My channel blew up last year just by being consistent. I went from 2k subs in March to now over 236k subs. Got my silver YT play award and monetized too. Averaging over 2k a month in ad revenue and it grows more and more each month. Keep uploading and don't stop no matter what. You'll get there soon!
Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame- ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
Okay so... what type of business when you're running gaming channel with videos for entertainament? It feels unfair to me that only channels which solving people's pain or problem are valid and fast-growing, this type of business it's such a manipulation in some way, while entertainment and fun is always about entertainment and fun, no traps. And all these videos also curing the pain, pain to be important and popular in the sphere which solving other pains, it's like an endless loop. Personally I wanna know some advices for gaming channels also, but it feels like it doesn't exist as well lol and I know why, because it's harder and can't be explained this easy way. This is a good video anyways...
Ah, yes, perfectionism! I've always struggled with it and after over 10 years of wanting to start my channel, I was fed up with it and just started posting this past week. Even though I basically have no views at all yet, I feel soo liberated from it and like I'm actually actively kicking it in the butt by...just doing it (in tiny, imperfect steps). It sounds so simple and obvious, but it's one of the hardest things I've tried to overcome and it just feels so rewarding and exciting already! (: Just do the tiniest steps and you'll get there! Also, Ruri, thank you, from one adhd brain to another! (: Simple, clear and lots of valuable nuggets!
Along my journey, I've learned you must be willing to stop caring what others will think about you. The ones who judge you, don't want the best for you. This is a game where you MUST be relentless with your own goals. You've got this
Well, after a year off of youtube, i gotta say that i feel myself better without the toxicity on youtube. It's good to be back and seeing your content while doing mine on my own.

absolutely love this! since starting a 9-5 it’s been hard to get back on my youtube grind esp as a small creator, but this is just the push i needed to go harder this year 🎉🩵
I have a step by step process that can help you grow within an hour a day and tells you exactly what to do and is really simple for small creators. Would you like to see the video when it finishes uploading to UA-cam?
Thank you Ruri! I like your authentic style and that you don’t talk that general BS that so many UA-cam coaches do. I agree that is about bringing the value and not the fancy thumbnails - to put it shortly.
So true. I don't get attached to any of my videos now. I posted a video that didn't require much effort and it went viral (250k+ views) because a niche audience was already looking for it. I just share moments where I'm having fun and enjoying the moment and it gets views.
I love the energy in this video! It’s hard being a small creator with almost no audience, but I believe that hard work will pay off one day. This gives me so much hope-thank you! ☺
I just went to your channel- maybe it would help if you edit your titles to say “How to” make…. Creamy salmon, beetroot quiche etc- Ive been watching Think Media to give me tips on UA-cam videos

Thank you for these tips! I'm planning to get more serious on UA-cam this year and this is exactly what I'm looking for to get going. It's funny that you brought up the fact that you spend HOURS on a video for it to perform bad and some videos I spent no effort in- somehow perform way better is wild. The focus in on the value! Thank you!
Started my channel on 1st Jan 2025. Keep up the hardwork - all the small channels. Try to be consistent. Keep growing. Cheers !! We will meet here on Dec 31, 2025 to see how much of our hard-work paid off. and to set new goals for 2026.

I look forward to quiting my job this year. I really want to grow my channel and do youtube full-time. To all young creators, we will blow this year. 🙏❤️
I love your videos, Ruri. And i totally agree the most important thing is to keep posting anyway. Your videos actually help me a lot, a tried to make a channel some years ago and had no consistency cuz i was tu worried about lighting, setting, editing, b-roll... but i'm a photographer, so you're right again lol. Now i'm carefully thinking about what type of content i like to make and all of my thinking is been around reduce friction. Find a video editor that don't crashes on my computer cuz i don't have money to get a new one, finding a framing that i like, cuz i know if i dont get the framing i won't post it cuz the photographer in me would be outraged. Nothing fancy. Just clean. A light i can control. All jus so i can simply record and edit without worry too much about. Just like working out, if the gym is close to home, is way easier than walk an hour every day or something like that. Btw, i lived the spoonsor of today, i never saw something so cool, definetely gonna check it. Happy holidays and new year for y'll folks.

It takes time to grow your channel - to all the upcoming creators, I want to say, don’t give up. The most successful creators grinding for years before they reached a point where they can live off of their channels. We got this 🙌
Thanks for the reminder! I checked out your channel and watched your most recent video. Love the manifestation and visualization affirmations. Subscribing to support you so that we can grow our channels!
It is really very challenging to continue creating new content without seeing immediate result, but you need to stay consistent, positive and just work without overthinking and wanting to be perfect. And of course, combining with everything in our personal lives, e.g. work, children, house chores, rest, etc.
Thanks for sharing. I started my UA-cam channel journey this year, sending positive vibes to all aspiring creators ❤ We won’t give up, Let's grow together small creator 🥰💪
New subbie, I appreciate what advice you share, b/c I've found so many creators are click bait and forget it's the viewers that actually watch your content
Thank you for these tips. We are new creators with an older channel . I can't wait to share with the world what my channel is really about! Good luck, everyone, and remember to balance everything and have a positive and peaceful 2025
Consistency, simplicity, and value are the ultimate game changers in content creation. Whether it's scripting, thumbnails, or editing, focus on clarity and what truly resonates with your audience. it's not about perfection it's about progress. Start small, stay consistent, and let your channel grow naturally. You’ve got this :)
All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW!!! After all these years seeing creators explain the same topic points regarding growing a successful UA-cam channels, you went over things that most never talk about. EVERYTHING about it made sense and are good steps that will help someone increase their channel. I will probably start with the basics taught in this video, then a personalized consultation when I need direction. Thank you very much and good luck to you.
Thank you for your insight and tips! I started my channel a few months ago and I can see the growth, and I’m excited! I’m just focusing on being myself and having fun, and not on the numbers. I know the numbers will gradually build, but I’m not stressing about it. I’m just staying consistent
This is excellent advice. One of the biggest tips is to copy bigger creators, but that advice alone will do nothing. You have to know why they did what they did. And THAT should be the manner in which we copy. Not by just copying their style.
Thank you for inspiring me❤ I am so proud to share that as a mom and teacher, I've reached 68 subscribers on my UA-cam channel! It's been a journey filled with challenges, but every step has been worth it. I'm excited to keep creating and growing as I head into 2025. 🎉🎉
Great tips! As I approach 1,000 subs, I am not too worried about getting more than that. My goals are to offer valuable insights into various products I bought and have used to tell folks what they need to know to verify it is right for them. Earlier on, this channel became a bit of a secondary repository for videos that did not make it onto my primary RC Channel, but when I made that change, so did the performance of this channel. I hope this comment helps someone out there and I wish you the best 😃
Right. Subscribers count doesn't count much if it's not resonating with our content or not being consistent. And if we keep changing niche to find what really works and trying to figure out what really makes sense to give a value. By then we lose contact if not being consistent in posting because we became busy learning and working FT as well paycheque to paycheque. Kind of like learning everyday which I believe will find the time my video to shine with your support community 🙂 Hey Ruri your videos are really awesome. Thanks for sharing valuable videos 👌👌❤❤❤❤
I think of a subject related to my niche, I write about it for 20 minutes, I film myself ranting for 10 minutes, chat GPT tags, upload the video. I never edit or watch it (I don’t want to overthink or delete it). I’m happy and consistent with this method so far.😊
Struggling myself with this small channel, Im trying to inform myself with information like in this video and just gotta say: We’ll get there! Just keep trying and stay motivated! I got a health channel Im doing, a view or a like helps
I totally agree! I started My UA-cam journey with filming what I like to watch but now I’m a mom and my life and content is centered around vlogs when I really enjoy watching someone I’ve never met in my life
Thank you so much for this video, I'm reviving my channel where I offer copyright-free music for content creators and this message is exactly what I needed to encourage me to continue.
Hi Ruri! Thank you for the video🥰 It was very helpful! I started a UA-cam channel a few months ago and now have 45 subscribers but I hope that consistency and positive mindset will help me to grow my channel 🐻 I wish all the best to everyone who is in the same boat 🥂❤ We got this!
I really respect your game, Ruri. I hope I can bring viewers value the way you do in 2025, and I hope all others who are trying in this platform can succeed as well. Happy 2025 everyone!
I've watched dozens of videos from top creators like Alex Hormozi, Ali Abdaal, and Think Media and got much value from them, but that's the first time I feel like something was literally made for me, covers everything I needed, and makes me feel like: "forget all the notes and resources you've kept, you only need this one". A part-time content creator with a 9-5 here who has been following you for a while, and I'm thankful for your vulnerability and the great value you deliver!
There's a book called The Gilded Nexus of Prosperity, and it talks about how using some secret techniques you can attract a lot of money, it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal
This is great information. I've looked at hundreds of youtube channels on growth and success. This is really good. I've downloaded the USP doc, I'm going through it now. It got me down when I lost over 100 subs, that happens, it's a stepping stone for greatness THIS year. Thanks again 😊
I am an extremely small creator who started out, but i know with consistency and with 1% improvement, i can reach highest of the high level. Pray for me EVERYONE!!!!!!
I dont make videos. No real plans to. But i love learning of the process. Just seems this is a golden era for people to make money doing what they love, what theyre interested in, or even just by being themselves. If they can figure out a way that gets attention. Actually, i did upload videos before. In 2008. But it was music and it wasnt mine lol. So technically im a og youtuber. Heh

Well said Ruri, i just found that out for myself and it's so freeing compared to before. You're spot on, keep making these great videos, i'm sure everyone is learning so much from it!
I spend about 2 weeks on making one 20 minute video , only to barely get 200 views if I’m lucky. But it’s fine. I have a lot of fun making chicken videos even if no one wants to watch them. 😊
This video is extremely well done, thank you! I started my channel 9 months ago and this video is helping me really think through how I can improve my content and provide more value to my viewers! Here's to an awesome 2025!
People in the comments really motivates me to keep going. I am so close to 10k and still not monetized. I hope I'll reach my goal. Good luck to everyone.

Slowly build with consistency and don't give up on the things you care about most.
Ruri still on the consistency! Merry Christmas ❤
I really respect your game, Ruri. I hope I can bring viewers value the way you do in 2025, and I hope all others who are trying in this platform can succeed as well. Happy 2025 everyone!
Best of 2025 to you as well! 🎉
thanks ruri
finally getting my channel rebranded just i realized how crapy my old vids for the last 3yrs 😅
I used some techniques from that book to make money, and I can truly say I'm earning more now
I'll buy you dinner for this recommendation
I know about that book, my father told me about it
This new kind of scam is funny 😂😂
Great book honestly, I downloaded it yesterday beacuse my friend told me about it, I love it, thank God for this
This is great information.
Heh
That's very organized. Wow. Thank you for your generosity. I pray I can use your info.
Your tips are so helpful like i was confused about certain things ... definitely got the clarity. I have started my channel ..wish me luck 🤞🏻
Exelent video ruri, as always keep moving foward

3 yıl önce reşatla yaptığınız videoyu gördüm ve türkçe bilmen aşırı şaşırttı. Ve tabiki ispanyolca ve japonca gerçekten tebrik ediyorum başarılar.
Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work will always pay off at the end.
Simple and clear messaging! I stumbled over one of your videos,, and I subscribed almost immediately. Well done Ohama. I'll come back to watch you more.
I’m just finding her too. Super helpful for us smaller UA-camrs. 😊

I spend about 2 weeks on making one 20 minute video , only to barely get 200 views if I’m lucky. But it’s fine. I have a lot of fun making chicken videos even if no one wants to watch them. 😊
As a medium/small creator who has struggled for 7 years I can tell you that this is Gold! I have yet to apply it all the way 🤣
Se ingles básico 😂entendí un 35% de tu contenido, pero quede enganchada de principio a fin❤🎉
