Mercedes has a pc program for all instructions and torque specs. Its called WIS (Werkstatt Informations System).

Wierum funktioniert eigentlich die Unterdruckstuerung der Pumpe? Ist sie per default eingekuppelt und wird durch Unterdruck ausgekuppelt, oder dreht das Riemerad ohne Unterdruck frei und wird erst durch Ansteuerung eingekuppelt?

Das kann ich leider nicht beurteilen. In Sachen Motorleistung und Beschleunigung vielleicht schon, aber letztenendes muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, welches Auto er besser findet. Einen 125 bin ich noch nie gefahren.
Warum wurde der Riemen nicht gleich mit gewechselt?
Aller wieviel km muss die Wasserpumpe und der Riemen gewechselt werden?

I can try, because I am researching the same, at the moment. First, with the venturi vacuum pump, you are removing MOST of the volume from high temperature circuit, quickly! NTKL adapter box is actually a vacuum reservoir, that can "store" full vacuum. After you removed MOST of the volume with venturi pump, and after you accumulate full vacuum in NTKL box, when you open the tap beetween NTKL and cooling system, the full vacuum from the box makes a "kick suck" to the cooling system, thus releasing some more air, possibly tappered air from small holes or passages or through some membrane, maybe even from the low temperature cooling system. Keep vacuming whole system with vacuum pump, because vacuum pump can make more vacuum than the venturi pump, to ensure all air is out. NTKL adapter also can store some ammount of coolant, if needed. All this is just my guess, I hope to get the official information. Make sense to you, @Moker r?
@@TheMinister2000 Hmm, just partly. Because the vacuum cannot, in my opinion, be deeper than the actual vacuum pump value. The NTKL adapatation must have a different function. I think it is some kind of protection for the vacuum pump, like a large filter with absorbent material in it. It would be interesting to actually open the NTKL adapatation to see what is inside. So I think using a regular vacuum pump would also suffice. Or could it be that the NTKL adapatation is some kind of protection for the cooling system?: To not reduce too much to prevent damage to the cooling system?
@@moker071 Well, NTKL sure is protection for the electrical vacuum pump, because it can store coolant at bottom. If you connect vacuum pump directly to the cooling system, even a small ammount of coolant through hoses would quickly kill the el. vacuum pump. Theoretically, yes, you can use only the el. vacuum pump for the job - if you ensure coolant does not get sucked into el. pump and as long as you make enough vacuum. Vacuuming would require more time than using venturi vacuum pump. Fastest is: venturi pump to remove most air/coolant quickly, then el. vacuuming to ensure enough vacuum for filling. MB clearly states that the required vacuum before filling is more than -0.9bar. @WaveCeptor waited for that value and then filled the system. Venturi vacuuming alone can not make that level of vacuum. Can make upto -0.8bar. You can make good filling with coolant whatever way you want (only with el. vacuum, with ntkl, with venturi....) as long as you make more than -0.9bar of vacuum (there is no attention to a possible damage to the cooling system from too high vacuum, or, there is no allowed vacuum range, like from -0.9 to -0.95bar, only says more than -0.9bar). But, the procedure: 1. making big vacuum in the NTKL box, and 2. opening the tap to the cooling system, looks to me like it has some function of "quick surge". I dont know.... :D

Das war die erste Wasserpumpe die ich hatte die ein Metallgehäuse hatte. Alle davor waren aus Kunststoff.

You need: 8mm wrench socket, torx t45, torx e10 and torx e12, screwdriver and a HAZET 798-4 hose clamp pliers.

fand das video wirklich klasse und dass die Drehmomente direkt im Video standen hat mir richtig gut gefallen.
Du hast ja eine Vakuum-Befüllung mit neuem Kühlmittel durchgeführt. Wäre es auch möglich (wenn man das ganze zu Hause macht) den Kühlkreislauf normal zu befüllen und danach herkömmlich zu entlüften, d.h. mit Heizung auf warm, Gebläse auf niedrigster Stufe und bei offenem Ausgleichsbehälter Warmlaufenlassen bis der große Kühlkreislauf offen ist und alle Luft aus dem System entwichen ist?
Würde mich mal interessieren, da ich bisher nur an älteren Autos gearbeitet habe, wo das problemlos funktioniert.

es geht auch ohne Vakuum. Nur haben wir in der Werkstatt die Erfahrung gemacht das der Kühlmittelstand nach einiger Zeit nochmals absinkt. Wenn du aber den Kühlmittelstand in Auge behältst ist das kein Problem. Um möglichst viel Luft aus dem System zu bekommen empfehle ich nach dem ersten befüllen eine Probefahrt (min. 10 km) mit geschlossenem Ausgleichsbehälter bei der der Motor die Betriebstemperatur erreicht. Dabei sollte das Auto auch mindestens einmal voll bis zum oberen Drehzahlbereich beschleunigt werden und wie du es schon geschrieben hast, sollte die Heizung auf die wärmste Stufe eingestellt sein. Danach noch einmal befüllen und den Kühlmittelstand im Auge behalten.

wie hat sich das bemerkbar gemacht? geräusche oder kühlwasserverlust ? - is ja ne ganz schöne scheisse des alles zu zerlegen haha beim m112 machst den riemen runter 5-6 schrauben rausdrehen zack wasserpumpe draußen :D nja is halt scho etwas älter. der om 651 is ja sowieso ned grad der prachtdieselmotor von mb leider...
Das hat sich am Kühlmittelverlust bemerkbar gemacht. Und beim 651er gibt es schon ein paar Stellen die öfter mal undicht werden ;)

Warum hast du die Pumpe getauscht? Why you Chance the water Pump? What was the fail from the car? My c204 have a yellow coolant signs in the Cockpit and the Water temp Go from 90 to 80 degrees. Is the water Pump Broken?

Yes its a biturbo engine. Only the 200CDI has one turbo.
