Hey just bought one for $200 Im gonna rebuild top end. doesnt move at all rear diff seams to be fine. shifts into gear but doesnt move at all when running. when the machine turns off you can still hear the clutch spinning till it stops. I have a 97 SE big bear 350 and doesnt spin when it turns off.
First of all, thank you so much for all the well made, informative walk throughs videos. You have helped me immensely on my Timberwolf Carb. New subscriber!
Question for you, I recently picked up a good running '98 Big Bear 4x4. Great machine, but with the 26" mud lites it's a bit lazy and seems to struggle up steep hills and thick mud. In your opinion will a slip on pipe or clutch kit help with power? Assuming it's in 100% good stock order first of course. Thanks in advance!
Not expecting big power like the newer big engine quads, but since mine doesnt have the old Hi/Lo gears any extra oomph would go a long way.
Hi there I have a 350 big bear I’m looking on changing the centrifugal shoes or as a complete unit but I’m struggling to find it’s the four shoe could you help or point me in the right direction with this ? Cheers craig
do you know what the specs are for the clutch shoes?
Did you ever figure it out?
@@hunterdupont558 yeah found some owners manuals
@@ezechielroy859 I was asking because I need to know
All I could find was 7 ft pounds for mine
@@hunterdupont558 i meant the wear of the centrifugal clutch shoes, not the torque specs, where did you find that info? just curious
