Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4 ATV Clutch Adjustment

Here is a quick video on how to adjust the clutch on a 1998 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4 ATV.
Extremely easy to do, all you need is a wrench and a screwdriver.

Thank you so much for this video if you had not put on you tube I would have had to take the back end of my 4; wheeler apart but from watching this video I found out that I just had to turn the adjustment screw because some kids had messed with it

It is opposite on my 92 it clock wise till resistance I'd felt the counter clockwise 1/8

Hey Off Grid Freedom, so I have a similar Yamaha four wheeler so the thing that’s wrong with it is when I go into 1st gear then 2nd gear and 3rd gear while driving it takes a really long time to speed up and it is is it’s loud as if it was kind of revving. Can you please help me out ?

Can you expand more on what you mean by your clutch not acting right? Was it slipping?

It felt like it was sticking when I would try to shift , sometimes i would really have to fight it to get it to shift. After adjusting it felt alot smoother shifting.

Hello if my big bear is hard to shift from 1 to 5, would it help to ajust the clutch? I would have to increase or decrese? Thanks

Yes it would most likely help to adjust it, just follow the steps in the video and that should adjust it to where it should be. How is your big bear idling? Sometimes if its idling high it make it hard to shift.
