15 year old black girl living woth my white mother😅 i gotta learn to do my own hair bc prices are expensive and my mom has bills to pay! This was very helpful thank you so much. (I’m glad there’s many people who can relate I wish you all the best!)
I'm definitely at the point where I need to learn to do this for myself. They charge $200 minimum to do these and I bring my own hair. Between me & my daughter... It's alot of money especially for mediocre service. Thank you for this video💗🙏🏾
I cannot tell you how thankful I am of this video. 3 years struggling doin trying to do knotless and I finally got of because of you. I could rlly cry right now in tears of joy. I am so grateful for this video. This is more exciting then 5 years ago when I learnt how to cornrow. Thank you so very much 🥲🙏🏽
AWESOME tutorial!!! I am braiding my hair for the beginning of school since I don’t want my mom to pay at least $200 for a style I could do on my own. I really needed help with keeping the braids from twisting and turning as I am braiding and this helped. Also, when I needed to grip the braiding hair with the two fingers, that helped as well. So thanks so much with this video! Tip: (ONLY FOR PEOPLE WITH MULTIPLE DEVICES) For people that don’t have a three-way mirror, you can facetime your computer/ipad with your phone, and vice versa to see the back of your head when parting. It helps me.
This is a great tutorial! I’m currently on day 3 trying to finish my braids with two random dookie braids on top as a result of me having no motivation lol These are beautiful
This is honestly the best knotless braid tutorial I've watched. Most people fail to mention the underhand technique and thats where I've been struggling. This video gives clarity on the underhand technique esp. and overhand.
Okay, I did mine this weekend and they came out GREAT! Took a Fri night and all day Saturday but totally worth it. Parting is the hardest-I had to ask someone to help since I don’t have the 3 way mirror yet. 😩 Thank you for another great tutorial!🙌🏾
Thank you for taking the time to do a video like this ! I’m viewing videos like this due to rude service, I’m tired of the ugly / rude service I get. You can be the sweetest person and they still rude. I don’t talk during service nor on my phone just complying so they can do what’s needed but get the worst service while they stoping and doing all of the above but I can’t stretch nor eat my food or a snack but paying $280 and up without hair included. If we stop supporting these Braiders bet they’ll be a different approach on services.
GIRL the way this video should have 1+million plus views. Throughout all the videos I’ve seen explaining how to do knotless on yourself, this is by far the only one I know I can master !! Especially the pieces in the back which are the hardest
When I tell you this has helped me so much. I was sitting for a hr trying to figure out how to even start.. then I came across your video. It got me on track and even though this is a long process I’m happy I didn’t give up. Thank you girl!!!!
This might be the BEST tutorial I’ve ever seen. You explained everything so clearly, I feel more confident to try this out. definitely going to watch this the next time I do my braids!
ive BEEN lookin for detailed tutorials & could never find one that i like but LOVED this one , you really showed step by step what to do, the arrows are a big help as well
This video is gold! I’ve been braiding my own hair for over 10 years and girl, you taught me some good tips!! Thank you!!! & I’m going to try installing knotless braids for the first time thanks to you! Great demo and explanation! 💯
I wasn't even halfway through and i just knew this was probably the best tutorial I've seen so far. Very detailed from start to finish. Hopefully I can get started this weekend....pray for me
@@rainbowmary3667 I did. And I don't think I'm using enough hair, I looked down and realized I only used 2 packs of hair 🤣. Maybe it's because I didn't want them that long
@@honeylemonadearts8852 yeah it was, they seemed ok. Maybe thinner towards the ends compared to others, but I didn't mind because it made it easier to wrap in a bun
Your tutorial is so helpful I’ve seen knotless tutorials only a billion times but you break it down in simplest form parting is the hardest part for me
I braid my hair (myself) at times but with knots...your video and choice of words to clearly and throughly explain the process is AWESOME! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I may not be able to do the part crisp (because I've yet to invest in a tri-mirror) but, I feel confident enough to do it decently at least. I am glad I came across your page! 💛🙏
I love the how well explained and displayed the process. This is exactly how I braid my own hair and this makes more confident in doing my knotless braids this weekend ❤
This really helped me figure out lot on how to do my own knotless braids because I have a very tender head and I don’t really like people touching my hair and my hair is also very thick and kinky and by watching this im so confident to try braiding my own hair I can’t wait to try this out by myself I’m so excited!!! I’ll update the comment when I do it this video was so informative 😊 Thank Youuu
This was an awesome tutorial! I never knew tri mirrors existed! Although I already know how to braid my own hair, I don’t know how to feed-in, but after this I think I have the confidence to at least try it again! ☺️❤️
you snapped with this tutorial chile! very detailed! I've been trying to get mine to look exactly like these but they always come out too thick and heavy :( but nowww (thanks to you) I know that I just need to use smaller pieces so I can build it up to my liking. thank youuuu! I'm doing these tomorrow lmaoo
I’m so glad you made this. I had 2 braiders cancel on me this week and I needed my hair braided by Thursday. I’m gonna start on Tuesday to do this. Wish me luck ❤
Picture day is coming up and last year was an DISASTER!! This year I gotta pick up the paste but I don’t want to spend 100+ dollars on something that I can learn myself. I’m happy I found this tutorial so I can try it out on myself! You were very helpful. Thank you❤
I just want to say this tutorial was very helpful with parting and with feeding in the hair. I have been doing my own knotless for about 8 months now, and I couldn’t figure out the feedin part. My braids looked so uneven lol. But your tutorial helped so much and it reduced the amount of time I spent. Thank you!
This video has convinced me to do my own. Showing how you add in the hair helps a lot. I feel like that was always the part that confused me and scared me the most lol. Thank you for this video!!
i absolutely love this video. i’ve planned on doing box braids on myself for about 2 weeks now but the blending of the braiding hair with my natural hair has been such a struggle. I cant wait to do this in the morning!!! thank you so much

Love the very detailed video. I am learning to do my own hair so that I don't have to pay so much to keep getting it done. I have never done knotless box braids. I am going to try for some that are much smaller than the ones that you just did on yourself. Thank you so much for doing a video like this. This did help.
Thank you for this video! It's been a loooong time since I have braided my hair--before there was any UA-cam, so I learned on my own. So glad to have videos that help us learn things now!
