SCION xB back up camera install part 1 of 2

Hello everyone welcome back:) today I'll show you first few steps to getting the back up camera installed. I know a few of you want more details so I'll be dragging this all out over a few videos giving you all the tips and tricks I possibly can, it will end with a radio install.

The easiest way to pull whey is fishing a Pull rod threw with a pull rope electric tape the pull string to the wire and pull it there easy peasy. Just watch a video on network cable wall pulling and it makes everything easy.

So, how did you wire it to the headunit? I really need some help here. I even bought a harness for the factory head unit but can not get this thing to turn on.

Ahh yes, I have a factory harness for the new radio, how ever...my radio was supposed to be by here already but it got lost in shipping 🥺. I'm waiting for another one to be shipped off. Once i get the radio I'll make a follow up for the installation and wiring. And then I'll probably make a full review on the radio along with key features.

I just ordered a harness from Amazon since I want to keep factory radio
I just don’t know how to wire it since I want a backup cam for my ‘14 scion xb

I have same camera on my car. The only thing i dont like is the camera itself blocks the led light. because of that one side of the license plate is lit up more than the other. :(

Sorry to hear, I'm running led bulbs and I don't notice anything about it yet..do you mean from the camera view?

@@InsignificantBoost the camera itself is blocking the bulb from lighting up the left section of the plate. I'll see if I can take a pic tonight
