the whole thing? Or will it get too full and just start spreading the coating rather than removing the excess?
Question - should you prep the paint first? meaning, clay, polishing/buffing then apply the ceramic spray? I am new to these things and want to make sure I do this right.
Yes! 1000000% prep the paint first, then use with their prep spray, or just some rubbing alcohol to strip off the wax and polish. Once the paint is bare then you apply this product
@RodrigoRodriguez-ri7wn any imperfections in the paint will be sealed in......so if there is any light scratches they are staying until you polish away the ceramic, and then polish the scratch......it's best if you just polish before applying for the best results. It doesn't need to be perfect, just looking better then before.
OK so this may be old news but I was having a problem with your spray nozzle for the tire and rubber cleaner not squirting at all After using it a few times and I had plenty of product in the bottle so today I decided Hey what if it's clogged up so I ran it under hot water both the straw and the nozzle and it squirts now so that stuff dries in there if you don't use it for I don't know a week or more so I suggest cleaning it out after every use
Just got a brand new car and full car PPF. I've only driven it 500 or so miles. Would you recommend I decontaminate/clay bar, polish, surface prep and than graphene? Wouldn't the surface prep remove the work done by the polish?
At my local Canadian Tire there's Adam's Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating, but the word Advanced isn't on the bottle. Are there two versions of this product?
FYI. NEVER leave this ceramic coating on plastics. Unless you want that surface to age 20 years in a week. Idk why Adam’s ever recommended leaving it sit on plastics. Especially textured plastics. I don’t think they actually tested it before advising that. If it’s a textured plastic surface, I wouldn’t even let it cure all the way if you’re going to apply it. After a lot of complaints they’ve finally started to advise people to at least wipe it. But be warned a lot of plastic trims have been ruined just leaving this stuff sit. It will make your plastic look like it’s sat in the sun 20 years.
Getting ready to purchase this product but curious the shelf life of the bottle? I have heard that once a ceramic coating is open it needs to be used in 4 months or has to be tossed?
I have a brand new car, with less than 200 miles. Do I need to prep the paint with anything other than a simple wash and dry? OR should I handglaze it before Adams ceramic coating? I purchased your Graphene Complete kit.
same here and after researching the web they say yes,we just don't have to use a compound a simple wash, machine polish and decontamination will do just right.
Hopefully I receive a answer to my question.....If I've washed/clayed/compound/polish/ and waxed my vehicle can I apply your product directly on top of the work I've already done or do I need to "strip" the vehicle
interesting...typically it would be one or the other. Personally I think it would make more sense and be cool to try waxing then coat, but I'm just a backyard boogie DIYer 😂. Let me know if you tried yet and how it worked out.
Adam's answered this question posted by a different user. Their response: "...you could, but it is not necessarily recommended. A carnauba wax is in a different product family than ceramic coatings, and could make the coating perform less in terms of hydrophobics and water repelling behavior. Graphene Detail Spray or CS3 would be better and more compatible toppers for a ceramic coating to enhance performance and shine."
What do you have to say about Scott HD video with your product only lasting basically 7 days? I was almost hooked into buying your product but now I have my doubts!!!!
Can this be used on top of adams ceramic coating (small glass bottle)? I'm trying to keep/maintain the coating for as long as possible and was thinking I could top it off with a spray every 6 months or so.
I am in AZ and the temps are fairly high. I applied the coating early morning but did not see any rainbow effect. Is that normal? Did I do something wrong?
Product is solid. I have around a 100 kits imported here in Pakistan. Has been performing exceptionally well. We have all the seasons; summers, winters, autumn, high and low humid weathers. Much worse than Thailand. Runs strong.
I've been using similiar products like solvent ceramic & graphene spray coating in couple years. The fun about this product they tend to more forgiving to your microfiber than traditional ceramic coating, so you don't have to trash your microfiber. But it does reduce a bit with the towels absorbance capability. So my recomendation, you can use the same microfiber for other than your paint such as engine or wheels, tire, or undercarriage cleaning.
Did anybody have used Adams graphene Spray coating on the headliner fabric. I don't want to spend extra cash on another product for headliner fabric. Please provide me with there honest opinion.
Hi Gabe, we recommend spraying into the applicator directly, 3 or 4 sprays per panel, facing away from the vehicle. The overspray can travel far, so that is why we recommend to face away from the vehicle when you spray it into the applicator. Do NOT inhale the fumes either.
Hi there, not necessarily! The spray coating residue doesn't harden and crystallize as much as can happen with the thicker 60ml coating bottles that we offer, but we do recommend soaking the towels after application in a bucket of water with an ounce or so of our Towel & Pad Revitalizer, so that the spray coating doesn't make the towel water repellent. I like to mark my coating towels with a black marker or put a small cut into one corner so that I know it has been used with a coating previously. Then I know to test it carefully on the next vehicle if that vehicle has a delicate clear coat. If you do want to toss them, consider using them for less delicate jobs like exhaust tips, engine bay, etc before throwing them out.
Hi Ryan, for the spray coating, easiest application would be at room temperature and low humidity, but we have applied out coatings in temperatures as low as 50F. 60-80F would be ideal 👍
Hi, does anyone know how long after application this can be topped with something like a cos spray dressing? I’m looking at the collinite beadmaker ceramic/graphene product as a little gloss/bead enhancer….
No, this is a true coating and needs a completely clean and naked surface to properly bond. Applying over a sealant or wax will interfere with that process and lead to inferior results, much less longevity, etc.
From my experience the spray trades ease of application for longevity. About half. Though a good application of the spray should easily last 6-8 months, which is more than enough to justify the price and time. I personally use their graphene detail spray as an upkeep topper between coats. With their regular graphene ceramic, I got about 13 months before I noticed water not beading much, indicating its time for a fresh coat. The fact the spray is about 1/3 the cost made moving to the spray a no-brainer and I've been more than happy with it. As for the amount of coats, 1 is more than enough if its a good even application with proper cure time. Ceramics/Graphenes dont benefit from multiple coats like traditional waxes and carnauba's, at least from my experience anyway. Have been detailing cars for 20+ years now. If you meant how close is it in terms of visuals? The same. Both products have the same amount of gloss and reflection. TLDR In short: Spray = Same visuals but half the longevity of their regular ceramic, at 1/3 the price and a bit easier to apply.
@@junkiexl86 You mentioned using the graphene detail spray as an maintenance topper between coats/washes. Have you tried their Graphene Boost spray or would that be considered overkill and Graphene detail spray a better use?

Hi Ryan, for the spray coating, easiest application would be at room temperature and low humidity, but we have applied out coatings in temperatures as low as 50F. 60-80F would be ideal 👍

Hi, does anyone know how long after application this can be topped with something like a cos spray dressing? I’m looking at the collinite beadmaker ceramic/graphene product as a little gloss/bead enhancer….
Is this better then Griots 3 in 1 ???
Can I apply over a spray sealant as a topper?
No, this is a true coating and needs a completely clean and naked surface to properly bond. Applying over a sealant or wax will interfere with that process and lead to inferior results, much less longevity, etc.
Do you have to wait for the whole area to flash before wiping it off? It do you wipe off when you see most of it flash?
I'd imagine you'd want an even flash otherwise you'd wipe off non-flashed areas prematurely
Can i use this product over an old ceramic coating? After i do strip wash and clay bar?
Yes. That would be called a coating topper.
Can you apply to leather?
Can you apply it outside?
How close is it to a conventional ceramic, how many coats should be applied?
TLDR In short:
Spray = Same visuals but half the longevity of their regular ceramic, at 1/3 the price and a bit easier to apply.
@@junkiexl86 You mentioned using the graphene detail spray as an maintenance topper between coats/washes. Have you tried their Graphene Boost spray or would that be considered overkill and Graphene detail spray a better use?
