In Finland we have morning- and afternoon clubs for the kids whose parents are working. The clubs are mainly intended for 7-8 year old children. A 9-year-old child is estimated to be able to manage on they own for short periods of time. There may be exceptions.

Every system is excellent if you only show its positive sides.

As an European: You and your family are very welcomed to move here in Finland. If you can handle our winters. 😅🇫🇮🤝

Hi Mauro, these days schools systems are totally different than 50's 60's 70's and earlier ..those days finnish schools did not offer all these benefits and comforts so much at all , .but nowadays really schools are like "hotels " in my eyes for the students..and all free..our schooling system offers to all the students the same chances equally..that's great❤🇫🇮thank you Mauro for great share , have a good and happy day 🇮🇹❤🇫🇮

I was in the elementary school in the 90's and it was an old building, no nice things for students, we had to always be outside for the breaks (unless it was below -25C). Can someone say if most schools actually even nowadays look like this in the video? All schools get the same money from state but the money they get from county/municipality can differ based on how wealthy that county is? If I am wrong, please someone correct.

@@elinahamalainen5867 i was in elementary school at 80's, we had broken floor tiles that had asbestos in them so they took little measurement and put us in a barrack school made from marine containers for 2 years until we went second term.

The ugly problem of teasing is still ignored and not solved. And nowadays people of Finnish origin don't move to the areas where there are a lot of immigrants so their kids don't have to go to schools where Finnish kids are the minority in the classes.

Yes, we pay high taxes - and now you see where that tax money goes :)
So kids have free education, rich kids have no advantage over poor kids, Healthcare is tax money funded and so on, and so on. So at the end - nothing is free - tax payers pay it all.
    And...
We in finland are not super wealthy - we just use our tax money more productively. We don't let politicians to steal our tax euros - because tax money is from the people - for the people.
